Energy Bills To Fall Within Five Years, Starmer Pledges As Uk's Economy Goes Green

00:00We certainly want to get those bills down in this parliament and every step we take that's all you know

00:07What we're going to do in relation to solar energy to onshore wind today

00:12Obviously announce what we're making about GB energy each of these steps will bring down bills

00:26So I want to see those bills go down in this parliament. We've made that pledge. That's what we intend to do

00:36So many people be hammered by their energy bills in the last few years talk to any business up and down the country

00:43And ask them what's your number one challenge and I put money these days or most of them saying it's my energy bill

00:49It's far too high

00:50I need to get it down and

00:51Families have struggled with their energy bills and therefore have to make difficult choices about what else they do

00:56But look it's it is about making these decisions early on
