00:00On behalf of the people of Venezuela, because as we all are claiming respect to the ballots,
00:18to the votes, to the legitimate instrument of the people, respect of the electoral results
00:28of July 28th election in which it was expressed, in which the Venezuelan people expressed.
00:39And besides that, we take advantage of this hearing to demand on behalf of the whole Venezuelan
00:53people, the National Electoral Council, we demand the National Electoral Council, and
01:03making use of our constitutional rights, the publication of the definitive tally sheets
01:11of the electoral process on July 28th, to be reflected the meaning of the massive participation,
01:27the massive turnout of the Venezuelan people.
01:31That has been our presence, so we, Edmundo González Urrutia, one of the presidential
01:41candidates, and we aspire, we hope that from that publication of González Urrutia, following
01:49the constitutional laws, attached to constitutional law, be declared and established the results,
02:00the definitive results of the electoral process on July 28th.
02:11What the questions consist of, regarding questions regarding the process and its involvement,
02:22everything that we have been claiming, saying, and that today, of course, we reaffirmed them.
02:37We all have the right to hesitate reasonably.
02:42We have all the right to claim the results of election.
02:49So, did you present the tally sheets on July 28th, the election?
02:55We are members of the electoral platform and the command with Venezuela, and so the platform
03:05posted the copies of the tally sheets that we have, and so as we have been part of that,
03:14we feel represented.
03:21We made a presentation through the unitary, well, the unitary platform and the command
03:30of Venezuela, have presented the copies of the tally sheets, and well, I have just said
03:43it, this is a legal controversy, that it is not our jurisdiction to define it.
03:53If it is the Supreme Court of Justice being competent or not, for us it is clear that
04:06the National Electoral Council must publish the tally sheets, as the most valuable thing
04:16about democracy is the vote.
04:18People demand the respect to the vote, and that is why we have to see the official publication
04:28of the Electoral Council.
