00:00On behalf of the people of Venezuela, because as we all are claiming respect to the ballots,
00:18to the votes, to the legitimate instrument of the people, respect of the electoral results
00:28of July 28th election in which it was expressed, in which the Venezuelan people expressed.
00:39And besides that, we take advantage of this hearing to demand on behalf of the whole Venezuelan
00:53people, the National Electoral Council, we demand the National Electoral Council, and
01:03making use of our constitutional rights, the publication of the definitive tally sheets
01:11of the electoral process on July 28th, to be reflected the meaning of the massive participation,
01:27the massive turnout of the Venezuelan people.
01:31That has been our presence, so we, Edmundo González Urrutia, one of the presidential
01:41candidates, and we aspire, we hope that from that publication of González Urrutia, following
01:49the constitutional laws, attached to constitutional law, be declared and established the results,
02:00the definitive results of the electoral process on July 28th.
02:11What the questions consist of, regarding questions regarding the process and its involvement,
02:22everything that we have been claiming, saying, and that today, of course, we reaffirmed them.
02:37We all have the right to hesitate reasonably.
02:42We have all the right to claim the results of election.
02:49So, did you present the tally sheets on July 28th, the election?
02:55We are members of the electoral platform and the command with Venezuela, and so the platform
03:05posted the copies of the tally sheets that we have, and so as we have been part of that,
03:14we feel represented.
03:21We made a presentation through the unitary, well, the unitary platform and the command
03:30of Venezuela, have presented the copies of the tally sheets, and well, I have just said
03:43it, this is a legal controversy, that it is not our jurisdiction to define it.
03:53If it is the Supreme Court of Justice being competent or not, for us it is clear that
04:06the National Electoral Council must publish the tally sheets, as the most valuable thing
04:16about democracy is the vote.
04:18People demand the respect to the vote, and that is why we have to see the official publication
04:28of the Electoral Council.
04:31Well, did you present or not the tally sheets as a fee-debis?
04:36Well, Edmundo Gonzalez used the epistolar route, and he directed to the Supreme Court
04:50of Justice, and we were summoned and attended the Supreme Court of Justice.
04:58There are two ways of being present, one in person and the other one through a letter.
05:05Did you present today?
05:10We were listening live the statements of Manuel Rosales for the Un Nuevo Tiempo Party, a New
05:15Era Party, as he was offering declarations following his hearing.
05:20He was the first to arrive here today before the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court
05:25of Justice to present his allegations and his evidence of this part of the judicial
05:29process that the Supreme Court is carrying out again on the July 28th elections.
05:37Let's listen to...
05:41The National Electoral Council must present the definite tally sheet.
05:47Did you present?
05:49We read your tally sheets on the post.
05:53We are part of what has been presented by the unitary platform.
06:00We don't have to present anything.
06:02If you want to demonstrate what you classified as fraud, it is here to present the evidence.
06:08Well, we are going to present what is already being made through the platform.
06:18Are you disregarding the headquarters of the Supreme Court of Justice?
06:24That's the proposal of the ones who belong to the unitary platform.
06:28Well, I don't know the details of the contentious appeal of that process.
06:36If you have the evidence, why didn't you show that on the Electoral Chamber?
06:42We made a proposal on the platform.
06:46Well, that's a position of González Urrutia.
06:52He used the letter, and we have to respect that.
06:58But he was summoned to be here in person.
07:02Well, but...
07:07Governor...
07:13The legality of that website in which you publish and unleash results, is that legal?
07:21We were listening to follow-up questions that the journalists present at the Supreme Court
07:25of Justice were making to Manuel Rosales as he was leaving after coming here to his hearing
07:33before the Supreme Court of Justice as part of the judicial process of the July 28th election.
07:38A constant topic on the issue has been the tally sheets.
07:41Manuel Rosales called on the National Electoral Council to present the full count of the tally
07:47sheets of the July 28th election.
07:50You could have heard the journalists were asking Manuel Rosales what about the tally
07:56sheets that they have presented.
07:58Why haven't he brought it up as evidence of an alleged fraud that he has said?
08:03Let's listen to what he continues to bring.
08:09These are the proper instances, the proper institution.
08:14If you said you are the winners, why didn't you present the affidavits?
08:20Well, we made a presentation at the university platform.
08:25That is your criteria.
08:26We have another criteria.
08:32So we can see the topic that continues on the table is the fact that if they are alleged
08:39an electoral fraud, why have they not presented any evidence regarding the tally that they
08:44said granted the victory to the other candidate.
08:47We're going to stay tuned with everything that is happening at the Supreme Court of
08:50Justice, so stay with us.
