Vietnam Coast Guard ship arrives in Manila for port call

Vietnam Coast Guard ship CSB 8002 arrives at Manila's port and is greeted by Philippine Coast Guard officers during a goodwill visit to the country.

A Philippine Coast Guard official said the visit "has nothing to do" with the current situation in the disputed South China Sea, but is part of a cooperation that is crucial in "maintaining a safe, secure and stable maritime environment."
