00:00bismillah rahmani rahim assalamu alaikum Lahore is called the city of gardens
00:10There were many gardens in Lahore at one time, but now only a few are left.
00:18Gulabi Bagh was a very big garden like many other gardens in Lahore.
00:25But now only one door of it is left, which is called Gulabi Bagh Door.
00:31It is located at a distance from Shalamar Bagh on Main GT Road.
00:37Nearby it is UET Lahore.
00:40Some signs are written on the Gulabi Bagh Door,
00:45from which it is known that this garden was built by Sultan Beg.
00:50There is also a cemetery in this garden, which is called the cemetery of Dayi Anga.
00:56There are two graves in this cemetery,
00:59one of which is of Zaib-un-Nisa Begum Al-Maroof Dayi Anga,
01:04and the other is the grave of her husband Murad Khan.
01:08Because Zaib-un-Nisa Begum used to give milk to Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan,
01:14that's why they are called Dayi Anga.
01:17In Urdu, Anga is called the one who gives milk.
01:24Her husband Murad Khan was a court official,
01:29and her son Rashid Khan was an archer, who was killed in a battle.
01:34Dayi Anga's daughter was the Anga of Alamgir Badshah.
01:41When I reached this garden, it was 6 o'clock in the evening.
01:46The main gate of the garden was closed,
01:49so I could not see this garden from inside.
01:52The guard told me to come the next day.
