Senate to start deliberations for proposed 2025 budget

00:26The Senate will start its budget deliberations for the proposed 2025 national budget next month

00:34or on August 13. This is what Senate President Francis Escudero's confirmation

00:40in an interview when asked on the Senate's priority.

00:48That's why governance is defined as allocating scarce resources.

01:00Escudero also confirmed that flood control's budget will be under scrutiny in light of the

01:07flooding in Metro Manila last week due to the typhoon.

02:10the PNP and NBI's budget should be slashed should they fail to apprehend the mayor.
