TaiwanPlus is on the ground in Paris for the 2024 Summer Olympic games. Reporter Leslie Liao brings you the latest on Team Taiwan's participation in what is being hailed as the greenest, most gender-equal games in Olympics history.

00:00Taiwan Plus is here in Paris, France following the Olympics.
00:05This is the third time the city has hosted the Games,
00:08and it's using its past experience to put on what's being billed
00:11as the greenest and most gender-equal Games ever.
00:15Now, the city of Paris has set up venues like the one behind me
00:18where spectators can come together and watch competitions on giant screens.
00:23Over 10,000 athletes are vying for Olympic glory in this year's Games,
00:27and Team Taiwan is one of them.
00:29Team Taiwan is already guaranteed at least one bronze medal,
00:32thanks to boxer Wu Siyi,
00:34but it's still in contention in categories like taekwondo and breakdancing,
00:39which is a sport that's seeing its Olympic debut this year right here in Paris.
