The Ropemaker in Havant Road, Emsworth has officially opened its doors on July 23. The site has been bought by Heartwood Inns and it has been completely transformed into a brilliant pub, restaurant and hotel venue that is dog friendly.

00:44Hi, I'm Rich, the CEO of Heartwood Collection, the business that owns and operates the newly
00:51opening Roadmaker in Emsworth.
00:55And what are we doing down here today?
00:57We're here because we are launching the pub.
01:00It's our first official day of opening.
01:02We've got some fantastic things happening all day.
01:05We have some sea shanty men here doing some singing.
01:09We also have a polka dot trio.
01:22So we started looking at the property about two years ago, August 2022, and we absolutely
01:28loved the Brookfield Hotel, and we felt that there was a real opportunity to kind of pubify
01:34it and kind of turn it into a standard Heartwood Inns pub.
01:39We're absolutely delighted with the result.
01:41After a multi-million pound refurb, the pub is looking absolutely gorgeous.
01:47We have 43 stunning bedrooms of different types, really, really accessible, a really
01:52good price, starting from £100 a night, and a fantastic pub space with a seasonal
01:59menu of lovely favourites and classics, but also some really quirky dishes as well.
