Taewondoin Lo Chia-ling, a bronze medalist in Tokyo, lost to Laetitia Aoun of Lebanon in her round of 16 match in the women's 57kg division. Lo is the only athlete representing Taiwan in taekwondo in Paris and was nursing an ankle injury going into the bout.
