00:00My name is Danny Burns and I'm the owner here at the Alpaca Trekking Centre and this is
00:07Annie.
00:08Annie is the little alpaca that we actually hand reared and lived in the house with us
00:12for 7 months and now frequents whenever she likes.
00:15She's now 4 year old with her own baby and yeah, she's been kind of crazy for the last
00:204 years in my life and she's due to give birth again in September this year and that'll
00:27be fun.
00:28So we've got room to build in the house to add her on.
00:31Annie, come.
00:32What's this?
00:33Come.
00:34Biscuits.
00:35So you think she's a dog, don't you?
00:40Well, it's taken us 5 years to build the house.
00:43Barely pretty much built it myself and right through lockdown and also no labourers, no
00:49materials, everything through the roof, prices, costs, everything else.
00:53So we managed it.
00:54We decided that yeah, just go for it, you know, we're here now.
00:57And Annie decided to join us.
01:00So she, as I said, frequents just whenever she can get away from the fields and the barn
01:05and the other alpacas.
01:06She comes down here with us regularly.
01:08Run.
01:09Annie, run.
01:10Run.
01:11Here she comes.
01:12Me and the missus, just us in this 300 square metre house and Annie when she appears and
01:27pops in or when she wants to because if we leave a door open and we're out on the farm,
01:31she'll end up in here without us being here.
01:33So she just kind of wanders about and pleases herself.
01:36So yes, Annie comes in with Bailey, her baby from last year.
01:39So we'll see what happens when the new baby comes in September this year, whether it'll
01:43actually frequent the house the same as what they do.
01:46So we'll keep in touch and tell you exactly what's happening there.
01:51Possibly need to put an extension on if it keeps going this way, but yeah, no, it's big
01:56enough for about the moment.
