A former coal miner who developed the deadly Black Lung disease has won a landmark legal victory and awarded a multimillion-dollar payout. Craig Keogh worked at four mine sites in New South Wales and Queensland. He was diagnosed with the condition in 2018. The now 52-year-old says his employer did not tell him his role underground would expose him to harmful particles. Today's decision makes Mr Keogh the first Australian to win a Black Lung case at trial.
