00:00After almost three decades in Valenzuela, a man was wanted in a theft case back in 1997.

00:08The accused was found guilty of the crime.

00:10Here is the first news, Bea Pinlac.

00:15Alias Jesse has gray hair.

00:18He looks different when he stole a store.

00:23It's been almost 30 years.

00:26Jesse was arrested last Wednesday

00:28for stealing and breaking into their establishment

00:33such as a bake shop and a gas station in Valenzuela and other nearby areas.

00:38They posed as a customer,

00:40but they were actually the cashiers who were taking the money.

00:44In other modes, they were renting cars.

00:49Their getaway was not their own cars.

00:53The group received 50,000 to 70,000 pesos per hold-up.

01:00In 1997, the first warrant of arrest was issued against Jesse.

01:04When he was mentioned as a member of Nieves Robbery Group in 2021,

01:09a new arrest order was issued against him.

01:13According to the police, Jesse has been hiding for 27 years.

01:17But the suspect insisted that he was only in Valenzuela for the past few decades.

01:23He admitted to stealing from a small store in 1997.

01:28He was only forced to do it and he never did it again.
