00:00Let's move on to the Atlanta Braves, Joe, you and I talk about it when it comes postseason,
00:09what kind of pitching staff is a team going to put out?
00:12The Braves didn't seemingly didn't do anything to add themselves to any consequence of that
00:17conversation.
00:18They added a bat, but I mean, Whit Merrifield came along too before the deadline, but the
00:23Braves are losers, no?
00:24I think so.
00:25And I understand from the Braves perspective is they've already, you know, they, they look
00:29at the roster, they look at what they have and they say, everything that's going wrong,
00:33we're still in it.
00:34So maybe we just hold on and do our best this year and then re, you know, retool for next
00:38year.
00:39But to me, that's a bit of a waste of the season.
00:40They got from Chris Sale.
00:41Chris Sales pitched like a Cy Young this year.
00:43And I know it's a bummer that Acuna got hurt and Spencer Strider got hurt and now Albies
00:47got hurt.
00:48I get that.
00:49But if they had, if they had gone out and gotten a Jack Flaherty, I think we'd be speaking
00:52differently about the Braves.
00:53Don't you?
00:54We're a little worried.
00:55We're a little worried about his health.
00:56Well, look, they've gotten so much out of Chris Sale and so much out of Reynaldo Lopez
01:01who nobody thought was going to give him what they he's given him this year.
01:04And now you're in a spot where they're still really relevant.
01:07They're a wild card team.
01:08They're right in the thick of it.
01:09Who knows?
01:10You could get hot.
01:11I just think it was kind of a bummer for the fan base and maybe a waste of a season of
01:14two pitchers.
01:15You didn't expect to be that good.
01:16And who knows if they're going to be that good next year?
01:19That's my problem with the Braves.
