00:00Good afternoon, let's first update on the current time of the day of Monday, July 29, 2024.
00:07This is the low-pressure area that we are monitoring.
00:10The day before yesterday, at 3 o'clock in the afternoon,
00:13we were able to pass by the 335-kilometer-wide Hilagayan of Itbayat, Batanes.
00:19This low-pressure area remains a low-chance of having a typhoon
00:24and in the next 24 hours, it is possible for it to leave our Philippine area of responsibility
00:29or it may not be successful.
00:31Meanwhile, the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat,
00:34is the one that has an effect on the northern part of Luzon.
00:37And this Southwest Monsoon, we expect that it will bring scattered rains,
00:41lightning and thunderstorms here in the Ilocos region, in Benguet, and also in the Zambales area.
00:48For the time being, in Metro Manila and in our remote part of our country,
00:53we expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies and there are chances of localized thunderstorms.
00:58Our regional services division will continue to issue thunderstorm advisory,
01:04rainfall advisory, or heavy rainfall warning if necessary.
01:10For the time being, for the Luzon area,
01:14we expect that in the western section of the northern and central Luzon,
01:18particularly in the Ilocos region and also in the Zambales area,
01:22it will still be rainy for tomorrow in the Southwest Monsoon.
01:27In the eastern section of the southern Luzon, particularly in the Ilocos region,
01:32we also expect that it will be rainy.
01:35So be careful, our fellow Filipinos, that it rained the other day
01:38because of the flood or landslides.
01:42For the time being, in Metro Manila and in our remote part of our country,
01:47we expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies condition,
01:50there are chances of localized thunderstorms, especially in the afternoons and evenings.
01:56For the temperature in Metro Manila, in Lawag, Tuguegarao, and Legazpi,
02:01it will range from 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:06For Baguio, it will be 18 to 22 degrees Celsius,
02:09and for Tagaytay, it will be 24 to 31 degrees Celsius.
02:17For Puerto Princesa and Calean Islands, we expect 26 to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:24For the time being, in the Visayas area,
02:26we expect it will also be rainy in the eastern Visayas for tomorrow,
02:32and in the southern part of Visayas and in the Mindanao area,
02:36we expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with chances of localized thunderstorms,
02:40especially in the afternoons and evenings.
02:43For the temperature in Iloilo, Cebu, and Caguyendeoro,
02:47it will range from 26 to 32 degrees Celsius,
02:5125 to 31 degrees Celsius in Tacloban,
02:5425 to 32 degrees Celsius in Dabao,
02:58and 26 to 33 degrees Celsius in Zamboanga.

03:09For the three-day weather outlook of our major cities,
03:12we expect Metro Manila, Baguio, and Legazpi,
03:16to remain partly cloudy to cloudy skies,
03:19from Wednesday until Friday,
03:21because we do not see any possible weather system
03:25that will bring heavy rains and thunderstorms in those areas.
03:29For Metro Manila, the maximum temperature will reach 33 degrees Celsius in Baguio,
03:3417 to 22 degrees Celsius in Aguatan Temperatura,
03:38and 24 to 32 degrees Celsius in Legazpi.
03:43For the Visayas area and the major cities,
03:46we expect Metro Cebu, Iloilo City, Tacloban City,
03:50and a large portion of Iloilo, or a large portion of the Visayas area,
03:55to remain partly cloudy to cloudy skies,
03:58because we do not see any possible weather system
04:00that will bring heavy rains and thunderstorms in those areas.
04:06For Metro Cebu, the highest temperature
04:08for the next three days will reach 33 degrees Celsius.
04:14For Iloilo City, 26 to 33 degrees Celsius,
04:17and for Tacloban, 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.
04:23For Metro Davao, Cagayan de Oro, and Zamboanga City,
04:26we expect them to remain partly cloudy to cloudy skies,
04:29because we do not see any possible weather system
04:31that will bring heavy rains and thunderstorms in those areas.
04:33For Metro Davao, the highest temperature
04:35for the next three days will reach 33 degrees Celsius,
04:3825 to 33 degrees Celsius for Cagayan de Oro City,
04:42and for Zamboanga City, 25 to 33 degrees Celsius.
04:49For Kalakang Manila, the sun will set at 6.26 pm
04:53and will rise tomorrow at 5.39 am.
