00:25and the assistance in many aspects.

00:27This happened during the visit of the German Federal Ministry of Defense, Boris Pisturius, today.

00:33Pisturius was with the German Ambassador in the Philippines.

00:36President Marcos thanked Germany for its continuous support to the country.

00:40Minister Pisturius was in the Philippines for his three-day visit.

00:44This was the first visit to the Philippines of a German Defense Minister.

00:49Part of this visit was his visit to the Indo-Pacific region.

00:53He first went to Hawaii before going to South Korea and here in the Philippines.

00:58Minister Pisturius thanked President Marcos for his warm welcome in Malacanang.

01:03He described his assistance to the Filipino officials as very trustful and very candid.

01:09He was ready to help the government of Germany in the Philippines.

01:13The diplomatic tie between the Philippines and Germany was established on October 8, 1954.

01:20President Marcos also led the Presidential Guard Career Executive Service

01:25and the oath-taking of the new career executive service officers or SESO.

01:29In his victory, President Marcos recognized the successful career executives.

01:34At the same time, the President called on them to continue being partners for a more prosperous country.

01:41So we continue to strengthen the CES.

01:44This year, we were able to increase the CES occupancy rate from 44% to 50% from the previous years.

01:52This is part of our target under the Philippine Development Plan 2023 to 2028.
