00:00More than 1,000 residents of Antipolo, Rizal were evacuated from evacuation centers due to flooding.

00:18Susan, good morning. Until now, Marcos Highway is still flooded in Barangay Mayamot in Antipolo City.

01:11Leo was pushed by a motorcyclist for four hours. He was only able to get out of the flood.

01:16It's very difficult. The motorbike just jumped in the flood. It's really dangerous.

01:23The taxi that Mar is driving has been parked for more than 16 hours on Marcos Highway.

01:28He's waiting for the water to reach their garage.

01:31It's early because the flood hasn't started yet. That's why I'm still here. I'm still on a U-turn.

01:41Outside of a subdivision, the water flow is visible.

01:45The flood has already entered the first floor of some houses.

01:48There's a part for people to go out. Sometimes, other people go here.

01:55Are the residents here?

01:56Yes. They are in the evacuation center.

01:59Did the water rise fast?

02:01Yes. It was fast earlier. It was low earlier.

02:06It rose up to four floors.

02:11Until late at night, the authorities are escorting the rescue boat to some places.

02:17According to the Antipolo CDRRMO, 15 barangays in the city were affected by the flood.

02:22250 families were affected, compared to more than 1,100 individuals evacuated to 24 evacuation centers.

02:31Modular tents were built for the evacuees.

02:35This is the situation here at Marcos Highway. This is a westbound lane that leads to Marquinao and Quezon City.

02:48There are a lot of cars and motorcycle riders who are afraid of the flood.

02:56The truth is, this road is passable for light vehicles since early morning.

03:02Last night, we were able to pass through here.

03:04This morning, we saw people traveling here in modern jeeps and traditional jeeps to the area of Cubao.

03:12That's the only thing, there are a lot of people who are afraid of the riders because there are a lot of cars in the middle.

03:17They are just being escorted by their motorcycles.
