00:00I'm really sorry about the strike, but that's the only way any of us have to say what we
00:06want and to get things changed, to get conditions changed. We're very lucky, we have an amazing
00:12practice and we don't have any problems getting appointments and referrals, but I appreciate
00:18it's postcode lottery and that we're very, very lucky.
00:21I've been quite lucky with GP appointments, but I think most of mine have been because
00:25they've asked me to come in for various things as an old person, you know. But I am aware
00:32that for some people it's very, very difficult to get appointments. It obviously reflects
00:36a shortage of GPs.
00:38I understand why the GPs are striking. I've got a few friends that are GPs at the moment.
00:43I do understand that, but me personally, I've not felt any issues when trying to book appointments.
00:49I've been very lucky and the surgery that I'm at are very good, especially with the
00:52children. They allow us to get in as soon as possible, so I have personally not experienced
00:58any delays with anything.
