00:00All right. Well, yeah, cause that's the issue, right? If assuming they're locked in at shortstop
00:04because they can't move Dan to be, they're locked in at first because they don't want
00:07to move Bush, say, uh, and, uh, half have no trade clauses. Even though John Heyman
00:12said there's some talks about say, uh, feels like they're committed to PCA. Uh, I would
00:18imagine you can't trade Bellinger when he's hurt and he's got player options.
00:22Um, second base, I don't want him to trade Nico and that's not a position that's easily
00:27upgradable on offense. Then catcher has been a disaster. Morel has been what he's been
00:32Soto, uh, by giving him $300 million. Like what, how does this team inject offense this
00:38off season? Where do they inject it? It would have to be really expensive to your point.
00:42They would have to either. And one of two ways, either you, you invest a ton of money
00:47in Juan Soto. And by the way, I think that number, uh, I think it's going to be closer
00:52to $400 million. If I, if I just had to July 26th, what is your guess as to what it's
00:58going to cost?
00:59I think that number is closer to four than it is to three. And I realized it's going
01:03to be unique for the Yankees to balance what they're already paying judge and Cole to an
01:07extent with what they're going to be paying Soto if they bring them back. But that's the
01:11cost to do business right now, especially in a world in which a, for one year, at least
01:15a DH only in Otani gets $700 million. Now I realized there are other reasons why you
01:19got $700 million, but that's where he's at right now. I think that the other piece is,
01:25do you use some of your prospect capital to then trade for a younger catcher?
01:31Uh, you know, one, one name to look at is Marshawn, who was with the Phillies, who isn't
01:35really playing in the longterm because they've got real Muto. He's a guy that I think could
01:40potentially be a fit for, for the Cubs, other teams that have a catching surplus. Again,
01:45the Orioles are one Samuel Basayo. Let's see if he's still an Oriole by 6 00 PM on
01:49Tuesday, but if he's still an Oriole by that time, he's someone that they believe can catch.
01:55And they got a guy by the name of Rutschman is going to be their guy forever behind the
01:57plate. So I think that's a natural potential trade fit.
