00:00Hello everyone, today I'm reviewing Kettle Cooked Old Dutch Gluten Free Mosquito Barbeque.
00:11To be honest with you, I don't know what mosquito barbeque is, I'm thinking of mosquitoes flying
00:17all around me and I'm like, why would I want to have mosquitoes barbeque, like I don't
00:22even know, like unless I'm not pronouncing that right, I think that says mosquitoes and
00:27I'm like thinking mosquitoes, like I don't like mosquitoes, I actually have a friend
00:32who mosquitoes just flock around him, so he doesn't go out at night and sit in his own
00:36patio because they just, for some reason they just like him and they go all around him.
00:43Mosquitoes don't really like me too much, so that's what I think of when I saw this
00:48mosquitoes barbeque and I was like, okay, I've never heard of it, like I know barbeque,
00:54I like barbeque chips and I like certain ones better than other ones, but I've never
00:59heard of barbeque mosquito or mosquito barbeque, so I figured, and I like Old Dutch, I like
01:05that little crunchy potato chip that they have going for them, like it says makes, what
01:11makes OD Kettle Cooked Chips so special?

01:17First we take potatoes, well I certainly hope so, what else are you going to take?
01:21You've got to take potatoes first, well maybe the flavor first, I don't know, I don't know
01:25how to make potatoes, and then slice them just right, okay, that makes sense.
01:30Next we kettle cook them using the highest quality vegetable oil, see, vegetable oil
01:36I think is okay, but I don't think it's the better oil to use.
01:42One small batch at a time, then we finish by using the finest seasoning, so they're
01:48seasoning it, they're doing all this, made with artificial flavor and colors, well they
01:52just ruined it for me there, they said, okay we're seasoning it, so you're thinking, good
01:56stuff, now they're putting like, you know, like artificial flavoring and coloring on
02:01it to make it not really look the way, you know, look like something different than it
02:06should, to give you the perfect tasting kettle chips, but I do like Old Dutch, so, and I'm
02:12going to definitely try these because that's what I'm here for, and to top it all off,
02:16these chips are gluten free, now that's good, there are the finest kettle chips you have
02:22ever tasted, well, I'm going to find that out soon, calories are 250, the fat is 17,
02:30the trans fat is 5, fiber is 7, okay, I'm surprised on that one, sugar is 2%, cholesterol
02:36is nothing, protein is 3 grams, sodium is 22%, potassium is 16%, calcium is 1, and iron
02:44is 4, potato, vegetable, oil, sugar, sugar, corn, molasses, salt, yeast, some words I
02:54just can't pronounce, and spice abstracts, onion powder, tomato powder, garlic powder,
03:00natural flavor, citric acid, natural smoke flavor, so this has a smoke taste to it, calcium,
03:08and some other words I just can't pronounce, okay, so now I'm going to open it up and there's
03:14the Canada Old Dutch, Canada, you know, because it's Canadian, Old Dutch website, let's try
03:23it, wow, you know what, as soon as I opened it up, I don't know what I was expecting as
03:30soon as I opened it up, maybe a whole bunch of mosquitos flying in my face, no just, wouldn't
03:34that be funny, woo, that's what it is, grab it, and I'm like, no, no, I'm glad, but as
03:41soon as I opened it up, I smell, it smells really good, it actually smells really good,
03:47it's a different type of smell for these barbecues, and they're just simple barbecues, see, nothing
03:52special, and there's a bit of a spice to them too, they're different tasting, they're different
04:04tasting, I wasn't expecting, hmm, you know how sometimes you like something and you don't,
04:22this is it, I like the taste, but I also don't like the taste, I don't know how to explain
04:27that, like you like it, but you don't like it, like I know I'll go back to eating these
04:31again, but there's something I just don't like about it, but it kind of addicts me to
04:37eat more of it, has that ever happened to you? It's happened to me, a few times, and
04:43a few of my reviews I've done, I was like, okay, I don't like it, but I do like it, it's
04:51a unique flavor, I will eat them, I might not be able to sit down and eat them all at
05:02once, but I'm addicted to, and because I'm addicted to it, and they smell good, I like
05:11it and I don't like it, it's really weird, it has a nice flavor to it, a nice barbecue
05:18flavor to it, it feels like you're putting barbecue sauce on ribs, that's what it kind
05:23of tastes like, so it's barbecue sauce, so I guess there is such thing called a mosquito
05:27barbecue sauce, and maybe a company makes that, and the old Dutch decided to get that
05:33barbecue sauce and put it in a chip, I don't taste the garlic though, maybe, it's the way
05:39it's designed, you know, I would give it a 6, just because I don't know, I like it and
05:47I don't like it, I'm addicted to it though, I could sit here and probably eat the whole
05:52bag, yeah, it's really weird, I like it and I don't, okay, I give it a 6.5 out of 10,
06:03just because I like it and I don't, and I'm not sure what to rate it, I like it and I
06:08don't, it's really weird, this has happened to me before though, and I think normally
06:14when it happens, I normally give it a lower number, because I honestly don't know, oh
06:17Dutch everyone, gluten free, mosquito barbecue, and I got this a dollar tree, and I can't
06:23remember, I think I only paid like a dollar fifty for it, so it's worth it if it's a dollar
06:27fifty, but I could be wrong, it could have been two dollars, I'm not really sure, so
06:31the price was good, and they're good quality chips, they definitely don't smell stale or
