00:00It's a sketch all the time when I should have been doing my schoolwork.

00:04You know, I wore, like, coming from skateboarding, I wore, like, vans.

00:08If you can find a vocation around something that you love,

00:13you now have a dream job.

00:16And you will show up there, you'll be the first one there,

00:20and you'll be the last one to leave, and you'll love it.

00:23And if you can actually find a way to service other human beings,

00:27now you have a human, universal dream job

00:32that you feel like you get paid because you would do it for free if you could.

00:38And to me, that is what we should be telling our children.

00:41That is the way that we should be leading our society.

00:44Then you have to give thanks by giving back because it's given to you.

00:48Your life is a gift. The present is a gift.

00:52That's why they call it the present.

00:54It's a gift. You've got to give back to that which is given to you.

00:58So we created Black Ambition to foster black and brown ideas

01:06and have mentorship, you know, scaffolding around the businesses

01:11to teach them how to build their businesses, build their startups.

01:18And oftentimes, like, you know, you're always trying to get a,

01:23you're vying for a seat at the table.

01:25Our whole philosophy is if you build your own table,

01:29you can invite whoever you want there.
