Nhill Tigers' forward Glen Saniong catches up with the Wimmera Mail-Times and talks about his time playing football in the region.

00:00Glenn Saniyong is in his second season with the Neil Tigers.
00:03The Papua New Guinea AFL Academy graduate has been playing football in Australia for
00:08several years.
00:09Football is like a big opportunity for me to grab, it's like an opportunity of a lifetime
00:14playing football and going through your career and stuff.
00:17So for me football is like the best thing that happened to me with the skills and the
00:24talent that I learned coming through the academic programs and stuff in PNZ and set me up.
00:29In a big stage in Australia, it's like a big opportunity to me.
00:35And what do you enjoy about being around the club here in Neil and the community as well?
00:40Coming out here last year was just a place pretty new to me and by seeing the Neil community
00:49and everyone, they're just out there looking after me and saying stuff, you know, you need
00:55anything, they're like having my back.
00:58Coming, you know, it's just a pretty new place and, you know, knowing everyone and everyone
01:03is just out there helping me, telling me what to do, if I need something, they just said
01:08you can reach out and they just make me feel like I'm at home and I just feel like, yeah.
01:13And then playing footy with the boys and it was just terrific and I was just loving it.
