00:00All right, Carver. Hi. We were dead on on the subway series last night. McNeil came
00:09up big. The Mets won that game. I watched I watched the Skeens game and then I went
00:15right over and picked up the Yankee game in the sixth inning. And I'll tell you what,
00:21like I said, that lineup is just flat out better than the Yankees lineup is flat out
00:27better than the Yankees right now, as we thought was going to happen. Now, I didn't
00:31think that they'd walk him four times, but Judge didn't see a pitch to hit until the
00:36ninth inning. Three walks, then an intentional walk. And then he did get a chance in the
00:41ninth and he struck out looking against Diekman. 3-2 win for the Mets. Jeff McNeil, who has
00:48been hot for the Mets, had the big blow on SNY to put them ahead for good. He's a sinker
00:54ball pitcher, a good matchup for McNeil. Again, the 3-2. And it's in the air to deep
00:59right center field. Back goes Soto near the wall and it's out of here! Jeff McNeil strikes
01:06again! A two-run homer for McNeil, his ninth of the year, his fourth since the All-Star
01:13break. And the Mets go in front 3-1 in the sixth. Fourth since the break. That's crazy.
01:23Yep, he's been hot. He had a bunch of home runs against the Marlins over the weekend,
01:28of course. So there you go. Mets stay hot, Yankees do not. Here's Aaron Boone trying
01:34to talk about... Here he is about... It's funny, they looked awful at the plate last
01:39night, the Yankees. You had the Glaber home run, Judge never saw a pitch, Soto didn't
01:44look great. But somehow Aaron Boone was able to find all these great at-bats that the Yankees
01:49had last night. Here he is. Yeah, just obviously didn't get a lot going. You know, Glaber,
01:55the homer the other way. I thought, you know, Ben Rice had a really good at-bat there. He
02:01came off the bench off Nunez. Put a real good swing on the ball the other way. I thought
02:10DJ had a good swing on the ball when Verdugo was at third, hit the ball hard the other
02:14way. So we had some decent at-bats in the big spots. And even that last inning, felt
02:20like we had some good at-bats. You know, Diekman made some pitches when he needed to. You know,
02:25tough one. Listen, how about this team? Like today I read about Dominguez, like he's going
02:34to come riding in on a white horse and save the Yankees season. Like they have been talking
02:39about this kid. And what has he been since he's been with the Yankees? He's been injured the
02:44whole time. When has that kid not been injured? And he's, you know, this minor league prospect
02:50that's supposed to save the franchise. And they're writing about it. He was the lead story today. He
02:57was the front page of the sports in the daily news in New York that he was, you know, he was
03:04close to returning from injury. And I'm like, you gotta be kidding me. This team, we just went
03:10through it yesterday. Did we not go through this? Their lineup yesterday for that game was so
03:15pathetic that you get what you ask for. Like they had all these hacks playing and now you're going
03:22to tell me that, now listen, I don't deny that Dominguez has shown flashes of talent when he
03:30played. But once he played a month, the guy's literally played a month since he's been a Yankee.
03:35He played like three weeks and then he got injured. He's never been not injured. He's always
03:41unhealthy. He's never played. Like, I don't want to hear it. I'd rather see that kid Jones, who is
03:48healthy and hits home runs. I don't need this. And then this rice kid, right? Cerrone. Look, he had
03:53three home runs in a game. He's Reggie Jackson, all of a sudden. And then what's he done since he
03:57said 100? He's literally hitting 110. He's an embarrassment. Like they don't have anyone that
04:04can hit like that. That's just all there is to it. You can think whatever you want, say whatever you
04:08want. We're dead right about this team. That lineup you gave me yesterday was anemic.
04:15Anemic. And by the way, that Dominguez, he's played eight games for the Yankees. Eight games.
04:23Now they were an exciting eight games. He had four home runs in those eight games and everybody was
04:27all jacked up. It was eight games that he played in two weeks. I mean, last year, you know, he
04:36played over like eight games in like a two week span at four home runs, whatever. It is what it
04:41is.
