00:57to get from my friends. They actually bought it for me. So I managed to get it. So I am
01:00excited finally getting to see him. We are actually very, very excited. We are looking
01:05forward to come because we missed the last concert. So we were actually looking forward
01:09to attend this round. I really hope he plays the songs that he played last year as well.
01:14We are the biggest fans of him. So we are really, really excited right now. We could
01:19have slept last night. We were like that excited.
01:21We are all from KL. So we are very, very excited. We came last year. So we hope this year will
01:50be better than last year. And we hope next year will be better than this year. There
01:53were some issues last year. Maybe it was too crowded. Maybe we were not prepared. But this
01:58year we are very prepared. The over three hour long Rahman Live in KL 2024 concert on Saturday
02:06brought nostalgia to the crowd with a high energy performance showcasing the Oscar winning
02:10music composers memorable hits from the 1990s. Organized by Star Planet, the event was also
02:21attended by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Deputy Minister of Entrepreneur
02:26Development and Cooperatives Datuk R. Ramanan. The concert, a mix of Hindi and Tamil songs,
02:32also featured performances by other popular singers including Rahman's son A. R. Amin.
02:39Rahman is no stranger to these shores. First performing in Malaysia at the Shah Alam Stadium in 1996.
