00:00:00Lily was walking home from school one day when a huge portal opened up before her.
00:00:05She was curious, so she decided to walk through it.
00:00:09The portal took her straight to the castle of the Great Zormir,
00:00:12a cool magician that had harnessed the power of thousands of Philosopher's Stones.
00:00:17As soon as Lily crossed the portal, he closed it.
00:00:21He told the girl that she had been chosen to take part in a great quest
00:00:25and that she could only leave the castle if she agreed to play his game.
00:00:30She had to answer all of his riddles correctly, and only then he would let her go.
00:00:36For the first riddle, he showed her this image
00:00:39and asked her to figure out what word was hidden in this illusion.
00:00:42Can you help her out?
00:00:44It's the word sun.
00:00:53Way to go, both of you.
00:00:55Zormir liked to play with trickery and illusion, so for his next trick, he called a chef.
00:01:01The guy walked in with a cart filled with Spanish empanadas and Lily's mouth started watering.
00:01:07He told Lily that she had to eat all of the empanadas, except one,
00:01:12and that she should choose wisely, because that special empanada was poisoned.
00:01:17Take a look at the image.
00:01:19Can you help Li choose which one she shouldn't eat?
00:01:30Let's see.
00:01:31That one on the bottom left corner looks suspicious.
00:01:34It has a green fog coming out of it.
00:01:37It's probably from some heavy type of poison, isn't it?
00:01:42Lily got out of that one okay.
00:01:45Next, Zormir showed Lily a strange painting.
00:01:48He changed the image on the painting to show one of his illusions.
00:01:52Can you figure out which word is hidden here?
00:02:02It's the word never.
00:02:06To get to the next level, Lily had to guess the answer to this simple riddle.
00:02:10What has keys but can't open locks and speaks without a mouth?
00:02:14It took the girl a while to figure it out, but she got it right.
00:02:19Do you know what she answered?
00:02:28It's a piano.
00:02:32Lily was taken to an empty room in the castle.
00:02:35It had nothing except four doors.
00:02:38The great Zormir told Lily that she had to find a time machine behind one of these doors
00:02:43and left her a clue.
00:02:45Trust only one of the inscriptions and it will lead you to the treasure.
00:02:50On each door there was a sign.
00:02:53The sign on the door A said,
00:02:55It's behind B or C.
00:02:58The sign behind door B said,
00:03:00It's behind A or D.
00:03:03Door C said,
00:03:04It's in here.
00:03:05And door D claimed,
00:03:07It isn't here.
00:03:09Can you guess which door Lily opened?
00:03:21Let's see how this would work.
00:03:23If the time machine was behind door A, then both B and D would be true.
00:03:28But if it was behind door B, then both A and D would be true.
00:03:33If it was behind door C, then A, C and D are all true.
00:03:38But if the time machine was behind door D,
00:03:41then the statements on all the other doors were false,
00:03:44except for that on door B.
00:03:46This matched the rules, so it was behind door D.
00:03:51Lily opened the door and found the time machine.
00:03:54Next to it, there was a super modern digital lock asking for a code of access.
00:04:00The catch was, as well as numbers, there were emojis.
00:04:04Lily had no idea which combination to press,
00:04:07but she saw that Zormier left a clue on a paper note.
00:04:122 plus 2.
00:04:143 plus 3.
00:04:167 plus 7.
00:04:17Can you help Lily out here?
00:04:27This is a tricky one.
00:04:29What she needed to do is overlay the numbers on top of each other.
00:04:33Once she's done that, she should flip the numbers on the second row.
00:04:37This way she'd get the image of a fish, of the number 8, and of a triangle.
00:04:42So the correct combination to unlock it was
00:04:45the fish emoji, the number 8, and a triangle.
00:04:48Yikes.
00:04:49The great Zormier had set the time machine back to prehistoric ages,
00:04:55so Lily was zapped straight back to the ancient past.
00:04:59Take a look at the image.
00:05:01Can you spot the other time traveler in the picture?
00:05:12Ah, that's the one right there.
00:05:15He's holding a flashlight.
00:05:17I mean, those certainly didn't exist back in the day.
00:05:21Lily went to talk to the other time traveler
00:05:23to see if he knew how she could get back to her normal timeline.
00:05:27He would only answer her question if she answered his riddle correctly.
00:05:31He asked her,
00:05:32What has a heart that doesn't beat and a bank that doesn't hold a cent?
00:05:45She was extremely confused by this one,
00:05:48A deck of cards.
00:05:51The guy was impressed and told Lily that to go back to her normal timeline,
00:05:55she had to figure out what was hidden in another of Zormier's illusions.
00:06:00Can you guess what word is hidden here?
00:06:10It's the word dog.
00:06:12Way to go.
00:06:14Lily got back to her normal timeline,
00:06:16but instead of going back to the castle,
00:06:18she found herself stranded on a deserted island.
00:06:22There was a note from Zormier saying,
00:06:24The game is just getting started.
00:06:26You need to find the slang's witch and ask for her help.
00:06:30Take a look at the image.
00:06:32Can you find something that might help Lily find the witch?
00:06:43Ah, you sure have an eye for detail.
00:06:45There are four pieces of torn paper that together form a map.
00:06:49The map leads the way to the witch's abode.
00:06:52Walking through the forest on her way to the witch's house,
00:06:55Lily runs into a bear.
00:06:58She has to make a quick decision.
00:07:00She can either run away from the bear as fast as she can,
00:07:03or she can raise her hands and walk steadily backward until the bear is out of sight.
00:07:08What is Lily's best option?
00:07:19If she ran, the bear might feel under attack and end up hurting her.
00:07:23She should choose the second option.
00:07:26Finally, that looks like a witch's house.
00:07:30She knocks and the witch lets her inside.
00:07:33She asks the witch for help, but the witch is worried about something else.
00:07:38Earlier that day, she was working on a new love potion with the help of her elves.
00:07:43When she noticed that her precious hawk feather was missing,
00:07:47she asked if Lily could find out which elf had taken it.
00:07:50Lily said yes and began to interview the elves.
00:07:54Arian said that he was giving apples to the fairies halfway through the making of the potion,
00:07:59and that before that, he made sure that the witch had every ingredient she needed for the spell.
00:08:05Elowen said he was at another cauldron testing an anti-aging potion.
00:08:10He also said he was sure to see the feather before the witch started the job.
00:08:14Ellaria was sorting out the bad herbs from the herbs all afternoon
00:08:18and didn't notice anything weird going on in the house.
00:08:22Lily took some time to think about the elves' testimony
00:08:25and finally figured out the answer.
00:08:28Can you tell who did it?
00:08:37It wasn't any of the elves.
00:08:40Lily noticed that the feather had fallen down and was stuck in a crack on the floor.
00:08:46The witch must have let it fall down and didn't notice it on the floor.
00:08:51The witch was happy with Lily's help and told her she would help Lily run away from the great Zormir.
00:08:57She opened three portals and let Lily choose the one she wanted to go through.
00:09:02The first portal would lead Lily to New York City.
00:09:05The second portal would lead her directly to her school.
00:09:08And the last portal would lead her to a beautiful island in the Bahamas.
00:09:13Take a look at the image.
00:09:15Which portal should she choose?
00:09:19Well, it could be fun to visit New York City, but there's a huge snowstorm going on.
00:09:24And why would anyone want to go to an island surrounded by sharks?
00:09:28Lily should just go back to school.
00:09:31She skipped enough classes.
00:09:43The leader of the elves, the witch, had a plan.
00:09:47Believe it or not, this optical illusion will let you know if you should drive in the rain or not.
00:09:53Take a look at this image.
00:09:55Try to find the sequence of numbers hidden inside it.
00:09:58OK, go!
00:10:05Did you say 3,452,839?
00:10:11If you did, then your contrast sensitivity is on point!
00:10:15The so-called contrast sensitivity helps you to clearly see the outline of small objects.
00:10:21If this feature is not well developed in your system,
00:10:24then you shouldn't really drive in the rain or even when it's foggy out.
00:10:32Take a look at this image.
00:10:34What animal is not depicted here?
00:10:36A rabbit, a duck, or a snail?
00:10:46The picture definitely doesn't depict a snail.
00:10:49Way to go if you got that right!
00:10:56How many different scenes can you spot in this image?
00:10:59Three? Four? Take a guess.
00:11:08It's only two.
00:11:09You should be able to see the chalice in the first scene.
00:11:12And then, when you change your focus,
00:11:14you should be able to spot the profile of two faces with a white background.
00:11:24OK, take a look at both images.
00:11:26Can you tell if the circle on the right is larger than the circle on the left?
00:11:32Believe it or not, these two circles are actually the exact same size!
00:11:38This illusion is known as the Ebbinghaus illusion,
00:11:41and it was discovered by a German physiologist in the early 1900s.
00:11:46One of the possible explanations for why our brain glitches when looking at this image
00:11:51is due to the size of the external circles.
00:11:54Since the circles on the right are much larger than the circles on the left,
00:11:58they make the one from the right look smaller than the one on the left.
00:12:06Can you stare at this parrot's eye for 15 seconds?
00:12:10Just keep staring at it. I'll tell you when you can close your eyes.
00:12:15You're about to witness a great example of an afterimage.
00:12:19Three, two, one, and close your eyes.
00:12:29Now open your eyes.
00:12:43Can you see a red parrot?
00:12:45Isn't it amazing that even though this parrot is black and white,
00:12:48you have the illusion of seeing the color red?
00:12:51Again, this is just your brain trying to guess the color of something.
00:12:59Behind all of these little black dots, there's an image.
00:13:03Are you part of the 1% of people that can see it?
00:13:13It's a minion! Congrats if you spotted that.
00:13:19Here's another one in this style. Can you see what's hidden here?
00:13:29It's a ninja turtle! Honestly, did you need to be a bit of a ninja to see that one?
00:13:38And what about this one?
00:13:46My, my, it's Homer Simpson!
00:13:52So now there's something hidden behind black stripes.
00:13:55How's your x-ray vision working?
00:13:59You got it if you said it's one of the dragons from How to Train Your Dragon.
00:14:03That's cute.
00:14:09Can you tell which circle in this image is the darkest one?
00:14:20Uh-oh, that was totally a trick question.
00:14:23All the circles are red.
00:14:25Uh-oh, that was totally a trick question.
00:14:27All the circles are exactly the same color.
00:14:30This is a classic example of the saturation optical illusion.
00:14:34It shows how our brain perceives color in a very subjective way.
00:14:38The lighting and background of an object influence how we see it.
00:14:42So when the gray circle is put against a darker background,
00:14:45we tend to believe it's brighter than its true color.
00:14:48And vice versa.
00:14:51This illusion is called the Impossible Triangle.
00:14:55But wait, what makes it so impossible?
00:14:58You only have a few seconds to figure that out.
00:15:08The so-called Penrose Triangle is also known as the Impossible Triangle
00:15:13because it could never exist in reality.
00:15:17This magical triangle defies the laws of Euclidean geometry.
00:15:21If you follow the ball sliding on the surface of the triangle from the top point,
00:15:25you'll notice something strange.
00:15:28It looks like the left side of the triangle is extending away from the viewer,
00:15:32while the right side is closer to you.
00:15:35The Penrose Triangle is the type of geometrical figure
00:15:38that can only exist as an optical illusion
00:15:41because this is what it looks like if we dismember it.
00:15:45Not a triangle at all, huh?
00:15:51Take a look at this image.
00:15:53Which line do you think continues the black one?
00:15:56The red line or the blue line?
00:16:05As much as it looks like it's the blue line, it's actually the red line.
00:16:09This illusion was first talked about in the 1960s
00:16:12and it's called the Poggendorf illusion.
00:16:15This is a classic example of how our brain perceives geometric shapes and depth.
00:16:20According to scientists,
00:16:22our brain tries to perceive two-dimensional pictures with three-dimensional properties.
00:16:27This is why it distorts the depth between lines in this image.
00:16:31Pretty intense, huh?
00:16:36Take a look at this staircase.
00:16:39Now let's flip the image upside down.
00:16:41It still looks like a staircase,
00:16:43but instead of going from right to left,
00:16:45it looks like it's going from left to right.
00:16:48Don't blink though.
00:16:49If you blink, the illusion will disappear
00:16:51and you will be left with the original image.
00:17:00This illusion is known as Schroeder's staircase
00:17:03and it was invented by a German scientist, Heinrich Schroeder, back in 1858.
00:17:09It's really simple, but it talks about the same principle we saw in the previous illusion.
00:17:14If we dismember the staircase,
00:17:16you'll notice that the image is actually flat.
00:17:19What our brain perceives as a three-dimensional image
00:17:22is just a combination of shadow and light.
00:17:25This means that the 3D itself is already an optical illusion.
00:17:31This happens because our brain captures images
00:17:34and tries to fit them into what it already knows.
00:17:37It sees a shadow in a 2D image and it understands it as depth.
00:17:42Basically, it creates an unreal perspective of the object in front of our eyes.
00:17:47In this case, we call it a three-dimensional perspective.
00:17:54These circles seem to be moving pretty much everywhere they're told.
00:17:58Do you believe they are really moving?
00:18:01Or could we say that they're stationary?
00:18:08I know it's hard to believe, but they're not moving an inch.
00:18:12This illusion has baffled the Internet,
00:18:15but this is what's going on behind the scenes.
00:18:18There's a very, very thin inner and outer edge to these circles,
00:18:22and these edges are a different color than the bulk of the circle.
00:18:26To create the illusion, animators make these outer edges move,
00:18:30but since there's a variation in color,
00:18:32our brain interprets it as the entire circle moving.
00:18:37That's why even if we block the arrows,
00:18:40we still have the impression that the circles are moving.
00:18:47Take a look at this image.
00:18:49It looks like the square in the middle is breathing, right?
00:18:52Like it's growing in size and then shrinking.
00:18:55What if I told you that it's just rotating, but not changing in size?
00:19:06Here's what's happening.
00:19:07This illusion is called motion binding.
00:19:10It happens when our brain tries to predict
00:19:12the movement of one of the elements in the image.
00:19:15Crazy stuff!
00:19:20Let's try another one.
00:19:22Stare at the cross in the middle of this image for 10 seconds,
00:19:25starting now.
00:19:37Did all of the colors from the image fade away
00:19:40and all you could see was a white page?
00:19:43Bizarrely, our brain just erases all the nuanced colors
00:19:46and leaves you with a white screen.
00:19:52First up, we have what looks like a gray bar
00:19:54moving up and down on an orange background.
00:19:57But if you stare at this little black dot,
00:19:59you may see the gray bar turn into a different color.
00:20:03What color did you see?
00:20:07Blue.
00:20:11Did you say blue?
00:20:13Yep, that was it!
00:20:18There's a graphic city with a dot in the middle of it.
00:20:21Stare at this dot for around 10 seconds, starting now.
00:20:37Wow, what just happened?
00:20:39Even after the picture turns black and white,
00:20:42our brain is still able to perceive the original colors.
00:20:45This is another example of an afterimage.
00:20:48After we've fed our brain with a fixed image of something,
00:20:52when we turn it black and white,
00:20:54our brain is still trying to guess the colors of it.
00:20:59They say seeing is believing, but is it really?
00:21:02Optical illusions have a mind-boggling way to trick our brains.
00:21:05They use a combination of color, light, or particular patterns
00:21:08that can make us see things that aren't there.
00:21:11Today, we're taking our brains for a test drive
00:21:13and seeing how these illusions work.
00:21:15Let's start easy.
00:21:17Behind all of these little black dots, there's an image.
00:21:20Are you part of the 1% of people that can see it?
00:21:26It's a minion. Congrats if you spotted that.
00:21:29Here's another one in this style. Can you see what's hidden here?
00:21:36It's a ninja turtle.
00:21:39Honestly, you did need to be a bit of a ninja to see that one.
00:21:42And what about this one?
00:21:52It's Homer Simpson.
00:21:54So now there's something hidden behind black stripes.
00:21:57How's your x-ray vision working?
00:21:59You got it if you said it's one of the dragons from How to Train Your Dragon.
00:22:02That's cute.
00:22:04We're moving on to phase two, so this will get a little bit trickier.
00:22:07Okay?
00:22:09Your task is to find the fourth object in each image.
00:22:12You have seven seconds to spot all four items.
00:22:14Three, two, one, go.
00:22:16Your task is to find the fourth object in each image.
00:22:18You have seven seconds to spot all four items.
00:22:20Three, two, one, go.
00:22:32Hm. Did anyone find the straw by any chance?
00:22:35Hm. Did anyone find the straw by any chance?
00:22:45Anyways, could you spot the nail?
00:22:57What was hardest for you to find?
00:22:59The egg or the button?
00:23:01So now we're going to step up our game.
00:23:03This is medium level difficulty and you'll have seven seconds to find all four items.
00:23:07Ready? Go.
00:23:19Hm. Did anyone find the french fries?
00:23:21I sure didn't.
00:23:23Up next, four women and a baby.
00:23:25Yikes! This is hard.
00:23:27Could anyone spot the hair comb?
00:23:29Here's another one for you.
00:23:39Where on earth was that banana hiding?
00:23:41Good luck with this next one.
00:23:44Where on earth was that banana hiding?
00:23:47Good luck with this next one.
00:23:56So the envelope is hiding behind the bathroom pipe.
00:24:00I love black and white.
00:24:09But I'm still searching for that white egg if you ask me.
00:24:14If this were my room, my mom would be telling me to clean it up ASAP.
00:24:26It took me a while to find that little birdie, but the mission was successful.
00:24:31Good morning, y'all. Oh, bummer. I couldn't find the book. Could you?
00:24:44What object can't you find here?
00:24:55I had trouble locating the brush. Too many details, too little time.
00:25:00I have to say, you do have a pretty good eye for detail.
00:25:03But we're changing the game now.
00:25:05You know what they say.
00:25:07You need to keep changing the stimulus to make your brain work better and better.
00:25:10So now, it's emoji time.
00:25:13You'll have four seconds in this round.
00:25:23Did you see that one of them didn't have laughing tears?
00:25:26Where's the really sad emoji?
00:25:33And here I was thinking that clowns were supposed to be happy.
00:25:36I guess we all have our bad days, huh?
00:25:38What about this one?
00:25:44Oh, it's the browless one, isn't it?
00:25:47Can you spot the odd one?
00:25:54Oh, so it's a dairy-free burger.
00:25:57There's one with a different grim on its face.
00:26:03That's the one!
00:26:06I think your eyes are pretty warmed up now.
00:26:08So we'll move on to some hard-level optical illusions, okay?
00:26:12This first one is called the impossible triangle.
00:26:14But wait, what makes it so impossible?
00:26:17You have seven seconds to figure that out.
00:26:28The so-called Penrose Triangle is also known as the impossible triangle
00:26:31because it could never exist in reality.
00:26:34This magical triangle defies the laws of Euclidean geometry.
00:26:38If you follow the ball sliding on the surface of the triangle from the top point,
00:26:42you'll notice something strange.
00:26:44It looks like the left side of the triangle is extending away from the viewer,
00:26:47while the right side is closer to you.
00:26:50The Penrose Triangle is the type of geometrical figure
00:26:52that can only exist as an optical illusion
00:26:55because this is what it looks like if we dismember it.
00:26:58Not a triangle at all, huh?
00:27:02And this next illusion is called the Pac-Man Chaser.
00:27:04You'll see why.
00:27:05Stare at the central cross for five seconds.
00:27:08The image appears to be in motion, doesn't it?
00:27:10And you might also see a green disc appear in between the lilac spheres from time to time.
00:27:15Now, this image allows us to witness two illusions simultaneously.
00:27:19Firstly, although the image appears to be in continuous motion,
00:27:23nothing here is moving, we promise.
00:27:26This phenomenon is known as the phi phenomenon.
00:27:29It happens when stationary objects are placed side by side
00:27:32and illuminated rapidly one after another,
00:27:34creating an illusion of movement.
00:27:36Now look at the center of the image again.
00:27:38Can you see the green disc?
00:27:40This second illusion is called an afterimage,
00:27:43and this happens when your brain tries to substitute an item with something else
00:27:46as the original item disappears.
00:27:48But why is it green, you might ask?
00:27:50That's because green is lilac's complementary color.
00:27:53If we were to change the color of the disc to blue,
00:27:56then the color of the gap changes to yellow,
00:27:58which is blue's complementary color.
00:28:00Neat, right?
00:28:01Can you stare at this parrot's eye for 15 seconds?
00:28:04Just keep staring at it.
00:28:06I'll tell you when you can close your eyes.
00:28:08You're about to witness another example of an afterimage.
00:28:163, 2, 1, end.
00:28:18Close your eyes.
00:28:20Can you see a red parrot?
00:28:22Isn't it amazing that even though this parrot is black and white,
00:28:25you have the illusion of seeing the color red?
00:28:28Again, this is just your brain trying to guess the color of something.
00:28:32Don't these snakes move beautifully?
00:28:34Except that, um, they're actually stationary.
00:28:37This classic optical illusion is caused by repeating asymmetrical patterns
00:28:41together with specific color schemes.
00:28:43The illusion mixes lighter colors, like yellow and white,
00:28:46with darker shades of blue and black.
00:28:48This combination makes your retina send signals to your brain,
00:28:51claiming that these circles are moving.
00:28:53If you want to debunk this illusion and see things as they really are,
00:28:57you need to stare straight at one part of the image.
00:29:00This way, you'll see that the rotation will slowly come to a stop.
00:29:05Take a look at this image.
00:29:07It looks like the square in the middle is breathing, right?
00:29:10Like it's growing in size and then shrinking?
00:29:12What if I told you that it's just rotating, but not changing its size?
00:29:17Here's what's happening.
00:29:18This illusion is called motion binding.
00:29:20It happens when our brain tries to predict the movement of one of the elements in the image.
00:29:25Crazy stuff!
00:29:27This one's another example of a motion binding illusion.
00:29:31These four bars seem to be moving in parallel with each other.
00:29:34Right?
00:29:35Wrong!
00:29:36They are all part of the same moving square.
00:29:39Here's what's happening behind the scenes.
00:29:41Our brain just gets confused.
00:29:44How many bars can you count here?
00:29:46This illusion has left the internet baffled.
00:29:48People have counted as many as 11 bars,
00:29:50but most people count between 8 and 7 bars.
00:29:53According to the creator of this image,
00:29:55there are only 6 complete bars.
00:29:57Try counting from top to bottom,
00:29:59and you'll notice that the upper bars are real.
00:30:02But by the time you get to the 6th bar,
00:30:04things start to get blurry and confusing.
00:30:07That's because the last two bars are incomplete.
00:30:10So when you try making them out,
00:30:12they appear to multiply and only leave you more confused.
00:30:16If you trace your pointer down the 7th and 8th bars,
00:30:19you'll be able to see that they are incomplete.
00:30:21They were only put there to confuse you.
00:30:25Can you tell if the dark blue lines are parallel to each other or inclined?
00:30:29They sure look crooked, but in reality they are not.
00:30:32This classic optical illusion was first described over 100 years ago,
00:30:36but it wasn't until the 1970s that it got its current name,
00:30:39the café wall illusion.
00:30:41A guy named Steve Simpson noticed a similar effect
00:30:44on the wall of a café in Bristol,
00:30:46and here we are.
00:30:47Now let's see how this works.
00:30:49First let's blur the image a little bit.
00:30:51Oh, a little bit more.
00:30:53There you go.
00:30:54This way you'll be able to see that the dark blue lines are parallel to each other.
00:30:58If you look closely,
00:30:59the little black and white bricks at the intersection of wide lines
00:31:03are what makes this illusion possible.
00:31:05In addition to that,
00:31:06the curved elements inside the blue lines
00:31:09help to make the elusive effect even stronger.
00:31:12If you look at this image attentively,
00:31:14you'll notice a moving square that appears to be changing in tone.
00:31:18What shades do you see?
00:31:20Dark, then light, then dark again?
00:31:23Wrong.
00:31:24The square doesn't change at all.
00:31:26The creator of this illusion is Japanese psychologist and artist,
00:31:29Akiyoshi Kitaoka.
00:31:31According to him,
00:31:32you can see your own brain changing its guess about the color of the square.
00:31:35Color is already an illusion created by our brains.
00:31:38It so happens that color is created inside our visual systems.
00:31:42What our eyes perceive as blue
00:31:44is actually a wavelength that is reflected as that color.
00:31:47Moving on,
00:31:48take a look at this staircase.
00:31:50It looks pretty simple, right?
00:31:51Well, now let's flip the image upside down.
00:31:54It still looks like a staircase.
00:31:56But instead of going from right to left,
00:31:58it looks like it's going from left to right.
00:32:00But don't blink.
00:32:01If you blink,
00:32:02the illusion will disappear,
00:32:03and you will be left with the original image.
00:32:05Whoa.
00:32:06This illusion is known as Schroeder's staircase,
00:32:08and it was invented by German scientist Heinrich Schroeder back in 1858.
00:32:12It's simple,
00:32:13yet it reveals a fundamental mechanism of how our brain works.
00:32:16If we dismember the staircase,
00:32:18you'll notice that the image is flat.
00:32:20What our brain perceives as a 3D image
00:32:23is just a combination of shadow and light.
00:32:25This means that the 3D itself is already an optical illusion.
00:32:29This happens because our brain captures images
00:32:32and tries to fit them into what it already knows.
00:32:34So it sees a shadow in a 2D image
00:32:37and understands depth.
00:32:38Basically,
00:32:39it creates an unreal perspective of the object in front of our eyes.
00:32:42In this case,
00:32:43we call it a three-dimensional perspective.
00:32:46Up next,
00:32:47look at this black square crisscrossed with perpendicular white lines.
00:32:50If you look attentively,
00:32:52you'll notice that the white dots
00:32:54situated at the intersection of the grid
00:32:56shift their color from white to gray and back.
00:32:59When you concentrate on a particular dot,
00:33:02you see that it's white,
00:33:03but as soon as your attention wanders,
00:33:05the dot turns gray.
00:33:06That's the Hermann grid illusion.
00:33:08Amazing, isn't it?
00:33:11We can take this illusion one step further
00:33:13by positioning white dots at the intersection of gray lines.
00:33:16All are placed on top of the black background.
00:33:19If you look at this image long enough,
00:33:21you'll notice black dots starting to pop up at the intersections of the grid,
00:33:24creating a scintillating effect.
00:33:27Another name for this illusion
00:33:29is a simultaneous light contrast illusion.
00:33:32As you perceive the dots as white at one moment,
00:33:35and then, almost immediately,
00:33:37you see them as black.
00:33:38So why do our senses let us down
00:33:40by making us see gray or black instead of white?
00:33:42This illusion demonstrates one of the most important principles of human perception.
00:33:46You don't always see things for what they are.
00:33:48The retinal cells in our eyes act as light receptors.
00:33:51When only one receptor gets illuminated,
00:33:53it perceives more light than when its colleagues are also illuminated.
00:33:56This prevents the firing of nearby receptors.
00:33:59With the Hermann grid illusion,
00:34:01the white lines are arranged in such a way
00:34:03that there's more light around the intersections
00:34:05than along the lines themselves.
00:34:07Thus, the dots at the intersections are more inhibited,
00:34:10and you see darker spots.
00:34:12What do you say?
00:34:13Did your eyes pass the test?
00:34:15I guess mine did,
00:34:16but my brain is a little bit tired.
00:34:18See you next time.
00:34:19They say seeing is believing,
00:34:22but is it really so?
00:34:24Optical illusions have a mind-boggling way to trick our brains.
00:34:27They use a combination of colors,
00:34:29light,
00:34:30or particular patterns
00:34:31that can make us see things that aren't there.
00:34:34Today, we're taking our brains for a test drive
00:34:37to see how these illusions work.
00:34:39If you look at this image attentively,
00:34:41you'll notice a moving square that appears to be changing tones.
00:34:45What shades do you see?
00:34:46Dark,
00:34:47then light,
00:34:48then dark again?
00:34:49Wrong.
00:34:50The square doesn't change color at all.
00:34:53The creator of this illusion is a Japanese psychologist
00:34:56and artist, Akiyoshi Kitaoka.
00:34:58According to him,
00:34:59you can see your own brain changing its guess
00:35:02about the color of the square.
00:35:04Color is already an illusion created by our brains.
00:35:07It happens so that the color is created inside our visual systems.
00:35:11What our eyes perceive as blue
00:35:13is actually a wavelength that is reflected as that color.
00:35:18Neuroscientists say
00:35:19that about 50% of our brain is involved in the vision process.
00:35:23Visual signals are dispersed to more than 30 areas of our brain.
00:35:27Each area has a special function to process color,
00:35:30motion, depth, and form.
00:35:32All this information is combined,
00:35:34and voila!
00:35:35We can distinguish shape and color.
00:35:38Funnily enough,
00:35:39neuroscientists still don't understand the details of how all this happens,
00:35:43and neither do we,
00:35:44but we sure give it a try.
00:35:46Moving on,
00:35:47let's take a look at this staircase.
00:35:49It looks pretty simple, right?
00:35:51Well, now let's flip the image upside down.
00:35:54It still looks like a staircase,
00:35:56but instead of going from right to left,
00:35:58it looks like it's going from left to right.
00:36:00But don't blink.
00:36:01If you blink,
00:36:02the illusion will disappear,
00:36:03and you will be left with the original image.
00:36:06Whoa!
00:36:07I think my brain just got really tired.
00:36:10This illusion is known as Schroeder's staircase,
00:36:13and it was invented by a German scientist,
00:36:15Heinrich Schroeder,
00:36:16back in 1858.
00:36:18It's really simple,
00:36:19yet it reveals a fundamental mechanism of how our brain works.
00:36:22Let's understand why.
00:36:24If you sort of disassemble the staircase,
00:36:27you'll notice that the image is flat.
00:36:29What our brain perceives as a 3D image
00:36:31is just a combination of shadow and light.
00:36:34This means that the 3D itself
00:36:36is already an optical illusion.
00:36:39This happens because our brain captures images
00:36:42and tries to fit them into what it already knows,
00:36:45so it sees a shadow in a 2D image
00:36:47and it understands depth.
00:36:49Basically,
00:36:50it creates an unreal perspective of the object
00:36:52in front of our eyes.
00:36:54In this case,
00:36:55we call it a three-dimensional perspective.
00:36:58In 2020,
00:37:00Japanese mathematician,
00:37:01Kokichi Sugihara,
00:37:03took this illusion one step further.
00:37:05Let's take a look.
00:37:06At first glance,
00:37:07it looks just like a regular staircase.
00:37:10Again.
00:37:11But now,
00:37:12let's place an object at the top of the staircase
00:37:14and flip it at a 100-degree angle.
00:37:17I can't believe my eyes with this one.
00:37:19The object that appeared to be on top
00:37:21suddenly looks like it's at the bottom of the staircase.
00:37:24No wonder this work won Best Illusion of 2020.
00:37:27According to Sugihara,
00:37:29with this illusion,
00:37:30we are literally witnessing the way our brain tricks us
00:37:33into perceiving unreal things.
00:37:35At the heart of the illusion is a simple trick.
00:37:38The stairs aren't really stairs.
00:37:40They continue to be a flat 2D surface,
00:37:43making clever use of angles and shading
00:37:46to trick our brains.
00:37:47The 2D image was printed
00:37:49and glued into a basic 3D structure,
00:37:52but there is no real depth in the stairs,
00:37:54just the illusion of it.
00:37:56Got it?
00:37:58Look at this image for a moment
00:38:00and tell me how many bars you can count.
00:38:02This illusion has left the Internet baffled.
00:38:05People have counted as many as 11 bars,
00:38:07but most count about 7 to 8 bars.
00:38:10According to the creator of this image,
00:38:12there are only 6 complete bars.
00:38:14Try counting from top to bottom
00:38:16and you'll notice that the upper bars are real.
00:38:19But by the time you get to the 6th bar,
00:38:21things start to get blurry and confusing.
00:38:23That's because the last 2 bars are incomplete,
00:38:26so when you try to count them,
00:38:27they appear to multiply
00:38:29and only leave you more confused.
00:38:31If you trace your pointer down the 7th and 8th bar,
00:38:34you'll be able to see that they are incomplete.
00:38:37They were only put there to confuse you.
00:38:41Can you tell if the dark blue lines
00:38:43are parallel to each other
00:38:45or whether they're inclined?
00:38:47They sure look crooked,
00:38:48but in reality, they're not.
00:38:50This classical optical illusion
00:38:52was first described over 100 years ago,
00:38:55but it wasn't until the 1970s
00:38:57that it got its current name.
00:39:02A guy named Steve Simpson
00:39:03noticed a similar effect
00:39:04on the wall of a cafe in Bristol,
00:39:06and here we are.
00:39:08Now, let's see how this works.
00:39:11First, let's blur the image a little bit.
00:39:14Oh, a little bit more.
00:39:15There you go.
00:39:16This way, you'll be able to see
00:39:17that the dark blue lines
00:39:19are parallel to each other.
00:39:20If you look closely,
00:39:22the little black and white bricks
00:39:23at the intersection of white lines
00:39:25are what made this illusion possible.
00:39:28In addition to that,
00:39:29the curved elements inside the blue lines
00:39:31help to make the elusive effect even stronger.
00:39:34We'll understand why in a little bit.
00:39:38Up next, look at this black square
00:39:40crisscrossed with perpendicular white lines.
00:39:43If you look attentively,
00:39:44you'll notice that the white dots
00:39:46situated at the intersection of the grid
00:39:48shift their color from white to gray and black.
00:39:51When you concentrate on a particular dot,
00:39:53you'll see that it's white,
00:39:55but as soon as your attention wanders,
00:39:57the dot turns gray.
00:39:59That's the Hermann grid illusion.
00:40:01Amazing, isn't it?
00:40:03We can take this illusion one step further
00:40:05by positioning white dots
00:40:07at the intersection of gray lines.
00:40:09All of them are placed
00:40:10on top of the black background.
00:40:12If you look at this image for long enough,
00:40:14you'll notice black dots
00:40:15starting to pop up
00:40:16at the intersections of the grid,
00:40:18creating a scintillating effect.
00:40:21Another name for this illusion
00:40:22is a simultaneous light contrast illusion.
00:40:25As you perceive the dots as white at one moment,
00:40:28and then, almost immediately,
00:40:30you see them as black.
00:40:32So, why do our senses let us down
00:40:34by making us see gray or black instead of white?
00:40:38This illusion demonstrates
00:40:40one of the most important principles
00:40:42of human perception.
00:40:43You don't always see things
00:40:45for what they really are.
00:40:47The retinal cells in our eyes
00:40:49act as light receptors.
00:40:51When only one cell receptor gets illuminated,
00:40:54it perceives more light
00:40:55than when its colleagues are also illuminated.
00:40:58This prevents the firing of nearby receptors.
00:41:01With the Hermann grid illusion,
00:41:03the white lines are arranged
00:41:04in such a way that there's more light
00:41:06around the intersections
00:41:08than along the lines themselves.
00:41:10Thus, the dots at the intersections
00:41:12are more inhibited,
00:41:13and you see darker spots.
00:41:16This next illusion is called
00:41:18the Pac-Man chaser.
00:41:19You'll see why.
00:41:20Stare at the central cross for five seconds.
00:41:27The image appears to be in motion, doesn't it?
00:41:29And you might also see a green disc appear
00:41:32in between the lilac spheres from time to time.
00:41:35Now, this image allows us to witness
00:41:37two illusions simultaneously.
00:41:39Even though the image appears to be
00:41:41in continuous motion,
00:41:42nothing here is moving.
00:41:44We promise.
00:41:45This phenomenon is known as the phi phenomenon.
00:41:48It happens when stationary objects
00:41:50are placed side by side
00:41:52and illuminated rapidly
00:41:53one after the other,
00:41:55creating an illusion of movement.
00:41:57Now look at the center of the image again.
00:42:00Can you see the green disc?
00:42:02This illusion is called an afterimage,
00:42:05and this happens when your brain
00:42:06tries to substitute an item
00:42:08with something else
00:42:09as the original item disappears.
00:42:11But why is it green, you might ask.
00:42:13That's because green is lilac's
00:42:15complementary color.
00:42:17If we were to change the color
00:42:18of the disc to blue,
00:42:20then the color of the gap
00:42:21changes to yellow,
00:42:23which is blue's complementary color.
00:42:25Neat, right?
00:42:27This fresh set of optical illusions
00:42:29will definitely challenge
00:42:30your visual perception.
00:42:32If your brain isn't happy
00:42:33when you look at things
00:42:34that spin and flash,
00:42:35be careful and get somebody
00:42:37to watch this astonishing
00:42:38illusionary art with you.
00:42:40Ready?
00:42:41Go full screen,
00:42:42and let's get started.
00:42:44Take a look at this pair of circles.
00:42:54It's not an illusion.
00:42:55They're identical,
00:42:56and they do rotate.
00:42:58But they don't actually move
00:43:00across the screen.
00:43:01The arrows confuse your brain,
00:43:03so it seems that the circles
00:43:04are shrinking and even
00:43:05moving back and forth.
00:43:07If you manage to focus
00:43:08your gaze so that they
00:43:09stop moving,
00:43:10you're a wizard.
00:43:12What about this shining star?
00:43:15Is it static or dynamic?
00:43:26Although the star seems
00:43:27to be pulsing,
00:43:28its size doesn't change at all.
00:43:31But its popping color
00:43:32creates an illusion of movement.
00:43:35Let's move on to our next one.
00:43:37Check this out.
00:43:38Can you spot any movement?
00:43:49This picture is static.
00:43:51But if you take your time
00:43:52to look at these flowers carefully,
00:43:54your brain will definitely
00:43:55convince you that they're moving.
00:43:58What about this picture?
00:44:03The direction of this pattern
00:44:05makes the brain think that
00:44:06the circle is rotating to the left.
00:44:08But it's a lie.
00:44:10The same goes for this cute pattern.
00:44:22Can you see it spinning around?
00:44:25What about this picture?
00:44:27Can you spot any movement?
00:44:33Well, in this case,
00:44:35it's not surprising because
00:44:36this image is animated.
00:44:38An optical illusion is not
00:44:39always an optical illusion,
00:44:41so be careful.
00:44:43Let's take a look at the next one.
00:44:46This star seems to be dancing
00:44:48because its asymmetrical shape
00:44:49confuses your brain's expectations.
00:44:52Maybe it's time to ask ourselves,
00:44:54what else is my brain
00:44:55lying to me about right now?
00:44:58What do you think?
00:45:00Let us know in the comments.
00:45:15What can you say about
00:45:16this beautiful pattern?
00:45:18Is it just a basic optical illusion
00:45:20or an animated video?
00:45:30That's right, it's an animation!
00:45:33Here's our next one.
00:45:35If you focus all your attention
00:45:37on the middle of this picture,
00:45:38it will soon begin to move.
00:45:46But, in fact, it stays the same.
00:45:49Don't let your brain
00:45:50play tricks on you.
00:45:52Your perception of this image
00:45:53may change if you blink
00:45:54a bunch of times
00:45:55and shake your head.
00:45:57Moving on,
00:45:58take a look at this tricky pattern.
00:46:00Is this image static?
00:46:11Yes, it truly is.
00:46:13Some optical illusions
00:46:14work by fooling around
00:46:15with contrasts
00:46:16in our field of vision.
00:46:27These two circles
00:46:28consist of small
00:46:29rotating striped circles.
00:46:31They appear to change
00:46:32the direction of rotating
00:46:34thanks to how our brains
00:46:35deal with information
00:46:36immediately within our focus.
00:46:38It's different from the way
00:46:39our brain works.
00:46:42It's different from the way
00:46:43it processes peripheral information.
00:46:45You can see it
00:46:46when you focus on one circle
00:46:47and then on another.
00:46:49Are you dizzy yet?
00:46:51Let's move on to the next one.
00:46:53Zigzag is a great tool
00:46:54to create a bunch
00:46:55of optical illusions
00:46:56that can make you feel
00:46:57like you're flying.
00:46:59But this particular
00:47:00zigzag pattern is animated.
00:47:02Is it?
00:47:12Nope.
00:47:13It's a static picture.
00:47:14Be careful with zigzags.
00:47:16The next optical illusion
00:47:17will make you see
00:47:18with your eyes closed.
00:47:20All you have to do
00:47:21is stare at this
00:47:22Marilyn Monroe's nose
00:47:24at the center of this portrait.
00:47:26Continue staring
00:47:27at the same spot
00:47:28for at least 7 seconds
00:47:30and try not to blink.
00:47:31Ready?
00:47:327
00:47:336
00:47:345
00:47:354
00:47:363
00:47:372
00:47:381
00:47:40Now take a look at your ceiling
00:47:41and blink a bunch of times.
00:47:43Close your eyes.
00:47:44Can you still see the portrait?
00:47:46Don't worry.
00:47:47It'll disappear in a few seconds.
00:47:49This optical illusion
00:47:50is called an afterimage.
00:47:52It appears after
00:47:53you've stared at an image
00:47:54for some time.
00:47:56Usually it requires
00:47:57around 30 seconds.
00:47:59Then you close your eyes
00:48:00or look at a white piece
00:48:01of paper afterwards.
00:48:03Overstimulation makes
00:48:04the rods and cones
00:48:05in your eyes
00:48:06lose sensitivity.
00:48:08That's why for a short
00:48:09period afterward
00:48:10you interpret colors
00:48:11as their paired primary color.
00:48:14Now let's take a look
00:48:15at this tricky pattern.
00:48:17Is this image static
00:48:18or dynamic?
00:48:28It's not an optical illusion.
00:48:31This pattern is animated.
00:48:33If you managed to guess,
00:48:34great job!
00:48:36Now let's take a look
00:48:37at this one.
00:48:38Do these spheres
00:48:39move across the screen?
00:48:50Nope, they don't.
00:48:52If you were careful enough,
00:48:53you noticed the top moving
00:48:54when you squinted
00:48:55and concentrated
00:48:56on the spheres.
00:48:58This optical illusion
00:48:59is static.
00:49:08But if you take your time
00:49:09and focus on the center
00:49:10of the screen,
00:49:11it will begin to rotate.
00:49:13Let's move on
00:49:14to our next one.
00:49:15This optical illusion
00:49:16will make you feel
00:49:17like a magician
00:49:18and level up
00:49:19your concentration skills.
00:49:21At this point,
00:49:22you probably see
00:49:23that the static circles
00:49:24begin to move,
00:49:25pop and spin slightly.
00:49:27But which way?
00:49:38There's no right answer here.
00:49:41The largest circle
00:49:42probably spins to the left.
00:49:44But if you switch your focus
00:49:46to the center of the image,
00:49:47the same circle
00:49:48will begin to spin
00:49:49to the right.
00:49:50The movement will change
00:49:52depending on which layer
00:49:53of this image
00:49:54you're currently focusing on.
00:49:57Arrows inside
00:49:58these colorful circles
00:49:59may confuse your vision.
00:50:08Try not to look at them,
00:50:09and you'll notice
00:50:10that the circles
00:50:11inside this illusion
00:50:12aren't changing their shape
00:50:13or moving at all.
00:50:15It's pretty clear
00:50:16that this crazy watermelon
00:50:18isn't spinning.
00:50:19Isn't it?
00:50:29Nope.
00:50:30If you screw up with your eyes,
00:50:32you can verify this
00:50:33by focusing your gaze
00:50:34on the sphere.
00:50:37See?
00:50:38It doesn't move anymore.
00:50:40This figure can begin
00:50:41to move like a snake,
00:50:42and the black points
00:50:43will begin to blink white.
00:50:54But don't let your brain fool you.
00:50:56This image is still the same.
00:50:58Are you dizzy yet?
00:51:00Let's experiment
00:51:01with disappearing dots.
00:51:03Focus on the central green dot.
00:51:05Try not to blink for a while.
00:51:16You will see
00:51:17one or more of the yellow dots
00:51:19disappearing
00:51:20and then reappearing randomly.
00:51:22Here's another illusion
00:51:24with disappearing dots.
00:51:26Thousands of people worldwide
00:51:27complained that
00:51:28this simple optical illusion
00:51:29had made them question reality.
00:51:32There are 12 black dots
00:51:33at the intersections of this image,
00:51:35but your brain won't let you
00:51:36see them all at once.
00:51:38Well, how many dots did you count?
00:51:49There are 12 black dots
00:51:50in this image,
00:51:51and it's a fact.
00:51:53But most people can't see
00:51:54all 12 dots at once.
00:51:56When you're focusing
00:51:57on that black dot
00:51:58in the center of your field of view,
00:52:00your visual system
00:52:01is automatically filling in
00:52:02what's going on around it.
00:52:04And this regular pattern
00:52:05of gray lines
00:52:06on a white background
00:52:07makes your brain suggest
00:52:08that there are
00:52:09no black dots at all.
00:52:11That's why you miss
00:52:12the intermittent black dots,
00:52:14or they disappear
00:52:15and reappear
00:52:16as your eye jitters around.
00:52:18This cute animation
00:52:19is also very tricky.
00:52:22It pictures a moon
00:52:23and six stars surrounding it.
00:52:25There's also
00:52:26a dotted circular layer
00:52:27moving in the background.
00:52:29Try not to move your head at all.
00:52:31If you manage to focus
00:52:32your eyes on the moon
00:52:33and stay perfectly still,
00:52:35you'll soon notice
00:52:36that the stars
00:52:37begin to disappear.
00:52:39How many of them
00:52:40did you make disappear?
00:52:50There's no one
00:52:51correct answer here.
00:52:52The number of disappeared stars
00:52:54depends on your perception.
00:52:56This tricky wheel
00:52:57can make your brain think
00:52:58that it rotates,
00:53:00but it's a lie.
00:53:10You may notice
00:53:11that the wheel
00:53:12changes the direction
00:53:13when you tilt your head
00:53:14to the right or to the left.
00:53:16This trick will make
00:53:17your hands melt like water.
00:53:19Don't worry,
00:53:20it's not forever.
00:53:21Keep staring at the center
00:53:22of the screen for 30 seconds.
00:53:24Try not to blink.
00:53:30Try not to blink.
00:53:55Now take a look
00:53:56at your hands.
00:53:57Are they melting?
00:53:58You can also look
00:53:59at some text
00:54:00and notice
00:54:01that your vision is wavy.
00:54:03Take a look
00:54:04at this tricky optical illusion.
00:54:05What can you say
00:54:06about this wheel?
00:54:07Is it static or dynamic?
00:54:18It's static.
00:54:19Your brain plays tricks on you.
00:54:22Now let's give your eyes
00:54:23a little break
00:54:24by changing the task.
00:54:25Can you spot
00:54:26an odd monkey out?
00:54:30Here it is.
00:54:32Can you find
00:54:33a different monster out?
00:54:44This guy in the right corner
00:54:45doesn't look as happy
00:54:46as the others.
00:54:48There are many zeros in here.
00:54:50Can you also see
00:54:51another hidden number?
00:54:56Here it is.
00:54:57Does this pattern
00:54:58consist of red apples only?
00:55:11Nope.
00:55:12Here's one tomato.
00:55:14Can you find
00:55:15two similar emojis
00:55:16among this variety?
00:55:18Here it is.
00:55:19Can you find
00:55:20two similar emojis
00:55:21among this variety?
00:55:23Nope.
00:55:24Here's one tomato.
00:55:26Among this variety.
00:55:36Here they are.
00:55:38What about this set of emojis?
00:55:40Can you see
00:55:41two identical emojis?
00:55:51Here they are.
00:55:53Take a look
00:55:54at these emojis.
00:55:55Are they all different?
00:56:05Nope.
00:56:06These two emojis
00:56:07are similar.
00:56:09How many emojis
00:56:10can you find
00:56:11among this variety?
00:56:21There are three.
00:56:23What about this collection?
00:56:24Can you spot
00:56:25any identical emojis here?
00:56:36This task is tricky.
00:56:37All these emojis
00:56:38are different.
00:56:39If you managed
00:56:40to crack our trick,
00:56:41good job!
00:56:43Take a look at this set.
00:56:45Can you find
00:56:46a pair of identical emojis?
00:56:55Nope.
00:56:56It's impossible
00:56:57because these two
00:56:58are similar.
00:57:00Does this cat crowd
00:57:01have any odd details?
00:57:10This guy over here
00:57:11is not a cat.
00:57:12It's a rabbit.
00:57:14Can you find
00:57:15a four-leaf clover in here?
00:57:25Here it is.
00:57:26Lucky you!
00:57:29Get ready for a new set
00:57:30of absolutely amazing
00:57:31optical illusions.
00:57:33Concentrate hard
00:57:34and don't let them trick you.
00:57:36Number one.
00:57:37Look at these circles
00:57:38attentively
00:57:39and you'll notice
00:57:40they're rotating.
00:57:48But that's just an illusion.
00:57:50The circles are
00:57:51completely still.
00:57:52Number two.
00:57:53Which is bigger?
00:57:54The hat's height
00:57:55or its width?
00:58:04They're absolutely the same.
00:58:06Your eyes are playing
00:58:07tricks on you.
00:58:09Number three.
00:58:10Which tower is leaning more?
00:58:19Ha!
00:58:20Look at that!
00:58:21They're the same.
00:58:22Even though one tower
00:58:23seems to be lopsided
00:58:24when placed next
00:58:25to a copy of itself,
00:58:26this is called
00:58:27the leaning tower illusion.
00:58:30Number four.
00:58:31How many colors
00:58:32do you see in this image?
00:58:41However many you might see,
00:58:43in reality,
00:58:44there are only three.
00:58:46Number five.
00:58:47The patterns in this picture
00:58:48seem to be moving.
00:58:52But once you focus
00:58:53on one of the ovals,
00:58:54the whole image
00:58:55becomes still.
00:58:57Number six.
00:58:58What do you see
00:58:59in this picture?
00:59:00A moving star?
00:59:07Well,
00:59:08the star part is correct,
00:59:09but in reality,
00:59:10it's a static image.
00:59:12Once again,
00:59:13if you concentrate
00:59:14on any of its parts,
00:59:15the picture will stop.
00:59:17Number six.
00:59:18How many stars
00:59:19do you see
00:59:20in this picture?
00:59:22Well,
00:59:23in reality,
00:59:24there are only three.
00:59:25But once you focus
00:59:26on one of the ovals,
00:59:27the picture will stop moving.
00:59:29Number seven.
00:59:30It seems as if
00:59:31there are three cylinders
00:59:32in this image,
00:59:33and they're all rotating.
00:59:40But you know what to do.
00:59:41Stare at the center
00:59:42of the picture
00:59:43and all the movement
00:59:44will stop.
00:59:46Number eight.
00:59:47Which pencil is longer?
00:59:50They are of the same length.
00:59:53Number nine.
00:59:54Can you find three animals
00:59:55in this picture?
01:00:04Three bunnies are hiding
01:00:05in the tree branches.
01:00:07Number ten.
01:00:08Look at this rotating thingy.
01:00:18There's no doubt
01:00:19that this is a 3D image,
01:00:20but in reality,
01:00:21it's just a set
01:00:22of rotating figures
01:00:23that creates such
01:00:24a three-dimensional effect.
01:00:26Number eleven.
01:00:27Look at the screen
01:00:28and move your head
01:00:29forward and backward
01:00:30while focusing
01:00:31on the center of the image.
01:00:40When you come closer,
01:00:41the lines will seem
01:00:42to rotate counterclockwise.
01:00:44As soon as you start
01:00:45to move away from the image,
01:00:46the lines will rotate
01:00:47clockwise.
01:00:49Number twelve.
01:00:50There is something
01:00:51hidden in this grid.
01:00:52Can you figure out
01:00:53what it is?
01:01:01If you can't spot it,
01:01:02try to shake your head,
01:01:03move further from the screen,
01:01:05or screw up your eyes.
01:01:07And just in case
01:01:08it hasn't helped either,
01:01:09let me make the grid
01:01:10less bright.
01:01:11Here we go.
01:01:12A lovely kitty.
01:01:14Number fourteen.
01:01:15Can you figure out
01:01:16which word is hidden here?
01:01:20That's bedside.
01:01:23Number fifteen.
01:01:24Look at this image
01:01:25and say which string
01:01:26is tied to the banana.
01:01:36I was almost sure
01:01:37it was string number two,
01:01:38but in fact,
01:01:39that's the third one.
01:01:41Number sixteen.
01:01:42Which word is brighter?
01:01:44That's bedside.
01:01:46Number fifteen.
01:01:47Can you figure out
01:01:48which word is brighter?
01:01:57If you remove the grid,
01:01:58it'll become obvious
01:01:59that both words
01:02:00are of the same color.
01:02:02Number seventeen.
01:02:03Each horizontal band
01:02:04seems to be lighter
01:02:05in the middle
01:02:06and darker near the boundaries.
01:02:14But in reality,
01:02:15all of them
01:02:16are of a uniform shade.
01:02:18Number eighteen.
01:02:19Which line is longer?
01:02:20A or B?
01:02:30They're both of the same length.
01:02:32This illusion is created
01:02:33because your mind perceives
01:02:34this image in 3D space.
01:02:36That's why your brain
01:02:37tells you that the line
01:02:38which is closer to you
01:02:39must be shorter
01:02:40than the more distant one.
01:02:42Number nineteen.
01:02:43Are the woman's eyes
01:02:44of the same color?
01:02:48In fact,
01:02:49they are.
01:02:50You can make sure of it
01:02:51by comparing the color
01:02:52of her eyes
01:02:53and the hair accessory.
01:02:55Number twenty.
01:02:56At first sight,
01:02:57it's just a red fan
01:02:58rotating over
01:02:59a bright green background.
01:03:01But try to concentrate
01:03:02on the black dot
01:03:03in the middle.
01:03:04You'll notice that
01:03:05the green under the fan
01:03:06is brighter than that
01:03:07of the surrounding ring.
01:03:09And the fan blades
01:03:10are actually redder
01:03:11than the central disc.
01:03:13Number twenty-one.
01:03:14Which line is darker?
01:03:18These two discs
01:03:19are pulsating,
01:03:20changing between
01:03:21dark and light.
01:03:22But are they doing it
01:03:23at the same time?
01:03:25Keep watching
01:03:26and you'll see that
01:03:27it depends on the background.
01:03:28When it's light,
01:03:29the discs pulsate in sync.
01:03:31But when one part
01:03:32of the background is light
01:03:33and the other is dark,
01:03:34the discs seem to pulse
01:03:35not simultaneously.
01:03:37Number twenty-two.
01:03:38Which word is hidden
01:03:39in this image?
01:03:49That's the word
01:03:50quality.
01:03:52Number twenty-three.
01:03:53Which creature
01:03:54has a longer mouth?
01:03:55Yellow or green?
01:04:04Their mouths
01:04:05are of the same length.
01:04:07Number twenty-four.
01:04:08How about this picture?
01:04:09Which word
01:04:10does it hide?
01:04:18High five
01:04:19if you spotted the word
01:04:20quite.
01:04:21Number twenty-five.
01:04:22That's how a set
01:04:23of simple straight lines
01:04:24can trick your brain.
01:04:32The square made up
01:04:33of vertical lines
01:04:34looks wider and shorter
01:04:35than the one formed
01:04:36of horizontal lines.
01:04:39Number twenty-six.
01:04:40Look at this pyramid
01:04:41made of elongated diamonds.
01:04:43Are these diamonds
01:04:44darker at the top
01:04:45or at the bottom
01:04:46of the pyramid?
01:04:49All diamonds
01:04:50are identical,
01:04:51even though it surely
01:04:52doesn't look like that.
01:04:53But once we start
01:04:54moving around them
01:04:55this way
01:04:56and comparing them
01:04:57with one another,
01:04:58it becomes obvious.
01:05:00Number twenty-seven.
01:05:01Find three animals
01:05:02hidden in this image.
01:05:13Right you are.
01:05:14There are three fossils
01:05:15in this pyramid.
01:05:16Right you are.
01:05:17There are three foxes
01:05:18over there in the tree.
01:05:20Number twenty-eight.
01:05:21Look at the wheel
01:05:22moving behind
01:05:23the red picket fence.
01:05:24Its spokes
01:05:25seem to be bent
01:05:26at the bottom.
01:05:34There's nothing wrong
01:05:35with the wheel
01:05:36and the spokes
01:05:37are perfectly straight.
01:05:38Wanna make sure?
01:05:39Look,
01:05:40the fence is becoming
01:05:41transparent.
01:05:42Here you go.
01:05:43Number twenty-nine.
01:05:44Now,
01:05:45this wheel seems
01:05:46to be rotating clockwise
01:05:47and the spokes
01:05:48are moving
01:05:49counterclockwise.
01:05:50But if you look
01:05:51at one of the spokes
01:05:52attentively,
01:05:53you'll notice
01:05:54it's actually
01:05:55staying in one place.
01:05:56Or rather,
01:05:57it makes a tiny shift
01:05:58forward and then
01:05:59returns to its place.
01:06:00Number thirty.
01:06:01Which word
01:06:02is hidden
01:06:03in this image?
01:06:12It's feather.
01:06:14Number thirty-one.
01:06:15What do you see
01:06:16in this picture?
01:06:25There's no definite
01:06:26answer here.
01:06:27Some people notice
01:06:28footprints,
01:06:29others,
01:06:30five bowling pins.
01:06:31Number thirty-two.
01:06:32How about
01:06:33this picture?
01:06:34Are those
01:06:35three pairs
01:06:36of alternating
01:06:37grooves and ridges?
01:06:38Or maybe you see
01:06:39three shiny oval tubes?
01:06:44The main trick
01:06:45is that
01:06:46the right side
01:06:47of the image
01:06:48looks like
01:06:49a folded surface
01:06:50and the left
01:06:51resembles the tubes.
01:06:52Number thirty-three.
01:06:53Which word
01:06:54do you see here?
01:07:03It's the word
01:07:04change.
01:07:05Number thirty-four.
01:07:06Look at the blue lines.
01:07:07They seem to be
01:07:08moving in pairs.
01:07:09Maybe you see
01:07:10a pair of
01:07:12tubes moving
01:07:13in pairs.
01:07:19And how about now?
01:07:20They suddenly form
01:07:21an outline
01:07:22of a diamond.
01:07:23Number thirty-five.
01:07:24These wooden
01:07:25railroad tracks
01:07:26seem to be
01:07:27different in size.
01:07:35The lower one
01:07:36looks larger
01:07:37than the one
01:07:38at the top.
01:07:39But if we switch them,
01:07:40it becomes obvious
01:07:41that they are identical
01:07:42in size.
01:07:43Number thirty-six.
01:07:44Do these horizontal lines
01:07:45seem parallel to you?
01:07:54And what if I tell you
01:07:55they are?
01:07:56And what you see
01:07:57is just an illusion.
01:07:59Number thirty-seven.
01:08:00Try to figure out
01:08:01which line
01:08:02is longer here.
01:08:11If your answer is
01:08:12Come on,
01:08:13I know they're of
01:08:14the same length.
01:08:15You're absolutely right.
01:08:17Number thirty-eight.
01:08:18Can you see
01:08:19anything unusual
01:08:20in this picture?
01:08:29There's a dalmatian
01:08:30hiding here.
01:08:32Number thirty-nine.
01:08:33There seems to be
01:08:34a bulge in the middle
01:08:35of this checkerboard.
01:08:42But in reality,
01:08:43this checkerboard
01:08:44is regular,
01:08:45and each of its checks
01:08:46is perfectly square.
01:08:47You'll see it
01:08:48once we remove
01:08:49the tiny black
01:08:50and white ticks.
01:08:52Number forty.
01:08:53The blue horizontal stripes
01:08:54in this picture
01:08:55can't be parallel, right?
01:09:04But if we remove
01:09:05all the additional elements,
01:09:06it'll become apparent
01:09:07that the lines
01:09:08are not oblique.
01:09:12Look at the dot
01:09:13in the center
01:09:14for ten seconds.
01:09:25Three,
01:09:26two,
01:09:27one.
01:09:28Now, quickly look
01:09:29at the ceiling
01:09:30and blink a few times.
01:09:31The colored squares
01:09:32have just moved there.
01:09:33What a beautiful pattern
01:09:34of rectangles.
01:09:35Let's take a look
01:09:36at the blue rectangle
01:09:37in the center
01:09:38for ten seconds.
01:09:42But just give it
01:09:43a second look,
01:09:44and you'll see
01:09:45they are, in fact,
01:09:46circles floating
01:09:47against the striped background.
01:09:48Stare at the central dot
01:09:49for ten seconds
01:09:50and see what happens.
01:10:01Wow!
01:10:02The colored circles
01:10:03switch places.
01:10:04In fact,
01:10:05they're both gray now,
01:10:06and your brain
01:10:07makes you see colors
01:10:08that aren't really there.
01:10:09This illusion
01:10:10will make your phone grow.
01:10:11Stare at it.
01:10:12Magic is happening.
01:10:13Keep staring.
01:10:15Now, quickly look
01:10:16at the back of your phone.
01:10:17The logo is moving.
01:10:19How many colors
01:10:20do you see in this image?
01:10:22If you answered three,
01:10:23you're a bit wrong.
01:10:24There are just
01:10:25two colors here,
01:10:26black and white.
01:10:27The grid creates
01:10:28the illusion of gray
01:10:29as they intersect.
01:10:31What about this one?
01:10:33There are just
01:10:34three colors here,
01:10:35red, blue, and yellow.
01:10:36The inner squares
01:10:37only seem different
01:10:38because of the grids
01:10:39and different backgrounds.
01:10:41This grid is broken,
01:10:42but you can fix it right now.
01:10:44Stare at the center of the grid
01:10:45for 15 seconds
01:10:46and see what happens.
01:11:00Told ya!
01:11:01It all looks in order now.
01:11:03This happens because
01:11:04your brain prefers
01:11:05to see regular patterns.
01:11:06It's spread from the center
01:11:07to the edges of the grid.
01:11:09This image is
01:11:10perfectly static.
01:11:11Just stare at one part of it.
01:11:13Yup, it isn't moving anymore.
01:11:15This is one example
01:11:16of peripheral drift illusions.
01:11:18Your brain lags a bit
01:11:19when it's processing areas
01:11:20with different light intensity
01:11:22and makes you think
01:11:23the image is animated.
01:11:25Can you tell
01:11:26if this one is moving
01:11:27or static?
01:11:28I give you 10 seconds
01:11:29to figure it out.
01:11:39Static again.
01:11:40Contrasting colors
01:11:41create the illusion of motion.
01:11:44How many animals
01:11:45do you see here?
01:11:47There are 8 of them
01:11:48hiding between the lines.
01:11:49If you saw 5 or more,
01:11:50you'd have the eye of an eagle.
01:11:53Can you tell
01:11:54which of these 2 yellow lines
01:11:55is longer?
01:11:57It seems obvious
01:11:58the answer is the higher line.
01:11:59In fact,
01:12:00they're absolutely
01:12:01the same length.
01:12:02Your brain gets distracted
01:12:03by other elements
01:12:04of the image,
01:12:05like background lines,
01:12:06and you see the image
01:12:07in a distorted way.
01:12:10What about these 2 lines?
01:12:11Which one is longer?
01:12:14Again,
01:12:15they're the same length.
01:12:16The way circles are set
01:12:17makes the upper line
01:12:18seem longer to you.
01:12:20How many colors
01:12:21are mentioned here?
01:12:28If you got 7,
01:12:29great job!
01:12:30Nothing can distract you.
01:12:32Can you find the mistake here?
01:12:35The number sequence
01:12:36is all right,
01:12:37but you don't need
01:12:38an extra V.
01:12:40Let's go under the seat.
01:12:41Find 3 differences
01:12:42between these images
01:12:43in 10 seconds.
01:12:55Good job!
01:12:59Same task here.
01:13:01Did you spot them all?
01:13:05These images are different
01:13:06in 3 details.
01:13:07Can you name them?
01:13:14Fantastic!
01:13:17Oh,
01:13:18this looks delicious!
01:13:19Again,
01:13:20there are 3 differences
01:13:21between the images.
01:13:23Hope you found them all!
01:13:27These 2 images
01:13:28are different
01:13:29in 5 details.
01:13:30Try to name them
01:13:31in 10 seconds.
01:13:41Well done!
01:13:43Now,
01:13:44let's check
01:13:45the number sequence
01:13:46in 10 seconds.
01:13:52Well done!
01:13:56Can you find
01:13:575 differences
01:13:58between these 2?
01:14:05Well,
01:14:06nothing can hide from you!
01:14:09Help these kittens
01:14:10find 8 hidden objects.
01:14:22Meow!
01:14:23Thank you!
01:14:26This dog is made
01:14:27of many little things.
01:14:28Can you spot 13 of them?
01:14:37Amazing!
01:14:42The fall is a busy time
01:14:43for farmers.
01:14:44Make their life easier
01:14:45and find 20 hidden objects
01:14:46they need.
01:14:53Wow,
01:14:54you could be a detective!
01:14:58Did you find
01:14:5920 objects in this image?
01:15:01Feel free to pause the video
01:15:02if you need more time.
01:15:12Great job!
01:15:17This time,
01:15:18you only have to find
01:15:198 hidden objects.
01:15:22You can find 12 hidden things,
01:15:23but it's trickier
01:15:24because of all those dots.
01:15:35You did it!
01:15:39Moving on,
01:15:40what you see
01:15:41in these optical illusions
01:15:42can tell a lot
01:15:43about your personality.
01:15:45What is this one to you?
01:15:47Those who clearly see
01:15:48the mountains covered with snow
01:15:49mostly have their feet
01:15:50on the ground.
01:15:52You take things
01:15:53the way they are,
01:15:54like to plan everything
01:15:55and move ahead
01:15:56step by step.
01:15:57If you spotted
01:15:58the horses first,
01:15:59you like to be ahead
01:16:00of everyone
01:16:01and live at full speed.
01:16:02You're rather impatient
01:16:03and get bored
01:16:04of tedious work
01:16:05that needs a lot of attention.
01:16:07Now,
01:16:08what catches your eye here?
01:16:10If it's a peaceful
01:16:11creek in the woods,
01:16:12you always see
01:16:13the big picture.
01:16:14You stay calm
01:16:15even when everyone
01:16:16around you is losing it.
01:16:18You always know
01:16:19how to choose
01:16:20the right option
01:16:21quickly.
01:16:22If it's a grumpy
01:16:23face to you,
01:16:24you tend to overthink things
01:16:25and see a catch
01:16:26in every situation
01:16:27and offer.
01:16:28You don't make friends
01:16:29easily,
01:16:30but when you do,
01:16:31it's forever.
01:16:33Time for the next illusion.
01:16:35Those who see
01:16:36a face here,
01:16:37you have a bright mind
01:16:38and you like to keep it busy.
01:16:39You're good
01:16:40at solving tasks
01:16:41of any difficulty
01:16:42and you come up
01:16:43with the best ideas.
01:16:45Those who see
01:16:46a beautiful lady
01:16:47in a dress in this one,
01:16:48you're artists at heart.
01:16:49You take inspiration
01:16:50almost from
01:16:51anything and anywhere.
01:16:52You write,
01:16:53paint,
01:16:54sing,
01:16:55or create music,
01:16:56and it makes you happy.
01:16:57This one's pretty plain,
01:16:58or is it?
01:17:00If you see
01:17:01an owl landing,
01:17:02you're a great team player
01:17:03and easy to work with.
01:17:05You don't mind
01:17:06sharing credit
01:17:07for what you've done
01:17:08with others.
01:17:09Sometimes,
01:17:10you're too afraid
01:17:11to speak up.
01:17:12Remember,
01:17:13your ideas are worth it.
01:17:14If it's a girl
01:17:15looking in the distance
01:17:16to you,
01:17:17you have amazing
01:17:18communication skills.
01:17:19You're comfortable
01:17:20even in front of the crowd
01:17:21and like to share
01:17:22everything about your life
01:17:23on social media.
01:17:25How about this one?
01:17:27If it's a waterfall to you,
01:17:28you love travel
01:17:29and explore new places.
01:17:30You aren't afraid
01:17:31of anything
01:17:32except for boredom.
01:17:34You always say yes
01:17:35to new adventures
01:17:36and places.
01:17:37If you see
01:17:38a young couple here,
01:17:39you're a true romantic.
01:17:40You believe
01:17:41that love always wins.
01:17:42Even when someone's
01:17:43mean to you,
01:17:44you forgive them easily
01:17:45and try to find
01:17:46an explanation
01:17:47for what they did.
01:17:49What are your thoughts
01:17:50on this image?
01:17:51If it's a person
01:17:52standing alone
01:17:53on a rock to you,
01:17:54you're mostly
01:17:55an introvert.
01:17:56You need your alone time
01:17:57to bring your thoughts
01:17:58in order and recharge.
01:17:59You don't have
01:18:00many friends,
01:18:01but you're loyal to them.
01:18:03If it's a face
01:18:04of a girl to you,
01:18:05you often live
01:18:06in the world
01:18:07of your dreams.
01:18:08You always try
01:18:09to improve your life
01:18:10and sometimes forget
01:18:11to see the good
01:18:12in everyday life.
01:18:13Try seizing the day
01:18:14every once in a while.
01:18:16What does this one
01:18:17look like to you?
01:18:18If it's a pattern
01:18:19of trees,
01:18:20you aren't afraid
01:18:21to tell the truth
01:18:22no matter what it is.
01:18:23You have a point
01:18:24on anything,
01:18:25and it's not easy
01:18:26to make you
01:18:27change your mind.
01:18:28Sometimes it's okay
01:18:29to ask others for advice
01:18:30and follow it.
01:18:31If you see a girl
01:18:32with her back to you,
01:18:33you're afraid
01:18:34to hurt the feelings
01:18:35of others.
01:18:36You try to avoid
01:18:37conflict by all means
01:18:38and sometimes agree
01:18:39with others
01:18:40just to make them
01:18:41feel better.
01:18:42What animal
01:18:43do you see first
01:18:44in this curious pattern?
01:18:45If the giraffe
01:18:46is the first animal
01:18:47you saw,
01:18:48you're funny,
01:18:49influential,
01:18:50and charismatic
01:18:51like me.
01:18:52You're spontaneous
01:18:53and always full
01:18:54of energy.
01:18:55That's why you have
01:18:56plenty of friends.
01:18:57You can convince
01:18:58anyone of anything.
01:18:59Use this talent wisely.
01:19:01If you spotted
01:19:02the cat first,
01:19:03you don't like
01:19:04talking a lot
01:19:05and prefer to watch
01:19:06from a distance
01:19:07and analyze what you see.
01:19:08You're independent
01:19:09and self-sufficient,
01:19:10so you make
01:19:11your own rules
01:19:12and follow them.
01:19:13If you saw
01:19:14the duck first,
01:19:15you are a 100%
01:19:16optimist.
01:19:17You enjoy
01:19:18every moment
01:19:19and enjoy
01:19:20looking on the bright
01:19:21side of life.
01:19:22You enjoy
01:19:23exploring new places,
01:19:24learning new skills,
01:19:25and your curiosity
01:19:26has absolutely
01:19:27no limits.
01:19:28If the elephant
01:19:29has caught your eye
01:19:30first,
01:19:31you are loyal
01:19:32and genuine.
01:19:33You care deeply
01:19:34about everything
01:19:35and everyone
01:19:36around you.
01:19:37Your family and friends
01:19:38know they can always
01:19:39ask you for help
01:19:40and you'll solve
01:19:41any problem.
01:19:42In case you noticed
01:19:43the bear first,
01:19:44you're logical
01:19:45and conservative.
01:19:46You have
01:19:47your own values
01:19:48and you like to live
01:19:49by the rules.
01:19:50You're thoughtful
01:19:51and observant
01:19:52and aim for harmony.
01:19:53Those who paid
01:19:54attention to the rabbit,
01:19:55you're full of energy
01:19:56and spread joy
01:19:57like no other person.
01:19:58You've a great
01:19:59sense of humor
01:20:00and rich imagination.
01:20:01You like to share
01:20:02that happiness
01:20:03with others
01:20:04and easily
01:20:05become the soul
01:20:06of any party.
01:20:07In case the lion
01:20:08was the first animal
01:20:09you saw,
01:20:10you're a leader
01:20:11by nature.
01:20:12You like setting goals
01:20:13and achieving them,
01:20:14no matter how
01:20:15hard it gets.
01:20:16People gladly follow you
01:20:17because you're always
01:20:18100% positive
01:20:19of your success.
01:20:20And if you saw
01:20:21an octopus,
01:20:22an optometrist
01:20:23is in your future
01:20:24because there's
01:20:25no octopus there.
01:20:26Time for an eye test.
01:20:27Just joking with you.
01:20:28How many colors
01:20:29do you see here?
01:20:30If your answer
01:20:31is 3,
01:20:32you're not wrong.
01:20:33Do you think
01:20:34it's 17?
01:20:35Could be.
01:20:36Although the image
01:20:37went viral
01:20:38just a few years ago,
01:20:39it's still
01:20:40the most popular
01:20:41color in the world.
01:20:42Although the image
01:20:43went viral
01:20:44just recently,
01:20:45the explanation
01:20:46to this mystery
01:20:47is at least
01:20:48a century and a half old.
01:20:49It was discovered
01:20:50by an Austrian
01:20:51math and physics
01:20:52professor,
01:20:53Mach.
01:20:54He noticed
01:20:55you can easily
01:20:56distinguish
01:20:57between similar colors
01:20:58of slightly contrasting
01:20:59shades when
01:21:00they're close
01:21:01to each other.
01:21:02When you set them apart,
01:21:03the difference
01:21:04is barely noticeable.
01:21:05The professor
01:21:06thought it had
01:21:07something to do
01:21:08with the construction
01:21:09of the eyeball
01:21:10and the tissue
01:21:11it's made of.
01:21:12The band's effect
01:21:13was later named
01:21:14Mach bands
01:21:15in his honor.
01:21:16Years later,
01:21:17when they had
01:21:18better technology,
01:21:19scientists found
01:21:20the professor
01:21:21was basically right.
01:21:22Your retina
01:21:23is similar
01:21:24to a cinema screen.
01:21:25It captures light
01:21:26that's projected
01:21:27through the pupil.
01:21:28Receptors are
01:21:29all over that screen.
01:21:30Some of them
01:21:31are more active
01:21:32under bright light
01:21:33and send a whole
01:21:34lot of signals
01:21:35to the brain.
01:21:36When two cells
01:21:37send similar signals,
01:21:38you might think
01:21:39it's the same shade.
01:21:40Nerves are trying
01:21:41to solve this problem.
01:21:42They send stronger
01:21:43signals to make
01:21:44the difference
01:21:45more obvious
01:21:46at the border
01:21:47of different shades.
01:21:48Your brain
01:21:49then notices
01:21:50a clear boundary.
01:21:51This explains
01:21:52why you can see
01:21:53the difference
01:21:54between similar shades
01:21:55when they're
01:21:56next to each other.
01:21:57The transition
01:21:58between colors
01:21:59can look like
01:22:00a separate color.
01:22:01Some people
01:22:02can't see the difference
01:22:03between contrasting
01:22:04colors in the picture
01:22:05because of how
01:22:06their brains are built.
01:22:07The color rendering
01:22:08abilities,
01:22:09brightness,
01:22:10and contrast
01:22:11of your laptop
01:22:12or smartphone screen
01:22:13is another reason.
01:22:14Then,
01:22:15there's also the amount
01:22:16of lighting
01:22:17in your house
01:22:18or office.
01:22:19Plus,
01:22:20you don't have
01:22:21the same optics
01:22:22in your eyes
01:22:23that screen light
01:22:24as anyone else.
01:22:25You also have
01:22:26a unique level
01:22:27of pigment density
01:22:28that affects
01:22:29how your eyes
01:22:30absorb light.
01:22:31You can even have
01:22:32more than regular
01:22:33three-cone cell types
01:22:34and see more colors
01:22:35than others.
01:22:36And some people
01:22:37are more affected
01:22:38than others.
01:22:39That's why there's
01:22:40no correct answer
01:22:41to how many colors
01:22:42the image contains.
01:22:43Sometimes,
01:22:44uncertainty
01:22:45can make
01:22:46different people
01:22:47see one thing differently.
01:22:48The dress
01:22:49that was somehow
01:22:50gold and white,
01:22:51blue and black,
01:22:52blue and white,
01:22:53and blue and blue
01:22:54at the same time
01:22:55became a real sensation.
01:22:56The picture
01:22:57was taken
01:22:58on a cell phone
01:22:59in a really weird
01:23:00lighting and overexposed.
01:23:01You can't tell
01:23:02if it was taken
01:23:03inside or outside,
01:23:04and that means
01:23:05you don't know
01:23:06if it's artificial
01:23:07or natural light.
01:23:08It's not clear
01:23:09if the light
01:23:10illuminates the dress
01:23:11from the front
01:23:12or the back.
01:23:13If it were backlit,
01:23:14there would have
01:23:15to be a shadow.
01:23:16Parts of the dress
01:23:17itself were in shadow.
01:23:18That shadow
01:23:19was reflecting
01:23:20off the dress itself,
01:23:21complicating things
01:23:22even more.
01:23:23Confused?
01:23:24Me too.
01:23:25When your brain
01:23:26doesn't have
01:23:27enough information,
01:23:28it fills in the gaps
01:23:29by making
01:23:30its own assumptions.
01:23:31It mostly makes them
01:23:32based on what it's
01:23:33previously seen
01:23:34or known.
01:23:35That's why
01:23:36your brain
01:23:37could make
01:23:38one guess
01:23:39about lighting conditions
01:23:40and someone else's
01:23:41a totally different one.
01:23:42People who thought
01:23:43it was in a shadow
01:23:44believed the dress
01:23:45was white and gold.
01:23:46Same with those
01:23:47who thought
01:23:48it was in natural light.
01:23:49Shadows in blue sky
01:23:50over-represent blue light
01:23:51and make things
01:23:52seem yellowish.
01:23:53Oh, and the retailer
01:23:54of the dress
01:23:55officially confirmed
01:23:56it was black and blue,
01:23:57and that it was sold out
01:23:58in the first 30 minutes
01:23:59of business
01:24:00the day after
01:24:01it had gone out.
01:24:02That's why
01:24:03most people
01:24:04believe
01:24:05it was
01:24:06black and blue
01:24:07the day after
01:24:08it had gone viral.
01:24:09A new debate
01:24:10over the color
01:24:11of retro sneakers
01:24:12happened a few years later
01:24:13for the same reason.
01:24:14Are they teal and gray?
01:24:15Or maybe
01:24:16pink and white?
01:24:17You can't be sure
01:24:18with weird
01:24:19camera quality,
01:24:20flash,
01:24:21and funky lighting.
01:24:22When you zoom in
01:24:23on the picture,
01:24:24you can notice
01:24:25the hand is
01:24:26unnaturally bluish.
01:24:27So, depending on
01:24:28how sensitive
01:24:29your eyes are
01:24:30to light
01:24:31and how your brain
01:24:32fills the visual
01:24:33information gaps,
01:24:34the pictures can
01:24:35look different to you.
01:24:36In reality,
01:24:37they turned out
01:24:38to be pink and white.
01:24:40Do these strawberries
01:24:41look red to you?
01:24:42In fact,
01:24:43they're gray
01:24:44and green.
01:24:45The picture has been
01:24:46drained of any red.
01:24:47Your brain still
01:24:48makes you see it
01:24:49because of something
01:24:50known as
01:24:51color constancy.
01:24:52Your brain
01:24:53can sometimes
01:24:54ignore information
01:24:55from the color
01:24:56of the light.
01:24:57It knows
01:24:58what strawberries are,
01:24:59and it also knows
01:25:00they're supposed
01:25:01to be red,
01:25:02so it helps you
01:25:03see them as such.
01:25:04When an astronaut
01:25:05posted a picture
01:25:06of some sand dunes,
01:25:07the Internet
01:25:08thought they were
01:25:09pits,
01:25:10not hills.
01:25:11Only when they
01:25:12flipped the pic over,
01:25:13people could see
01:25:14dunes in the
01:25:15indefinite pattern.
01:25:16Turns out
01:25:17your brain
01:25:18thought the sun
01:25:19was in the
01:25:201 o'clock position.
01:25:21It means it's supposed
01:25:22to be casting shadows
01:25:23from the upper right.
01:25:24In reality,
01:25:25it was casting shadows
01:25:26from the upper left.
01:25:27So, turning it
01:25:28upside down
01:25:29makes things
01:25:30more usual
01:25:31to your brain.
01:25:32How many black spots
01:25:33can you see
01:25:34in this image?
01:25:35There are 12 of them,
01:25:36but most people
01:25:37can't see them
01:25:38all at once.
01:25:39All the dots
01:25:40are perfectly visible,
01:25:41but you can see
01:25:42each of them only
01:25:43when you look
01:25:44directly at it.
01:25:45Your peripheral vision
01:25:46isn't that perfect.
01:25:47Your brain
01:25:48has to fill in
01:25:49the blanks.
01:25:50The white
01:25:51between gray lines
01:25:52makes it think
01:25:53the dots are lighter
01:25:54than they are,
01:25:55so it decides
01:25:56to pretend
01:25:57there's just grayer
01:25:58and the dots
01:25:59aren't there.
01:26:00Although one of them
01:26:01looks twice the size
01:26:02of the other,
01:26:03these guys
01:26:04are of the same size.
01:26:06They're placed
01:26:07in an Ames room,
01:26:08invented by
01:26:09an American ophthalmologist
01:26:10in the 1940s.
01:26:12You'd have to look
01:26:13into a pinhole
01:26:14at a room
01:26:15that seems to be
01:26:16a regular square
01:26:17but is a trapezoid.
01:26:18The walls
01:26:19and ceilings
01:26:20are tilted,
01:26:21and this makes your eyes
01:26:22see one person
01:26:23tower over another
01:26:24even when they move around.
01:26:25If you have
01:26:26a toy train track
01:26:27at home,
01:26:28you can see
01:26:29how the next illusion
01:26:30works in reality.
01:26:31You take
01:26:32two segments
01:26:33of the same size
01:26:34and put them
01:26:35next to each other.
01:26:36One of them
01:26:37looks obviously larger
01:26:38than the other one.
01:26:39That's because
01:26:40your brain
01:26:41compares the two sides
01:26:42of the pieces
01:26:43that are next to each other.
01:26:44It compares
01:26:45the right side
01:26:46of the track
01:26:47that's on the left
01:26:48to the left side
01:26:49of the track
01:26:50that's on the right.
01:26:51When you compare
01:26:52squares A and B
01:26:53in the checker
01:26:54shadow illusion,
01:26:55you can tell
01:26:56square A
01:26:57is much darker
01:26:58than square B.
01:26:59Your brain
01:27:00expects the cylinder
01:27:01to throw a shadow
01:27:02on the board.
01:27:03It compensates
01:27:04for the alternating colors
01:27:05it expected to find.
01:27:07If you still
01:27:08don't believe
01:27:09the squares are
01:27:10of the same color,
01:27:11you can compare them
01:27:12with a color selector
01:27:13in any photo editing program.
01:27:15In the Ebbinghaus illusion,
01:27:17the two circles
01:27:18in the middle
01:27:19of their circle sets
01:27:20are of the same size.
01:27:21Turns out
01:27:22the way you perceive
01:27:23the size of things
01:27:24is all about context.
01:27:26The circle
01:27:27surrounded by larger ones
01:27:28seems smaller.
01:27:29And the one
01:27:30in the company
01:27:31of smaller circles
01:27:32seems to be a giant.
01:27:34There are 12 dots here.
01:27:36All of them are lilac.
01:27:37Your task
01:27:38is to stare
01:27:39at the cross
01:27:40in the middle
01:27:41of the dot ring.
01:27:42As one lilac dot
01:27:43disappears for a moment,
01:27:44a green dot
01:27:45takes its place.
01:27:47It also gradually
01:27:48wipes away
01:27:49other lilac dots
01:27:50one by one
01:27:51as it moves
01:27:52around the circle.
01:27:53This is the
01:27:54after-image effect
01:27:55in action.
01:27:56The rods and cones
01:27:57adjust to the
01:27:58constant disappearance
01:27:59of lilac dots.
01:28:00They replace it
01:28:01with a color
01:28:02from the opposite
01:28:03end of the spectrum,
01:28:04which is green.
01:28:06Seeing motion
01:28:07in a still image
01:28:08is one of the most
01:28:09common types
01:28:10of optical illusions.
01:28:11To create one,
01:28:12you have to build
01:28:13a pattern of
01:28:14high-contrast colors.
01:28:15They activate
01:28:16neural signals
01:28:17at the same time.
01:28:18This is how
01:28:19the fake motion
01:28:20effect appears.
01:28:22Café wall illusion
01:28:23was first described
01:28:24in the late 19th century.
01:28:26The tile pattern
01:28:27of a café wall
01:28:28had straight parallel lines
01:28:30and grout in between them.
01:28:32It seemed the black
01:28:33and white lines
01:28:34sloped diagonally.
01:28:35That's because
01:28:36different types of neurons
01:28:37in your brain
01:28:38react to dark
01:28:39and light colors.
01:28:41Some parts of the grout lines
01:28:42seem brighter than others.
01:28:44Where there's contrast,
01:28:45there appears to be
01:28:46asymmetry.
01:28:51You'll have 10 seconds
01:28:52for each of the
01:28:53optical illusions.
01:28:54Your task will be
01:28:55to read the hidden number.
01:28:56You'll go from
01:28:57the easiest
01:28:58to the hardest riddles.
01:29:00Start off with an easy one
01:29:01for warm-up.
01:29:14Told you,
01:29:15it's 784.
01:29:17Moving on.
01:29:26I hope you were able
01:29:27to see the number
01:29:285346 here.
01:29:30Level up.
01:29:32How about this one?
01:29:45The correct answer
01:29:46is 725.
01:29:48And another one.
01:29:56Yes,
01:29:57it's 786.
01:30:00Now, only 5% of people
01:30:01can read the next
01:30:02three numbers.
01:30:03Want to give it a go?
01:30:16If your answer is 6012,
01:30:18it's correct.
01:30:20But,
01:30:21there's one more
01:30:22hidden number.
01:30:24It's correct.
01:30:25And here's another
01:30:26tricky one.
01:30:41It's 182.
01:30:42And if you saw it,
01:30:43you must have eagle vision.
01:30:46Told you it won't be easy,
01:30:47but try this one.
01:30:55The correct answer
01:30:56is 3708.
01:30:59Let's see how you handle
01:31:00some black-and-white illusions.
01:31:14And the first one
01:31:15is hiding the number
01:31:16476.
01:31:18There you go.
01:31:19If that was too simple,
01:31:20try this one.
01:31:24If that was too simple,
01:31:25how about this one?
01:31:37I hope you guessed
01:31:38it was 86347.
01:31:42And now,
01:31:43let's test your eyes
01:31:44with some hidden words.
01:31:45You still have 10 seconds
01:31:46for each of them.
01:31:55I'm sure you figured out
01:31:56it's the word never.
01:31:59Can you read
01:32:00what this picture says?
01:32:13I can't sleep.
01:32:14How sad.
01:32:17This one is hiding
01:32:18the name of some month.
01:32:19You have to think
01:32:20outside the box
01:32:21to read it.
01:32:22Feel free to pause
01:32:23the video if you need
01:32:24more time.
01:32:30Well,
01:32:31the secret was
01:32:32to split it in half.
01:32:33Then you can see
01:32:34it's July.
01:32:36How about this one?
01:32:48It's the word run
01:32:49hiding in the back.
01:32:51Another one for you.
01:32:53How about this one?
01:33:07Hope you found the gold.
01:33:10Here comes a tricky one.
01:33:13It takes some brain power
01:33:14to see it's brain.
01:33:17Another one in this category.
01:33:19It's only getting
01:33:20more complicated.
01:33:33If you read the word
01:33:34music between
01:33:35the letters
01:33:36of the alphabet
01:33:37and the number
01:33:38of letters
01:33:39in the alphabet,
01:33:40if you read the word
01:33:41music between the lines,
01:33:42you must be a genius.
01:33:45Now let's see
01:33:46if you can decipher
01:33:47these secret messages.
01:33:48I give you 10 seconds
01:33:49for this one.
01:33:58Well,
01:33:59if someone says
01:34:00it's just a bunch of letters
01:34:01without meaning,
01:34:02you can easily
01:34:03prove them wrong.
01:34:05What do you see here?
01:34:11The power of imagination
01:34:12makes us infinite.
01:34:14Couldn't agree more.
01:34:16Here's another one.
01:34:32I hope you always desire
01:34:33to learn something useful.
01:34:36And I hope you
01:34:37learn something useful
01:34:38too.
01:34:41You deserve some dessert
01:34:42for all that mental activity.
01:34:44Here's just one cupcake
01:34:45among all those
01:34:46ice cream cones.
01:34:47Try to find it.
01:34:58There it is.
01:34:59Yum!
01:35:01Get a tomato to go.
01:35:03I can only see
01:35:04a bunch of apples.
01:35:05But maybe you'll
01:35:06be luckier here.
01:35:11Found it!
01:35:13There's a butterfly
01:35:14hiding somewhere
01:35:15among those flowers.
01:35:16Do you see it?
01:35:27Fantastic!
01:35:28It's right there.
01:35:31Can you find
01:35:32the one and only
01:35:33pineapple in this image?
01:35:37There it is.
01:35:38Found it!
01:35:50Great job!
01:35:52One of these
01:35:53colorful leaves
01:35:54is in fact a mushroom.
01:35:55Can you spot it?
01:36:09Well done!
01:36:11How about a safari
01:36:12to give your eyes
01:36:13another test?
01:36:14Do you see anyone
01:36:15hiding in these leaves?
01:36:29Yep.
01:36:30It's a chameleon.
01:36:31And those guys
01:36:32know how to blend
01:36:33with the surroundings.
01:36:34There must be
01:36:35a groundhog
01:36:36hiding somewhere
01:36:37among those flowers.
01:36:38Find it in 10 seconds.
01:36:52Wow!
01:36:53That was neat!
01:36:55One coyote
01:36:56won't do you much harm.
01:36:57But if it brings
01:36:58some friends,
01:36:59better make sure
01:37:00this area is coyote-free.
01:37:08Start looking
01:37:09for a different picnic spot.
01:37:10One of those guys
01:37:11is right here.
01:37:14Watch where you step.
01:37:15I hear there are
01:37:16snakes on the ground.
01:37:30Found one.
01:37:31Better be careful.
01:37:37I don't see anyone
01:37:38roaming in this territory.
01:37:39Let's see if you have
01:37:40sharper eyes.
01:37:51What a beautiful gazelle!
01:37:53Did you manage to find it?
01:37:56The next illusion
01:37:57was created back in 1860.
01:37:59It shows how your brain
01:38:00perceives depth and shapes.
01:38:03So, do you think
01:38:04the black line
01:38:05lines up with the blue one?
01:38:08If you answered yes,
01:38:09you're wrong.
01:38:10In fact,
01:38:11the black line
01:38:12stems from the red line.
01:38:14Now,
01:38:15take a look at these illusions
01:38:16and remember
01:38:17what you see first.
01:38:18It can tell a lot
01:38:19about your personality.
01:38:38If it looks like
01:38:39a mountain to you,
01:38:40you're a down-to-earth person.
01:38:41You're persistent,
01:38:42reliable,
01:38:43and like to plan things.
01:38:45Overcoming obstacles
01:38:46makes you feel really happy.
01:38:48You appreciate stability
01:38:49and don't like to take risks.
01:38:51If you saw
01:38:52the upside-down wolf first,
01:38:53you're a natural leader.
01:38:55You keep your emotions
01:38:56under control
01:38:57even in the most
01:38:58stressful situations.
01:38:59Others admire
01:39:00and respect you for that.
01:39:01Remember,
01:39:02it's okay to ask
01:39:03for help sometimes
01:39:04if you need it.
01:39:05How about this one?
01:39:19If lips caught your eye first,
01:39:20you're realistic
01:39:21and always take things
01:39:22the way they are.
01:39:24You don't look for
01:39:25hidden meaning
01:39:26in what happens to you
01:39:27and what others say to you.
01:39:28It helps you get along
01:39:29with people well.
01:39:31If you noticed
01:39:32the sign of the wolf,
01:39:33it's a sign of
01:39:34the wolf.
01:39:35If you noticed
01:39:36the trees first,
01:39:37you're an ambitious person
01:39:38and a perfectionist
01:39:39to the core.
01:39:40You're never happy
01:39:41with just OK
01:39:42and will always strive
01:39:43to be number one
01:39:44and make yourself
01:39:45and others happy.
01:39:47In the case
01:39:48the first thing you saw
01:39:49was the roots,
01:39:50you're an extremely
01:39:51progressive person.
01:39:53You love trying
01:39:54all the new technology
01:39:55and styles.
01:39:56You never settle
01:39:57and always try
01:39:58to make your life better
01:39:59and more exciting.
01:40:01Here comes the next one.

01:40:07of any party.
01:40:08You like to be
01:40:09the center of attention,

01:40:13You have plenty
01:40:14of friends
01:40:15who love that about you.
01:40:17If you see a girl
01:40:18in a beautiful long dress,
01:40:19you must be
01:40:20the mysterious artsy type.
01:40:21You prefer to observe
01:40:22others being active
01:40:23and have fun.
01:40:25If you see a girl
01:40:26in a beautiful long dress,
01:40:27you must be
01:40:28the mysterious artsy type.
01:40:29You prefer to observe
01:40:30others being active
01:40:31and have fun.
01:40:32You prefer to observe
01:40:33others being active
01:40:34and loud
01:40:35and get inspiration
01:40:36for your work.
01:40:37You notice little details
01:40:38and remember them
01:40:39to later put them
01:40:40on your canvas or paper.
01:40:43You have 10 seconds
01:40:44to decide what you see
01:40:45in this illusion here.
01:40:59If it's clearly
01:41:00an image of an elephant
01:41:01and a giraffe,
01:41:02you're a reliable
01:41:03and hardworking person.
01:41:05You feel responsible
01:41:06for yourself and your work
01:41:07and don't like

01:41:10for that
01:41:11and share their secrets
01:41:12with you.
01:41:14If you saw some rabbits
01:41:15between the trees,
01:41:16you're not as simple
01:41:17as you might seem.

01:41:30same task.

01:41:53You realize you might
01:41:54not like it in the end,
01:41:55but you'd rather try it
01:41:56and be sad
01:41:57than regret not going.
01:42:00In case you noticed
01:42:01several faces first,
01:42:02you always see

01:42:13in your career.
01:42:14Moving on.
01:42:15What a beautiful landscape,
01:42:16but is it hiding something?
01:42:28If all you see here
01:42:29is some sea and rocks,
01:42:30you're a calm
01:42:31and balanced person.
01:42:33Sometimes you're
01:42:34in a bad mood,

01:42:50logical conclusions.
01:42:52Alright,
01:42:53what does this one
01:42:54say to you?
01:42:57What does this one say
01:42:58to you?
01:43:08In case you're positive
01:43:09it's a portrait
01:43:10of a young girl,
01:43:11you're an extrovert
01:43:12and can't survive
01:43:13a day without people.
01:43:14You're active
01:43:15on social media
01:43:16and enjoy going
01:43:17to social events
01:43:18where you can make
01:43:19even more friends.
01:43:20If you see some horses
01:43:21and birds,
01:43:22you're more of an introvert.
01:43:23You love being
01:43:24alone outside.
01:43:25You have some
01:43:26but you appreciate
01:43:27your personal space.
01:43:29Those who see the face
01:43:30and the horses at once,
01:43:31you've got the best
01:43:32of both worlds.
01:43:33You feel comfortable
01:43:34at a party
01:43:35with a few hundred
01:43:36new people around
01:43:37and alone reading a book.
01:43:39What can you say
01:43:40about this illusion?
01:43:53Those who see
01:43:54a face of a woman,
01:43:55you're realistic
01:43:56and pretty content
01:43:57with your life.
01:43:58You don't expect
01:43:59too much from others
01:44:00and are ready
01:44:01to stand your ground
01:44:02if you have to.
01:44:03If you see
01:44:04a saxophone player,
01:44:05you often prefer
01:44:06your imaginary world
01:44:07to the real one.
01:44:08In your dreams,
01:44:09you have turned
01:44:10your favorite hobby
01:44:11into a career.
01:44:12Try doing that
01:44:13in real life.
01:44:14What are your thoughts
01:44:15on this one?
01:44:26If it's clearly
01:44:27an older man to you,
01:44:28you've always been wiser
01:44:29and more reasonable
01:44:30than others your age.
01:44:31That's why people
01:44:32often ask you for advice
01:44:33and you enjoy
01:44:34helping them out.
01:44:36If you see
01:44:37a young girl
01:44:38and an older man
01:44:39in the arch,
01:44:40you'll always be
01:44:41a child at heart.
01:44:42Your family
01:44:43means the world to you
01:44:44and you always ask them
01:44:45for advice
01:44:46and protection.
01:44:55Right now,
01:44:56you're going to test
01:44:57your observation skills.
01:44:58This test has four levels
01:45:00and each one's trickier
01:45:01than the last.
01:45:02Find a pen
01:45:03and a piece of paper
01:45:04to write down your score.
01:45:05For each correct answer,
01:45:07you'll get some points.
01:45:081 if it's the first level,
01:45:102 if it's the second one,
01:45:123 for the third,
01:45:14and 4 for the last one.
01:45:16The results will be
01:45:17at the end of the video.
01:45:23So,
01:45:24how many legs can you see
01:45:25in this picture?

01:45:332.
01:45:34There's an animal
01:45:35in this picture
01:45:36that's trying really hard
01:45:37to blend in.
01:45:38Can you spot it?
01:45:41Aha!
01:45:42It's this piglet,
01:45:43but its nose
01:45:44gives it away.
01:45:463.
01:45:47Can you find
01:45:48three animals
01:45:49hidden in this picture?

01:45:52Three ducks are hiding
01:45:53among the tree branches.
01:45:554.
01:45:56What's wrong

01:46:00Really?
01:46:025.
01:46:03Can you spot anything
01:46:04strange in this picture?
01:46:07A snake is pretending
01:46:08to be a giraffe here.
01:46:116.
01:46:12Just another regular day
01:46:14at the supermarket.
01:46:15Or is it?
01:46:18It would be
01:46:19if the lady on the left
01:46:20wasn't wearing skis.
01:46:237.
01:46:24How about this image?
01:46:25Is everything correct here?
01:46:28Not really.
01:46:29There's something wrong
01:46:30with the exit sign.
01:46:338.
01:46:34Why is this laundry trip
01:46:35going to end badly?
01:46:37Because who on earth
01:46:38washes white shirts
01:46:39together with red socks?
01:46:41Not me.
01:46:449.
01:46:45This picture looks weird,

01:46:50not the other way around.
01:46:5410.

01:47:04Okay,
01:47:05I'm up for some challenges now.
01:47:07Level 2.
01:47:1011.
01:47:11Which kitty
01:47:12is different from the rest?
01:47:15This one seems to be
01:47:16more pleased with life
01:47:17than the others.
01:47:2012.
01:47:21There are four mistakes
01:47:22in this picture.
01:47:23Try to find
01:47:24all of them.
01:47:26Well,
01:47:27let's see.
01:47:28A globe under the sink,
01:47:29a pair of shoes
01:47:30in the cupboard,
01:47:31a shirt instead
01:47:32of the curtains,
01:47:33and a table lamp
01:47:34instead of the faucet.
01:47:36This woman's life
01:47:37must be full of adventures.
01:47:3913.
01:47:40Can you see
01:47:41two different things
01:47:42in this image?
01:47:44It can be a girl
01:47:45or someone's face.
01:47:4814.
01:47:49Do you see a deer?
01:47:52A real master
01:47:53of camouflage.
01:47:5615.
01:47:57Can you find
01:47:58three animals here?
01:48:01I've only got
01:48:02one question.
01:48:03What are rabbits
01:48:04doing up there?
01:48:0616.
01:48:08There are three things
01:48:09wrong in this picture.
01:48:11Can you spot them all?
01:48:13There's no red light
01:48:14and no rails
01:48:15for the tram.
01:48:16And December 32nd?
01:48:18Seriously?
01:48:20You really want
01:48:21to last that much longer?
01:48:2317.
01:48:24Which girl looks different?
01:48:27The one in the right
01:48:28bottom corner
01:48:29because it's a boy.
01:48:3218.
01:48:33Which magician
01:48:34is different from the rest?
01:48:37Yeah,
01:48:38he probably decided
01:48:39to stand out from the crowd
01:48:40by wearing a different cloak.
01:48:4319.
01:48:44Something is missing
01:48:45in this picture.
01:48:46But what exactly?
01:48:49The sun is bright
01:48:50but then
01:48:51where are the camel's shadows?
01:48:5420.
01:48:55Which emoji
01:48:56is different?
01:48:59Yep,
01:49:00the non-winking one.
01:49:03Okay,
01:49:04not so bad.
01:49:05What's next?
01:49:06Surprise me!
01:49:08Level 3.
01:49:1021.
01:49:11How many cubes
01:49:12are there in this picture?
01:49:15There are nine cubes.
01:49:1722.
01:49:18Can you spot
01:49:19the odd one?
01:49:21Yeah,
01:49:22it looks a bit shorter
01:49:23than the rest.
01:49:2523.
01:49:27Can you figure out
01:49:28which string is tied
01:49:29to the banana?
01:49:32I'd bet on the first one
01:49:33but it's actually
01:49:34number three.
01:49:3724.
01:49:38How many animals
01:49:39can you see in this picture?
01:49:42There are three foxes.
01:49:4525.
01:49:46Something's wrong
01:49:47with this picture.
01:49:48But what?
01:49:51The pitcher is empty.
01:49:52Where's the milk
01:49:53coming from?
01:49:5626.
01:49:57Can you read
01:49:58what's written here?
01:50:01It's a mystery.
01:50:02Um,
01:50:03no, no,
01:50:04you don't get it.
01:50:05The word
01:50:06is mystery.
01:50:0827.
01:50:09Which unicorn
01:50:10is different?
01:50:13This one.
01:50:14Because it's a horse
01:50:15not a unicorn.
01:50:1828.
01:50:19What's wrong
01:50:20in this picture?
01:50:22The fish doesn't have fins.
01:50:2529.
01:50:26What's hidden here?
01:50:28A tiny hint.
01:50:29It's alive.
01:50:31Right.
01:50:32It's a giant panda.
01:50:3530.
01:50:36What can you see
01:50:37in this image?
01:50:39It's either a face
01:50:40or a penguin.
01:50:42Wow.
01:50:43To tell you the truth,
01:50:44that level made me sweat.
01:50:47Level 4.
01:50:4931.
01:50:50Can you find a snake
01:50:51in this picture?
01:50:53Duh.
01:50:54Looks like a tree root to me.
01:50:5732.
01:50:58What can you see
01:50:59in this image?
01:51:02There are two trees
01:51:03and a woman's head.
01:51:0633.
01:51:07Can you find
01:51:08the farmer's wife?
01:51:09Here's a hint.
01:51:10She's somewhere nearby.
01:51:13Who would have guessed
01:51:14you could turn the image
01:51:15upside down?
01:51:1834.
01:51:19The children are sure
01:51:20the astronomer's still
01:51:21in the room.
01:51:22But where can he be hiding?
01:51:25He really didn't
01:51:26want to be found.
01:51:2935.
01:51:30These geese
01:51:31are in danger.
01:51:32A predator's hiding
01:51:33somewhere in the picture.
01:51:36Wow.
01:51:37Almost missed it.
01:51:38How spooky.
01:51:4136.
01:51:42What's hidden
01:51:43in this picture?
01:51:45It's a big
01:51:46toothy
01:51:47scary
01:51:48shark.
01:51:5037.
01:51:51How many things
01:51:52can you see
01:51:53in this picture?
01:51:55It can be a beggar
01:51:56or it can be a face,
01:51:58depending on your perspective.
01:52:0138.
01:52:02This image is quite obvious.
01:52:04Or is it?
01:52:07Try turning it upside down.
01:52:09Then the rabbit
01:52:10will turn into a man
01:52:11with a long mustache.
01:52:1439.
01:52:15And what can you see
01:52:16in this picture?
01:52:19It might be a happy dog
01:52:21or an equally cheerful cat.
01:52:2440.
01:52:25And finally,
01:52:26can you read this?
01:52:29You don't say.
01:52:30Bad eyes?
01:52:32OK.
01:52:33This level was actually
01:52:34mind-boggling.
01:52:36But I'm looking forward
01:52:37to learning my results.
01:52:39If your score
01:52:40is 0 to 25 points,
01:52:42work more on your
01:52:43observation skills
01:52:44and you'll get better.
01:52:46If you've got
01:52:4726 to 50 points,
01:52:48you have a quick eye.
01:52:50With more practice,
01:52:51you'll soon become a pro.
01:52:54If you have
01:52:5551 to 75 points,
01:52:56you're as attentive
01:52:57as Sherlock.
01:52:59You can spot
01:53:00the tiniest details
01:53:01without much effort.
01:53:03But if you've got
01:53:0476 to 100 points,
01:53:05wow!
01:53:07I can't but feel
01:53:08a bit intimidated.
01:53:10Nothing can escape
01:53:11your eagle eye.
01:53:12It's better not
01:53:13to think you.
01:53:15Hey,
01:53:16how about we create
01:53:17your psychological portrait
01:53:19using optical illusions?
01:53:21You game?
01:53:22The rules are simple.
01:53:23Just remember
01:53:24the first thing
01:53:25you saw in the picture.
01:53:27Now,
01:53:28if you see a horse
01:53:29in this picture,
01:53:30you're a very valuable friend.
01:53:32You have excellent
01:53:33communication skills,
01:53:34and you're very confident
01:53:35and reliable.
01:53:37But if the first thing
01:53:38you saw here
01:53:39is the horse's head,
01:53:40it may mean
01:53:41you're critical of everything
01:53:42and the opinion of others
01:53:43can't throw you
01:53:44off the path.
01:53:46The next illusion.
01:53:48Those who saw a crocodile here
01:53:49love a quiet life
01:53:51and don't like to open up
01:53:52to something new.
01:53:54But if you saw a boat,
01:53:55you're more creative
01:53:56than other people
01:53:57and pay attention
01:53:58to small details.
01:54:00Those who see
01:54:01a young woman here
01:54:02have an analytical mind
01:54:04and use their left brain more.
01:54:06If you see an old man,
01:54:08you're likely to be
01:54:09a very gentle
01:54:10and sensitive person
01:54:11who can be
01:54:12very empathetic
01:54:13to other people.
01:54:14You're more creative
01:54:15and you use
01:54:16the right side
01:54:17of your brain.
01:54:19The white pillars
01:54:20in the picture mean
01:54:21you like comfort
01:54:22and safety.
01:54:23But you should leave
01:54:24the comfort zone
01:54:25to gain more experience
01:54:26and achieve something new.
01:54:28But if the first thing
01:54:29you see
01:54:30is the silhouettes
01:54:31of two men,
01:54:32then you're the kind
01:54:33of person
01:54:34who doesn't sit in place
01:54:35and is ready
01:54:36to move constantly.
01:54:38Are these flowers
01:54:39or a woman's face?
01:54:41If it's flowers for you,
01:54:43then you appreciate
01:54:44the world you live in
01:54:45and just love nature.
01:54:47And if the first thing
01:54:48to draw your eye
01:54:49was a woman's face,
01:54:51then you have
01:54:52a great ability
01:54:53to highlight details
01:54:54from the environment
01:54:55that will help you
01:54:56to make the right decision.
01:54:58If an orange explosion
01:54:59is painted for you here,
01:55:01you have incredible
01:55:02leadership qualities.
01:55:04But if the first thing
01:55:05you see in this picture
01:55:06is black fingers,
01:55:08then you're a very
01:55:09compassionate,
01:55:10generous,
01:55:11and kind person.
01:55:13Hey, did you see
01:55:14two faces here?
01:55:16You're an extrovert,
01:55:17you're social,
01:55:18and you're constantly
01:55:19thinking about other people.
01:55:21But you also get
01:55:22influenced easily,
01:55:23so try to surround
01:55:24yourself only
01:55:25with good people.
01:55:27But if you see
01:55:28a candlestick here,
01:55:29you're the exact opposite.
01:55:31You think more about
01:55:32yourself than about
01:55:33other people,
01:55:34and you like to sit
01:55:35at home rather than
01:55:36having noisy parties
01:55:37with a bunch of people.
01:55:38Ooh, this one is scary.
01:55:40If you see a skull here,
01:55:42it means it's hard
01:55:43for you to make decisions
01:55:44and move forward.
01:55:46But you need to
01:55:47find the courage
01:55:48and overcome
01:55:49the circumstances.
01:55:50It's the only way
01:55:51for you to become stronger.
01:55:53And if you see a woman,
01:55:54you're probably feeling
01:55:55like a squeezed lemon,
01:55:57both emotionally
01:55:58and physically.
01:55:59Perhaps you have just
01:56:00ended a difficult
01:56:01period in your life.
01:56:03In any case,
01:56:04stay on the bright side!
01:56:06Now, if you see
01:56:07trees here,
01:56:08you must be
01:56:09an ambitious person
01:56:10who loves to bring
01:56:11everything to perfection.
01:56:13If you saw the roots
01:56:14at the first moment,
01:56:15it means you're
01:56:16a progressive person
01:56:17who strives for improvement.
01:56:19If the whole picture
01:56:20looked like dark lips
01:56:21to you,
01:56:22then you're a person
01:56:23who doesn't like
01:56:24to go deep into something
01:56:25and study too much.
01:56:27Hey, where are
01:56:28those chocolate lips?
01:56:29Now, what do we have here?
01:56:31Is it a river
01:56:32and a cliff?
01:56:33Then you're an optimist
01:56:34who adapts easily
01:56:35to the changes in life.
01:56:37But if the first thing
01:56:38you see is a white cat,
01:56:40then you like stability,
01:56:42and you're in an emotional
01:56:44and mental balance.
01:56:46And you're a cat lover,
01:56:47of course.
01:56:48And if you see a face here,
01:56:49then you're a very
01:56:50creative person.
01:56:52You see a new opportunity
01:56:53in every detail of the world,
01:56:55and you're very curious.
01:56:59Whoa, is this an explosion?
01:57:01Then you're easily scared.
01:57:03You often feel fear
01:57:04of something new
01:57:05and unknown.
01:57:06You may even be in
01:57:07conflict with yourself.
01:57:09But if you see
01:57:10a passionate kiss
01:57:11in the smoke,
01:57:12then you value relationships
01:57:14and family the most in life.
01:57:17This is the highest
01:57:18priority for you.
01:57:20Ooh, cute bears!
01:57:22If you saw them first,
01:57:23then you can easily
01:57:24solve problems.
01:57:25You see a picture
01:57:26from far away,
01:57:27notice all the details,
01:57:28and can find
01:57:29the best solution.
01:57:31But if for you,
01:57:32this picture is a
01:57:33mountain landscape,
01:57:34then you are a more
01:57:35intuitive person.
01:57:37You're guided by your
01:57:38sixth sense
01:57:39when decision-making.
01:57:41Are you a realist?
01:57:43If you saw a big
01:57:44blue cat here,
01:57:45then yes,
01:57:46you don't have much fantasy,
01:57:48but you see the world
01:57:49as it is,
01:57:50and it helps you make
01:57:51plans on how to conquer it.
01:57:53If a little mouse
01:57:54hits your eyes first,
01:57:56you can see the positive
01:57:57even in the worst-case scenario.
01:58:00For you,
01:58:01the glass is always
01:58:02half-full.
01:58:03The next illusion.
01:58:05If you see a girl
01:58:06at the window,
01:58:07then be careful.
01:58:08This may suggest
01:58:09that you expect something
01:58:10unpleasant to happen,
01:58:12and you're also
01:58:13probably an impulsive person.
01:58:15If you see a skull here,
01:58:17then you're pessimistic.
01:58:19Your friends may call you
01:58:20a cynic,
01:58:21but you consider yourself
01:58:22a realist.
01:58:24Creativity against analytics?
01:58:26What do you see?
01:58:28If the red saxophonist
01:58:29is the first thing you see,
01:58:31then you are a person
01:58:32who likes to systematize
01:58:34and analyze information.
01:58:36You must be good at math
01:58:37and foreign languages.
01:58:39And if you see a portrait
01:58:40of a woman here,
01:58:42then you're an emotional
01:58:43and creative person.
01:58:45Is it a bird?
01:58:47Then you're a daydreamer,
01:58:48though a little absent-minded.
01:58:50But you strive to make
01:58:51the world a better place
01:58:53and invent ways to do so.
01:58:55And if there's a big face
01:58:56of a lion here,
01:58:58then you're a very brave person
01:58:59who's ready to face
01:59:00their insecurities
01:59:01and come out
01:59:02the winner of any fight.
01:59:04And here we have...
01:59:06Crocodiles?
01:59:08Then maybe you like
01:59:09to be in charge
01:59:10and manage your life.
01:59:12Orders from other people
01:59:13make you suffer
01:59:14because you're
01:59:15a natural leader.
01:59:16If you see a bird
01:59:17in the middle,
01:59:18you're ready to help others.
01:59:20You're reliable and friendly.
01:59:22Ok, if the first thing
01:59:23you see here is a car,
01:59:25then you're a person
01:59:26who appreciates their freedom.
01:59:28You like to break away
01:59:29on an unexpected journey.
01:59:31Meet new people
01:59:32and see new places.
01:59:34If you saw a person
01:59:35with binoculars,
01:59:37it means you have
01:59:38an analytical type of thinking.
01:59:40And you like to look at things
01:59:41from afar,
01:59:42often missing small details.
01:59:44And although you can absorb
01:59:45a lot of visual information,
01:59:47you should focus
01:59:48on the smaller things too.
01:59:50If you saw the letter A,
01:59:51then congratulations!
01:59:53You have a very sharp vision,
01:59:55just like an eagle.
01:59:57So hey, you can dive
01:59:58on a salmon!
01:59:59And you have
02:00:00well-developed intuition.
02:00:02Oh, this one is harder!
02:00:04If you're a girl
02:00:05and you've seen
02:00:06a man's face here,
02:00:08then either you're looking
02:00:09for a partner,
02:00:10or your current partner
02:00:11is a priority in your life
02:00:13and you feel a strong
02:00:14emotional connection with him.
02:00:16But if you see
02:00:17a woman's face,
02:00:19then you feel comfortable
02:00:20and self-sufficient.
02:00:22Guys who saw a man's face
02:00:24are concerned about
02:00:25relationships with other men,
02:00:27whether they are colleagues,
02:00:28friends, or even other guys
02:00:29in the gym.
02:00:31And if you see a female face,
02:00:33you're looking for your love.
02:00:35But take your time,
02:00:36or else you may push too hard.
02:00:41This is a test
02:00:42for super Sherlock.
02:00:44Of course,
02:00:45it's two squirrels, right?
02:00:47Well, that means
02:00:48you're pretty lazy,
02:00:49and you don't get
02:00:50too much into details.
02:00:52Now tilt your head
02:00:53a little to the left.
02:00:55Now you can see
02:00:56a woman's face.
02:00:57If that's what you saw
02:00:58from the beginning,
02:01:00then you're an incredibly
02:01:01attentive person
02:01:02who can get along well
02:01:03with other people.
02:01:05And now,
02:01:06we will determine
02:01:07your psychological age.
02:01:09If the first thing you saw
02:01:10was old people's faces,
02:01:12then you've already lived
02:01:13a long and colorful life.
02:01:15You definitely have
02:01:16something to remember.
02:01:18But if you see
02:01:19a young couple
02:01:20sitting next to each other,
02:01:21then you're young
02:01:22and all the fun
02:01:23is waiting for you.
02:01:25Now,
02:01:26be ready to give
02:01:27a quick answer.
02:01:28Remember what you see first.
02:01:30Let's go!
02:01:32If you notice
02:01:33a smiling face,
02:01:34you're an optimist.
02:01:36If it's the open book,
02:01:37you're smart
02:01:38and have a well-developed
02:01:39intuition.
02:01:41If it was roses,
02:01:42you're calm and kind.
02:01:44The tilted cross
02:01:45means that you're faithful.
02:01:47Balloons mean
02:01:48cheerfulness
02:01:49and good imagination.
02:01:51If the first thing you saw
02:01:52was a heart,
02:01:53then you're gentle
02:01:54and affectionate.
02:01:56A lion's face
02:01:57means that you're fearless.
02:01:59And if at first
02:02:00you notice the tie,
02:02:01you're determined
02:02:02and diligent.
02:02:04Oh,
02:02:05and if you saw
02:02:06the ice cream cone,
02:02:07then it's time
02:02:08for an eye exam
02:02:09cause there wasn't
02:02:10one in the picture.
02:02:15You know,
02:02:16scientists claim
02:02:17that the way your brain
02:02:18perceives and analyzes
02:02:19information
02:02:20can reveal
02:02:21a lot about
02:02:22your personality.
02:02:24Look at each of these
02:02:25optical illusions
02:02:26for a couple of seconds.
02:02:28What you see first
02:02:29can say a lot
02:02:30about who you are.
02:02:33If the first thing you saw
02:02:34was a tree,
02:02:36you tend to pay
02:02:37too much attention
02:02:38to details.
02:02:39But you're great
02:02:40at feeling the mood
02:02:41of other people.
02:02:42It makes you
02:02:43a tactful
02:02:44and empathetic person.
02:02:46And if you spotted
02:02:47a couple facing each other,
02:02:48you're logical,
02:02:49calm,
02:02:50and rational.
02:02:51You know how
02:02:52to reason with people
02:02:53even when they're
02:02:54sad or nervous.
02:02:57If you saw a car
02:02:58in this picture,
02:02:59you treasure your freedom.
02:03:01You like it
02:03:02when things go according
02:03:03to your plan.
02:03:04That's why it's often
02:03:05hard for you to make
02:03:06fast decisions.
02:03:07If you thought
02:03:08it was a man
02:03:09holding binoculars,
02:03:10you don't usually pay
02:03:11too much attention
02:03:12to details.
02:03:13Instead,
02:03:14you focus on
02:03:15the big picture.
02:03:17But maybe you noticed
02:03:18the letter A first.
02:03:20Then you have
02:03:21a rare ability
02:03:22to spot things
02:03:23other people miss.
02:03:24You're extremely
02:03:25intuitive
02:03:26and can think
02:03:27outside the box.
02:03:31If the first thing
02:03:32you see in the picture
02:03:33is two thumbs,
02:03:34you're a great leader
02:03:35and an excellent organizer.
02:03:38You're ready
02:03:39to take responsibility.
02:03:40And you understand
02:03:41what consequences
02:03:42your actions will have.
02:03:44And if you spotted
02:03:45an eruption,
02:03:46you have an altruistic
02:03:47personality.
02:03:49You're interested
02:03:50in people
02:03:51and want to help them.
02:03:53And here's number 4.
02:03:55If it's a monkey
02:03:56you noticed first,
02:03:57that's my picture.
02:03:59No, actually,
02:04:00you're an independent person.
02:04:02It's crucial for you
02:04:03to have some personal space.
02:04:05If you saw a tiger,
02:04:06you don't mind
02:04:07taking risks.
02:04:09You believe
02:04:10nothing is impossible
02:04:11if you try hard enough.
02:04:15If the first thing
02:04:16you saw was several trees
02:04:17in front of a sunset,
02:04:18you're very perceptive
02:04:19and easy-going.
02:04:21If you spotted
02:04:22a feline's face,
02:04:24you're a determined person.
02:04:26You always stick
02:04:27to the decisions you make
02:04:28and move towards your goal
02:04:29no matter what.
02:04:33If the first thing
02:04:34you noticed in this image
02:04:35was an outline of a face,
02:04:37you're likely
02:04:38to be an introvert.
02:04:40You don't like noisy parties.
02:04:42They make you feel worn out,
02:04:43both physically and emotionally.
02:04:46If you saw a saxophonist,
02:04:48you're more extroverted.
02:04:50You love socializing
02:04:51and people fall all over themselves
02:04:53to make friends with you.
02:04:55But remember to rest
02:04:56and not to burn out.
02:04:59If you only saw
02:05:00some nature in this image,
02:05:02your life is full of
02:05:03different events at the moment.
02:05:05You don't like routine,
02:05:06choosing to mix up
02:05:07your activities.
02:05:09This way,
02:05:10you'll never do the same stuff
02:05:11several days in a row.
02:05:13If you noticed a face
02:05:14hidden in this image,
02:05:16it's facing the bottom
02:05:17of the frame.
02:05:18You're an organized person.
02:05:19You find it hard
02:05:20to live without a plan.
02:05:22It makes you feel unsafe.
02:05:26If you saw zebras more clearly,
02:05:28you love talking
02:05:29and enjoy being
02:05:30surrounded by people.
02:05:32Making new acquaintances
02:05:33is your hobby.
02:05:35You don't like
02:05:36following boring routines.
02:05:38If it was a lion
02:05:39that stood out in the image,
02:05:41you prefer a calmer lifestyle.
02:05:43You'd rather spend
02:05:44some quality time
02:05:45with your few trusted friends
02:05:46and your family.
02:05:47Having too many people around
02:05:48drains your energy,
02:05:50which makes you avoid
02:05:51crowded places.
02:05:55If you saw a face
02:05:56in this image,
02:05:58you're approachable
02:05:59and laid back.
02:06:01People feel that you care.
02:06:03That's why they often
02:06:04unload their problems on you.
02:06:06But maybe the first thing
02:06:07you paid attention to
02:06:09was someone waving
02:06:10a magic wand
02:06:11at a kneeling figure.
02:06:13Then you're an ambitious person.
02:06:15Whatever you do,
02:06:16you gotta do it
02:06:17better than others.
02:06:20If it was a cat
02:06:21that stood out in the image,
02:06:23you probably don't like changes.
02:06:25People know
02:06:26they can rely on you.
02:06:28At the same time,
02:06:29you tend to keep your feelings
02:06:30and emotions in check.
02:06:32If you saw a face,
02:06:34you're a creative person.
02:06:36You love learning new things.
02:06:38And your intuition
02:06:39helps you find opportunities
02:06:41literally everywhere.
02:06:43If the first thing
02:06:44that jumped out at you
02:06:45was a cliff,
02:06:47you can tackle
02:06:48pretty much any problem.
02:06:50All thanks to your
02:06:51positive outlook on life.
02:06:55Is it a large,
02:06:56serious cat in the image?
02:06:58Then you're a realist
02:06:59when it comes to life.
02:07:01You see the big picture,
02:07:02and it helps you
02:07:03deal with problems.
02:07:05But if it's a mouse
02:07:06that caught your attention,
02:07:07you're an optimist.
02:07:09You try to find
02:07:10something positive
02:07:11in any situation.
02:07:13And in most cases,
02:07:14you succeed.
02:07:18If you saw a woman's face
02:07:19in this picture,
02:07:20you often rely
02:07:21on your intuition.
02:07:23And it doesn't usually
02:07:24let you down.
02:07:25You're also attentive
02:07:26to what's happening
02:07:27in the world around you.
02:07:29But what if you focused
02:07:30on flowers?
02:07:32Then you're someone
02:07:33who often feels
02:07:34the need to slow down
02:07:35and relax in nature.
02:07:40If a cute round face
02:07:41was what you noticed first,
02:07:43you're a sensitive
02:07:44and friendly person.
02:07:46You don't like conflicts
02:07:47and try to deal
02:07:48with disagreements
02:07:49in a peaceful way.
02:07:51If you paid attention
02:07:52to two birds,
02:07:53you're cheerful
02:07:54and outgoing.
02:07:56You love meeting new people.
02:08:00If you saw an elephant,
02:08:01you're loyal to your friends
02:08:02and respectful
02:08:03to your family.
02:08:05People like your friendly
02:08:06and considerate personality.
02:08:08They also appreciate
02:08:09what a great listener
02:08:10you are.
02:08:11If you paid attention
02:08:12to a small village,
02:08:13you're quite traditional.
02:08:15You prefer a peaceful
02:08:16and simple lifestyle
02:08:17over a city bustle.
02:08:23If it was the pillars
02:08:24that attracted your attention,
02:08:25you value comfort
02:08:26and security.
