00:00The Marikina River has reached a critical level so the people on the other side of the river were forced to flee.

00:14The water level in the Marikina River rose rapidly and is now remaining at the third alarm.

00:19That is why the residents are being forced to evacuate.

00:28Past 10 AM, the siren sounded.

00:31The water level in the Marikina River exceeded 18 meters and people had to flee.

00:40In Barangay Tumana, the water level has already exceeded the people.

00:43The residents are carrying their own belongings and pets.

00:48The Marikina River Park is now submerged in the water.

00:51It is a well-known landmark in the city.

00:53The I Love Marikina sign and the street signage are no longer visible in the water.

01:02Cars, motorcycles, cars, vans, and bicycles were blocked in high places such as the Marikina Bridge.

01:10For some residents of Provident Village, the sudden rising of the water level is disturbing.

01:16This is one of the places that were affected by the floods.

01:20Even though there are roads leading to Marikina, many of them are not accessible.

01:24That is why the Marikenyo in Sinolan was also affected by the flood in Chico Street in Quezon City

01:30for the child's grandmother who lives in Barangay Tumana in Marikina.

01:35But not far from there, Sinolan returned to the surface of the water.

01:40My daughter is alone in the house.

01:43I just got back from work.

01:47The water level has already exceeded our house.

02:01where people were still affected by the floods in some places.

02:05That is why the residents are still evacuating.

02:08Yesterday afternoon, DILG Secretary Abalos came here

02:12to inform Mayor Marci Chodoro about the needs of the village

02:18three motorized vans will be sent to evacuate the residents.
