00:23before the platform added a fact-check note to the post.

00:26This news spread across the internet with hashtags

00:30like whereisjoe and proofoflife trending online.

00:33Even after Joe Biden made his first public appearance

00:37after pulling out of the presidential race,

00:39this didn't stop the conspiracy theory in its tracks.

00:42People actually started claiming it was either a body double

00:46or old footage of the president

00:47and that he was, in fact, still in a hospice.

00:50So how do we know that this isn't true?

00:52Well, firstly, there's no credible evidence

00:55to support this claim.

00:56He was diagnosed with COVID a matter of days ago,

00:59but on Tuesday, Joe Biden tweeted to say

01:02that he will be addressing the nation

01:04on what lies ahead for the country

01:06and how he's gonna finish the job for American people.

01:09And finally, Biden's physician confirmed

01:12that he had completed his 10th dose

01:14of the coronavirus medication Paxlivid on Monday morning

01:18and was continuing to perform his duties.

01:20So all of the above contradicts any notion

01:24that he is in hospice care.
