00:08The NEDA Board approved by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. the Philippine Health System Resilience Project.
00:15According to the President, the project aims to strengthen the government's commitment during the health emergency.
00:21The project's value is at Php 27.9 billion,
00:24where it will strengthen the health care system and capacity of 17 provinces,
00:29such as the construction of hospitals and other facilities, especially in remote areas.
00:35The project is anchored in the Philippine Development Plan.
00:38Meanwhile, the NEDA Board also approved the Mindanao Transport Connectivity Improvement Project
00:43that will benefit the transport networks in Mindanao.
00:46According to MMDA Chairman Don Artes, the owners of the vehicles in Metro Manila
00:54are not allowed to use public mass transport system.
00:57This is to help reduce the heavy traffic while Christmas is approaching.
01:02According to Artes, since the entry of the Vermonts,
01:05the traffic has been slowing down in the main streets of Metro Manila, especially in EDSA.
01:11According to MMDA, in September, there were 421,000 vehicles passing through EDSA every day.
01:18It is expected to increase by half a million by December.
