00:00We are launching a program called PPR, which is a quick win project.
00:13There are 64 houses involved in this program.
00:18We will carry out this program until December.
00:23Among the activities that we carry out today,
00:26for example, we carry out the Goto Royong,
00:28we carry out the activity of cutting down trees,
00:34lifting heavy vehicles, cars, motorcycles, etc.
00:40We cut down 86 trees in Primahan Awam Serikota.
00:51We have cut down 28 trees.
00:54We are also looking at other areas,
00:57following the phase.
00:58We will also hire contractors
01:01to implement the program of cutting down trees.
01:07Then planting trees.
01:08This is important because the trees that are cut down
01:11must be replaced in order to meet the needs
01:14of greenery and other programs related to carbon emissions.
01:21We have done this in several places.
01:25For example, in Primahan Awam Serikota,
01:27we have planted 116 trees.
01:31In PPR Seri Malaysia, we have planted 44 trees.
01:35We have identified the use of cars.
01:39We have identified that there are 447 vehicles.
01:46The number of vehicles that have been detected
01:49is 1,187, which means there are 1,634 vehicles.
01:54But we can't carry out,
01:57I mean, we can't just lift them up
01:59if we find the vehicles that have been detected.
02:01Because we have to have a due process.
02:03We plan to implement the cut-down trees
02:08in 30 areas.
02:10And God willing, we have implemented 20 areas.
02:12And God willing, we will do the rest
02:15until August 2024.
02:18To implement the cut-down trees,
02:20and this involves the community,
02:22and several NGOs and our strategic partners
02:25in implementing these welfare programs.
02:29This project or program will not succeed
02:31if it does not involve everyone.
02:34Everyone means the involvement of the DPKL
02:37or the authorities themselves,
02:39the authorities.
02:41Then the most important residents
02:43and other strategic partners.
02:45So we encourage each PPR
02:48so that the residents themselves can also play a role.
02:51Because we can make a program at once,
02:53but to maintain health
02:56or beauty and so on,
02:58it also needs the commitment of the residents.
03:01Thank you.
