Spanish heat breaks maximum temperature record in Barcelona

Catalonia's regional weather agency Meteocat announced on its X account on Wednesday (July 31) that the region's capital Barcelona had broken its maximum temperature record on Tuesday (July 30) hitting 40C (104F). “Spending all this time in the heat is unbearable," said construction worker Roberto. - REUTERS
