00:00Good morning from Pag-Asa Weather Forecasting Center.

00:03This is our update on the weather for the next 24 hours.

00:09We will continue to monitor the low-pressure area inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

00:14Earlier this morning, this area was hit by a landslide at a distance of 1,035 kilometers

00:19east of Southeastern Mindanao.

00:22This can be seen in our satellite images.

00:24This is on the boundary of our PAR and is far from our country.

00:28Even so, this trough or extension, we can see it is still cloudy in the east of our country.

00:34It is possible that a landslide or landslide may occur

00:37that may cause flooding and landslides in the eastern part of Visayas and Mindanao today.

00:43Meanwhile, the effects of the southwest monsoon or low-pressure

00:49in a large part of Luzon and Visayas will continue.

00:51This is likely to cause floods and rains in the northern part of Central Luzon

00:58as well as in a large part of Northern Luzon.

01:01It is more clear in the time that we expect in most parts of our country,

01:05including Metro Manila.

01:08Even so, we still have a chance of isolated rain showers or localized thunderstorms.

01:17within the next 24 to 48 hours.

01:21Even so, we expect that this low-pressure area,

01:25in the next few days, it is possible for rains to fall in the eastern part of our country.

01:30So, as early as tomorrow, we will also experience

01:33scattered rains and thunderstorms in the Dicol region.

01:37The rains will continue in the eastern part of Visayas and Mindanao until Monday next week.

01:44But by then, on Tuesday to Wednesday,

01:47it is clear in the time or generally fair weather conditions that we will experience

01:52in a large part of our country.

01:56And for the location of our time today here in Luzon,

02:00because of the continuous floods, we still expect

02:03this cloudy sky with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms

02:07in the Ilocos region, the whole Cordillera,

02:11and also in Zambales, Bataan, Batanes, and Babuyan Islands.

02:34In the southern part of Luzon, on the other side of Metro Manila,

02:38the weather is better today.

02:41Generally, the fair weather conditions are hot and foggy,

02:44but by the afternoon until the evening,

02:46we should be prepared for the chance of isolated rain showers

02:50or the heavy rains with landslides and landslides.

02:53Maximum temperature forecast for the area today

02:5922 degrees in Baguio City, and 33 degrees Celsius in Tunggeng Arawo.

04:00In the southern part of Visayas,

04:02in the entire Palawan, and in the southern part of Mindanao,

04:06there will be continuous floods and landslides

04:08aside from the chance of sudden and rapid rains caused by thunderstorms,

04:13usually from afternoon to night.

04:16Maximum temperature forecast for Calayaan Islands and Puerto Princesa today

04:20is possible to reach 32 degrees Celsius,

04:2332 degrees in the areas of Iloilo, Cebu, and Tacloban.

04:28Maximum temperature forecast today

04:30for Cagayan de Oro is possible to reach 32 degrees Celsius,

04:3432 degrees in Davao, and 33 degrees Celsius in Zamboanga City.

04:41As for the condition of our seas,

04:43we still have high gale warnings in the coastal areas of Batanes

04:47because it is still exposed to low winds.

04:50Meanwhile, the sea level is moderate

04:52in most parts of our country.

04:56Therefore, to our fellow fishermen

04:58and those who have small sea vehicles,

05:00especially here in the areas where we have high gale warnings,

05:04if possible, please do not sail

05:08high waves up to the very high sea level
