01:29it's a political show and ladies and gentlemen the Secret Service and my
01:33stories with them are not the subject of everyone's life when other things are
01:37going on unfortunately the Secret Service has made themselves a story by
01:42putting together a faulty security plan that got a man murdered in front of his
01:46family and Donald Trump shot in the head along with two others and now there's a
01:50unique opportunity to fix a government entity to fix it which we rarely if ever

03:41of the day however do you guys know they're like I did it's the first it no
03:45no no you don't it's a little surprise there's two special birthdays today
03:51numero uno the lovely Paulita my spouse my partner my partner in crime some
03:58crimes it depends my date night that's for another day it's her birthday today
04:03she is 27.5 she looks at at least never tell your Intel woman it's your
04:13birthday so happy to spend it with you she loved my card this morning too just
04:17want to put that out there it's also my father's birthday he's 73 happy birthday
04:21dad my only live in parrot so you know I love you both but special things so
04:26everybody in the chat wish the lovely Paula a happy birthday today she is uh
04:31she is um let's just say a very special person and I think it was all laid out
04:38my card all right now let's get to the news du jour I promise I'm gonna tell
04:43you this story and it's gonna blow your mind I'm not holding it unnecessarily I
04:47just want to get to this first because we've got a freaking election to win and
04:50yesterday this prisoner exchange happened which is great we want our
04:55people home I get it period full stop I say that with the purest of hearts
04:59however ladies and gentlemen the details matter and not only me but some other
05:04conservative outlets are now starting to ask questions like hey man what did we
05:08give up for this deal because if we gave up a lot of people and Putin got the
05:12better end of the deal doesn't Putin figure out he could just take more
05:15Americans and get the better end of the deal all the time we've got to ask these
05:21questions they're hard questions but we got to ask him here was Kamala Harris at
05:25the airport finally an unscripted moment ladies and gentlemen this is why I I
05:31don't want to hear any bullshit about a red wave we're in a fight make no
05:34mistake but all the Debbie Downers out there oh my gosh we're gonna lose get
05:38our asses kicked by Kamala Harris remember you were still dealing with
05:41someone who is really not bright and cannot even remotely speak
05:46extemporaneously at all here she gives another one of our word salads in an
05:51answer to a question about this special moment we get the prisoners back check
05:55this out check this extraordinary testament to the importance of having a
06:01president who understands the power of diplomacy
06:05and understands the strength that rests in understanding the significance of
06:11diplomacy and strengthening alliances you see how whenever she's forced to
06:18speak off the cuff she repeats herself over and over unburdened by the payload
06:24she does this all the time it's because she has nothing to say and she gets lost
06:28in her own words Biden's a better public speaker with level 72 brain damage than
06:34she is she's really terrible and Donald Trump asked the question on his true
06:39social account yesterday that me and a lot of other people were asking when are
06:43we gonna get the details on this prisoner swap are they extorting the
06:48United States they're calling the trade complex he notes that's because nobody
06:53can figure out how bad it is folks I'm really sorry we have to ask real honest
06:58I'd love to just celebrate this whole day it's great we got our people back
07:02and we should do everything in our power to do that but the world isn't a
07:06simple place Donald Trump is asking a legitimate fair proper appropriate
07:12question I wish more people on the left would ask what did we have to give up
07:17for this because does it incentivize in the future more American hostage-taking
07:26all right let me get to this I'm gonna get back to I'm not done with that by
07:29the way and if I don't get back to it today I'll get to it on Monday and on
07:33the radio show because this is really really important folks I'm gonna tell
07:40you this you know let me just tell you the story of Frank cuz I hate teasing
07:42stuff you get the Guardian one right I'm sorry guys go out of order I mean you
07:45can just get back on track put the Guardian story up I don't I'm reasonably
07:49confident I've never told this story on the air the problem ladies and gentlemen
07:53is and again I don't hide things from you I just this was a story about an
07:58incident that happened a long time ago and it wasn't related to the news I do a
08:02news show not the Dan Bongino news show okay I give you a short weekend update
08:06on Monday and I generally try to keep the show about current events cuz that's
08:10what matters not about my personal I sound like the Howard Stern show let me
08:13tell you about my limo driver this morning like we don't do that here I
08:17want you to look at the date in this story August 2nd toys that really is
08:21August that day I guess real date Wow it's today I didn't even look at the day
08:25I knew it was 2018 weird August 2nd 2018 the Guardian suspected Russian spy
08:32found working at the United States Embassy in Moscow now but leave that up
08:37for a second please why am I putting this story up now because ladies and
08:45gentlemen that story directly involves this guy
08:53then you knew there was a Russian spy in the embassy in Moscow yeah why because I
09:03was in the Russian Embassy in Moscow when she was there now why is this
09:12important right now to the Secret Service story because I've been telling
09:16you and and and for those of you out there let me just cut off an impulse I'm
09:20not talking about the p1 listeners and the people who are listening to I'm
09:23talking about the people whose instinct is always to ask some question before
09:26I've even finished the statement for those of you out there saying well Dan
09:30if you knew this what did you do about it one I'm gonna get to that and second
09:34they said well why didn't you highlight this stuff I did I wrote actual books
09:38about it three of them life inside the bubble the fight and protecting the
09:43president I've given interviews about it I've spoken to members of Congress about
09:47it I've spoken to Secret Service insiders interested in changing about it
09:50there's nothing else you could do to try to change the Secret Service nothing
09:54there's nothing else you could do I have done everything I can to try to fix this
09:59broken place including warning you repeatedly that someone was gonna get
10:03killed if they didn't and now someone did Corey comparator murdered in front
10:08of his family and Donald Trump shot in the head there is nothing else I could
10:12have done I am absolutely confident telling you that everything I could do I
10:16did they don't want to change it required someone to get killed and
10:21Donald Trump to get shot in the head for there to be enough political attention
10:25on the matter that they're willing to change let me tell you the story okay
10:29because it speaks to the culture of dysfunction and risk aversion at this
10:35broken agency that should not survive intact after this back in the early
10:422000s I was an instructor in our training center I was sent on a
10:47temporary assignment over to Russia I volunteered for it Moscow we had a what
10:52they call an RO a resident office over there I'm from boring you with the
10:57details please stop me in the chat but the story and the details matter I was
11:02sent over as a temp I was there a little over a month because the guy there before
11:08a guy by the name of Charlie I'll leave last names out of it a guy by the name
11:12of Charlie was what they call PNG persona non grata meaning the Russians
11:16kicked him out of the country it's a long story as to why but it was a
11:20retaliatory measure for something the United States did to a Russian here
11:24because the Russians they never do what they're telling you that this is why I
11:28love when people tell me about rice and I don't know I've been there twice I
11:30know a lot about Russia probably more the most journalists the Russians do
11:35things they can put in a paper to make it look like they're sticking it to the
11:38United States because we have the name the Secret Service even though there's
11:42nothing secret about us it's a protection agency they knew the average
11:46Russian citizen would think we were like spies like the CIA so instead of kicking
11:51out the FBI that actually does intelligence overseas what they did is
11:55they kicked out the Secret Service guy Charlie because they could put Secret
11:59Service every oh my gosh we kicked the spy out you get it the Russians though
12:04however didn't want to burn their relationship with the United States so
12:07they said tell you what we're gonna wink and nod and kick your permanent guy out
12:11this guy Charlie who was the boss over there but we're gonna let you rotate
12:14agents in I was the second group of agents that got rotated it was two
12:19people at a time here's where the story gets bananas you
12:24guys don't know this right I never told you this the guy I got sent over with to
12:30work the Russia office in Moscow in our embassy for a good amount of time is now
12:40the boss of Donald Trump's detail
12:45does this whole story make sense now I've known this guy 20 years the same
12:55guy let's call him Jack it's the same guy so when me and him we're in Moscow
13:06we noticed something interesting I'm gonna ask you to put that piece up again
13:10in a second there the Secret Service had hired an
13:15FSN FSN is short for a foreign service national her name was Anna that's a real
13:21name well that's what she told us a real name I'm not gonna mention her last
13:24name because it doesn't really matter but her name was Anna and from the first
13:28night let's just call this other agent I was with Jack from the first night we
13:34realized that Anna had was very very suspicious and odd Anna would ask a lot
13:41of questions totally inappropriate for someone hired as basically an
13:44administrative assistant and we noticed that Anna had a really unusual interest
13:49in a lot of what the Secret Service did ladies and gentlemen we noticed this on
13:53day one so this other agent and I Jack we started talking to each other and we
14:02said this is kind of a problem by the end of the first week we knew absolutely
14:08that this woman was probably a spy we would go and meet with the Russian FSB
14:15the former KGB and they would know her right away oh hey Anna how are you and
14:22we would look at each other like but I mean like know her I don't mean like hey
14:26did we meet I mean like oh hey how are you couldn't have been more obvious the
14:33woman was up to no good so this other agent Jack and I who's now running
14:40Donald Trump's detail by the way he was smart known this guy a long time he said
14:53I think we should do the right thing and notify Secret Service headquarters I
14:57said you're damn right that's what we're gonna do so that's exactly what we did
15:01we sent emails back saying listen the gist of it is you got a freakin spy in
15:06here we took all of our manuals and everything else and we put them up on a
15:11different floor let's say in the embassy to make sure she couldn't see them but
15:14she had access to them the whole time manuals like protection manuals and
15:18everything else we sent that email thinking they would get back to us the
15:24management be like oh my gosh great job guys like farming out a spy here like
15:29you know I'm fishing out a spy right that's not the response we got at all
15:37the response we got was basically how do I say this go fuck yourself pardon the
15:44language folks that was basically it like you guys should probably shut your
15:48pie holes and never mention this again which we were like uh no and we sent
15:53back another email that would put up that article again notice the date on
16:01this article August 2nd 2018 ladies and gentlemen I can't pinpoint the exact
16:08time I was there forgive me I just don't remember but I'm telling you it was
16:12around 2004 2005 Dan this articles from 2018 14 15 years later 14 years later
16:25what you're saying you sent an email with your guy and it took them 14 years
16:32to figure it out yeah that's what I'm telling you and notice the Secret
16:37Services statement 14 years later their statement is at no time in any Secret
16:42Service office have FSN's like Anna Foreign Service Nationals been provided
16:47or placed in a position to obtain national security information right the
16:54State Department said it wouldn't comment on allegations related to Intel
16:58or personal matters and we have no information for you on this alleged
17:01incident really you sure about that I'm willing to testify on the road that that
17:12statement is fake I would guarantee you so is Jack because Jack has the email by
17:20the way you know why the Secret Service didn't do anything because the Secret
17:29Service management culture which I've been writing about giving interviews
17:33about one of the reasons I resigned my job and gave up this glorious government
17:38pension and benefits and I had no job after that was precisely because I
17:42wasn't going to be a part of this broken culture anymore the Secret Service cares
17:46about one thing CYA covering well CTA covering their asses and they care about
17:55another thing walk the Secret Service has been lucky for probably 30 years
18:01they didn't get like well I got even 30 years because George Bush had a grenade
18:05thrown at him in Tbilisi Georgia and again that changed things for about two
18:09weeks to folks the Secret Service can't continue to exist they haven't like it
18:14is now they have a totally broken management culture there are people out
18:19there who have been whistleblowing on this forever and absolutely nothing has
18:23changed that story in the Guardian it's about me and I'm willing to testify
18:27under oath to anybody who wants to hear it I was there I saw it we called it out
18:33and the Secret Service did absolutely nothing I'm gonna tell you how I found
18:38out about this story by the way when this happened I was in New York I was
18:45getting ready to take a trip with Sean Hannity up to Pete Hegg says wedding
18:50in New Jersey true story Avita's mom was there I remember it like it was
18:57yesterday and I got a call from Jack who said hey man you remember Anna I said oh
19:08yeah I remember Anna he said read this article and it was this article right
19:15here suspected Russian spy found working at US Embassy in Moscow you're
19:22telling me these same people who by the way some of these same people are still
19:26around you're telling me they're gonna fix this place folks even the New York
19:34Times is in on the story about the broken Secret Service now this place
19:39cannot be fixed as is someone is going to die it's not your Secret Service it's
19:48ours the taxpayers I've got video and audio coming up everything I told you
19:53ladies and gentlemen you have been two to three weeks ahead if you are reading
19:56Susan Crabtree's social media or watching my show you were two to three
20:02weeks ahead what did I tell you just the other day what did I tell you two and a
20:07half weeks ago about the drone now all of a sudden the New York Times catches
20:10up again their audience is to at least two weeks behind stories I've already
20:15told you I'm gonna take a quick break I need to calm down because that story
20:20still pisses me off about Anna take quick break and we'll be right back
20:25we'll get to that stuff folks I've had the sponsor for a long time check them
20:29out listen I live in Florida the windshields get really dirty down here
20:33rains a lot the glare it gets it creates a really dangerous situation and you're
20:36car just gets nasty looking check out windshield Wow it's appropriately named
20:40because you'll say wow the first time you use it the windshield Wow is an
20:43ingenious windshield cleaning device uses two magnetic cleaning paddles
20:46there paddles they're really strong by the way and basically what you do is you
20:50just have to clean the outside because the inner magnetic panel that clings on
20:53to it cleans the inside of the windshield all done from the outside
20:57it's really simple all you do is push around the outside paddle the inside
21:01follows and cleans it automatically it's the cleanest my windshields been in a
21:05long time no more struggling to clean the inside creates a safer situation to
21:09again especially in those states down there where you get a lot of Sun you
21:12don't want that the glare can be dangerous I put them in each of my cars
21:15it's super thin gets in those tight areas I like windshields clean haze and
21:20film builds up creates a really dangerous situation we have one in every
21:23single car my daughter Isabel my wife Paula and mine and we don't have two we
21:29actually have three so go to windshield Wow comm pick it up today it's windshield
21:32Wow comm get this ingenious cleaning device now put one in every car that's
21:36windshield Wow comm send us your views you're gonna like it windshield Wow comm
21:40use Bongino at checkout for a special discount that's windshield Wow comm
21:45okay back to the show I always appreciate those moments to kind of take
21:49a break because you can tell I know I told the story in a very kind of calm
21:52manner but folks I assure you inside that story still pisses me off because
21:57the only reason the Secret Service at that time did nothing about the Russian
22:01spy that me and Jack outed was because they didn't want to be embarrassed the
22:06fact that the Russian spy was still spying on them mattered secondary to
22:11them not being embarrassed and it explains everything why throw in that
22:15random story because if you understand that their goal is to CYA cover their or
22:20CTA cover their asses first and accountability second you understand why
22:26nothing is gonna change under Ron Rowe who I have been warning you about
22:30forever the acting director he's worse than the former director he is knee-deep
22:35in every one of these scandals the January 6 text the red tie thing agents
22:41shouldn't wear red ties it looked like they're supporting Trump what kind of
22:44stupid shit is that the reduction in assets to protection details the refusal
22:51to provide security around Donald Trump he is part of all of this you think he's
22:56gonna give an honest evaluation look at this the New York Times let two weeks
23:00ago I told you that the Secret Service that there's a joke in the Secret
23:04Service and it's not funny but agents used it happened agents used to tell
23:09each other this all the time because they know management sucked the joke was
23:14this United States Secret Service yesterday's technology tomorrow they
23:19kept their horrible with technology you know why because of what I told you they
23:25all they're interested is CTA covering their asses so when someone comes in
23:30with a new technology the guy who vouched for the old technology doesn't
23:34want to admit it sucks so what does he do that we don't need that new stuff
23:38this will be good and they just pray to get lucky no yes I'm not kidding I told
23:45you that two weeks ago now the New York Times and and by the way good for them
23:48I this isn't about credit we're trying to keep people a lot I don't like the
23:53New York Times but if you're gonna do actual journalism on this fine fine New
23:57York Times Eric Lipton David Farenthold wouldn't trust these guys as far as I
24:01can throw them but this piece is accurate Secret Service's technological
24:05flaws help the gunmen evade detection at Trump rally this is how bad their
24:11research and tech division is hold on keep that up you think this is like
24:15James Bond do you guys remember James Bond was it was a cue who was the guy
24:19wet all the tech and stuff you think this is like that there there's no it's
24:25not like that at all there's nothing like that they know what the Secret
24:29Service for example turned down offers to use a surveillance drone at the
24:33Butler Farm Show rally site again I told you this two weeks ago the agency also
24:39didn't bring a system to boost the agent signals in an area with poor cell
24:43service they couldn't even talk to each other some of the equipment the agency
24:48did bring including a system to detect drones didn't work when it wasn't when
24:53it was needed the result was a 20 year old had a technological advantage over a
24:57three billion dollar federal agency United States Secret Service yesterday's
25:05technology tomorrow I've been talking about this for 20 years
25:19I'm not selling your book matter of fact don't buy this book please because I
25:28don't want to sell you anything I'm not I wrote this book a long time ago the
25:35fight it's an inside account of security failings and the political machine by
25:39some guy named freaking Dan Bongino the books 10 years old one of the chapters
25:47one of the chapters is about which you can see right here is about threats from
25:51the sky and drones here it's right here you can look at it right here I wish I
26:01would I wish I would have dogged you to be here the White House fence jumper
26:04what bureaucrats can learn from the Secret Service security model how they
26:08how the emergency break and out-of-control government here chapter
26:12five begins on page 61 the White House drone crash it was a warning about the
26:22Secret Service being light years behind 20 year olds who can go to Amazon and
26:29get a freaking drone so don't tell me well what did you do the answer is
26:34everything in my power to change it and nothing changed I'm not giving up this
26:38opportunity again I am not listen to me I'm not even done with this New York
26:43Times piece I pledged to you this right now and I know Secret Service people are
26:47watching I am NOT your enemy I'm actually your friend you just don't know
26:51it I am gonna fix this place and I'm not gonna stop to the people that have been
26:55ruining the agency worthy of trust and confidence till they are absolutely gone
26:59it is not their agency it is ours the taxpayer you don't own it you will come
27:04and go the agency will not and their protectees I'm not gonna let someone get
27:09murdered in front of their family again I'm not stopping again in case you think
27:14the Secret Service and their three billion dollar budget that what 10% of
27:19it 20% of it research and development protection new forms of armor new forms
27:25of RF detection everything like that no you know how much they spend on research
27:29a year four million dollars four million dollars folks I think I spend
27:35more on marketing my podcast than they do on actual research look here again I
27:40hate to cite the New York Times but they're not wrong budget documents show
27:44the Secret Service spends only four million dollars a year less than 1% of
27:48its funding on actual R&D for new security tools and other needs for next
27:52year the agency asked Congress to provide even less in funding for
27:55research only 2.2 million isn't it great knowing we have a six trillion
27:59dollar government where we spend four million of six trillion this is said
28:05this is like an Austin Powers skit you know that right four million dollars but
28:10in this case he's not wrong like you know he's just a million and they laugh
28:14at him in this case it's actually right we have a six trillion dollar government
28:19obsessed with flying illegals around the country giving him benefits and Obama
28:22phones and everything and we're spending four million a year on keeping
28:25people alive in actual research good job fellas you guys are really kicking ass
28:29knocking it out of the park US Secret Service yesterday's technology tomorrow
28:37folks when I was in the Secret Service you know how we were entering our time
28:41cards do a program called smart where smart where my wife who's an internet
28:46and database developer happy birthday Paul again I said to her we use smart
28:50where she was like that's hilarious well nobody's used that since like the
28:5540s this was in 1999 actually 2001 when I met her smart where go look it up and
29:04you know why they didn't change it because the guy who invented the smart
29:10where thing or brought it into the Secret Service it was his product and no
29:13one wanted to hurt his feelings no yes no yes that's why agents would
29:20spend hours wasting their time on a 1940s time card program because nobody
29:28wanted to upset a guy who had brought the smart where program in no yes don't
29:34tell me it didn't happen I was there want me to testify on the road about it
29:37go look up my time records go look them up for you them and while you're at it

32:49Omaha Steaks I want to show you this clip again you've been weeks ahead of
32:54the news here I've told you the Secret Service right away has problems with
32:58technology where the hell was the drone where the hell was the drone of the
33:02ability to stop the other guy's drone he answers it wasn't there because the
33:06Secret Service believes in yesterday's technology tomorrow I want you to listen
33:10to this question by John Cornyn senator from Texas he someone told him to ask
33:15this I'm sure it's a very smart question it's not stupid whether you love him or
33:19hate him this is a good question here's Cornyn on weaponized drones now we know
33:25weaponized drones are a thing drones that can drop grenades and explosives why
33:29folks this isn't secret just go to social media and watch the war in
33:34Ukraine that both sides have been doing this forever this is not new where's the
33:39Secret Service who the hell knows listen to Ron Rose answer check this out you
33:42have the capacity to stop a weaponized drone what I will tell you sir is that
33:50we have technical security measures that we utilize that permanently protective
33:55sites we also have the ability in a limited fashion at temporary sites what
34:02I can tell you is that on this day the counter UAS system had technical
34:07difficulties and did not go operational until after five o'clock so in this case
34:12the shooter had a rifle but somebody who wanted to kill a president for a former
34:19president or a candidate for president would not need a rifle they could use a
34:24drone correct it is a potential threat vector I love how they use these faux
34:31SAT words again to try to sound sophisticated like it is a potential
34:37threat vector no shit Sherlock like we used to say when I was a kid in Queens
34:43really drones have been a threat vector for 20 years last time I checked guys am
34:52I wrong it's 2024 correct thank you a chair that's like is this a trick
34:58question I'm right well it's been a threat since 2000 again I wrote this
35:05book years ago about the drone threat you still can't figure out how to stop a
35:11guy from hovering a drone and by the way for the dipshit class out there
35:16especially some in the media oh my gosh dad don't give these people ideas they
35:21already have the fucking ideas pardon my language a guy was just murdered in
35:26front of his family if you don't highlight this shit nobody's gonna do
35:30anything about it you're gonna get another speech about threat vectors ten
35:36years from now when a grenade gets dropped on Donald Trump's head what do
35:42you think is happening behind the scenes to the Wall Street Journal editorialist
35:48who again I like we should stop talking about this in public why so in private
35:53they can do jack shit and get someone killed well why exactly what evidence do
35:59you have that not exposing it publicly is gonna fix it privately you have none
36:04zero he just said on the road oh yeah basically our stuff doesn't really work
36:10that great well maybe figure it out just an idea bro this agency cannot
36:21possibly survive folks we cannot let this happen there are a lot of I promise
36:29you there are good people there and I will go to the grave with that because
36:32it's true and there are a lot of them who are really really pissed off but
36:39there are also a lot of really bad people there this thing has to be
36:44completely completely done over from scratch and people have to reapply some
36:54of the people who are 13 should be 15 management some of the people who are
36:59SES senior executive service big bosses should be fired this agency is a train
37:07wreck man it's a mess people have been promoting their buddies people have been
37:17promoting people on quotas people have been promoting people because they're
37:22this guy's kid and this guy knows that guy you think there's any merit in their
37:27promotion you know how many good guys I saw struggle over there is 13 forever
37:32while a bunch of dipshits got promoted to 14 and 15 who are their bosses you
37:38know many losers I saw get promoted over there because they kissed someone's ass
37:43or someone got to check some box you think people don't know about this now
37:49someone's dead because of it he was Ron Rowe the other day I want you to watch
37:58this this is a it's just vigilant Fox this was a good one I want you to watch
38:03Ron Rowe again doing this demo on what he says his counter-sniper guys saw and
38:09I want you to keep this in mind in light of the new video that emerged where we
38:14actually see what appears to be the shooter on the roof at the 3 o'clock so
38:19again nothing Ron Rowe is said is actually true he left out the part that
38:24hey this is what the shift so this should have seen what you see right
38:28there at the 3 o'clock check this out this view is a reenactment by one of my
38:34agents laying flat there was a 5-inch rise on the middle of that roof the
38:42assailant would have had to present his boar over that to get his shot off the
38:48view underneath reflects the perspective that
