00:00The housing, for me, £1.5 million won't even stress the service.
00:06It needs to be a lot more.
00:08Myself personally, just walking around Birmingham alone,
00:11and it's all over the country, there's so many homeless people everywhere.
00:15I've spoken to some of them and they've got nowhere to go,
00:19no help at all, and I think we need to start looking at that on a big scale.
00:25And the housing, again, £1.5 million won't stress the service.
00:28I think the other thing we need to remember is that previously,
00:34and I might have my data a little bit wrong here,
00:36but previously the government were insisting that we built an awful lot of houses
00:40because of the urban overspill, and then they did a U-turn on that.
00:45I think it was the end of 2022-23, and that dramatically reduced
00:49the amount of houses people were supposed to build,
00:51and that was under the Conservatives.
00:53Now the Conservatives are moaning about what Labour's doing,
00:55so I think it's really difficult for people to know what the truth is, to be honest.
