BPositive Walk at Craigavon Lakes
Transcript
00:00Right John, what are you pleased about? What has been good about this?
00:04I've got, this'll be the 19th lap. 57 miles of walking for being positive. Raising money for
00:13the Cancer, Children's Cancer Fund. And it's tiring. It's hard work. Legs are sore. But
00:22really, really rewarding. I am kind of pleased it's the last lap.
00:26John, I want to ask you, 3 o'clock in the morning, yesterday morning,
00:31that's whenever it was going to get really, really tight. So how are you going to deal with the legs
00:36and how did you? Yeah, well, 3, 4, 5, 6 o'clock in the morning just got progressively tougher and
00:41tougher. And I kind of just kept trying to remind me that any of these kids and these ones suffering
00:49from cancer don't get a chance to take a wee time out. So I just literally kept going, thinking at
00:54least my pain's temporary. Within a few days I should be feeling better. So any short-term
01:02discomfort for the long-term gain, it's kind of worth it. So that's the 3 positives all about
01:09John. Well done. And anybody who would like to donate, if you give it to somebody in the gym,
01:15John will get it for that good cause. Well done John. Thanks Sam.
