OECS congratulates Venezuelan president for his reelection

The Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Congratulated Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro on his victory in the July 28 elections.

00:09On Friday, at the 75th meeting of the OECS,

00:16debated on the elections in Venezuela
00:19and urged that all necessary efforts be made to achieve
00:22national reconciliation.
00:24During the meeting, they expressed their commitment
00:26to free and fair democratic processes worldwide,
00:29free from foreign interference, as the safest expression
00:34of the people's will.
00:35The OECS also expressed its appreciation
00:38for the invaluable solidarity and friendship
00:41extended by the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela
00:44that has flourished for more than two decades.
