00:00I think our family just needed to get away so I found this cabin and found out
00:06it was dog-friendly and I thought maybe we should go there.
00:08You wanna go on a trip?
00:10Packing leading up to the trip is probably the most stressful part.
00:15You gonna pick out what treats you want, bud?
00:17They get almost a little anxious but excited. They follow me around.
00:21Oso, he's like this old gentle soul.
00:24Koa is our middle child. Bam Bam, he's our rescue clefty puppy.
00:30We're not gonna leave you. You get to come. Yes!
00:34There are so many things you need.
00:36Crates, dog beds, food, treats. All the things that your typical mom thinks up for kids but for dog children.
00:48We got dogs. We need to get one more kid.
00:53Waterfall.
00:56Oso gets upset any time we stop to have a potty break.
01:02When we first got there, the view was one of the most incredible views I have ever seen in person.
01:09They immediately spread out and start walking the property.
01:15This particular cabin is right on the edge of a cliff.
01:19So we kind of had to navigate any safety hazards.
01:23What do you think?
01:24We showed the dogs different areas of the house so they felt comfortable.
01:32I looked around and I was in such disbelief that such a nice place would allow me to bring three dogs.
01:38Oso has already made himself comfortable.
01:41We kind of all just relaxed for three days straight. It was amazing.
01:48Hey bud!
01:53I think he likes the view.
01:56You're not much of a hiker, buddy. I think we're going to leave you back.
02:00Is that going to upset you?
02:05He is a hiking champ. Granted, he's a boy breed, so we have to go at his pace.
02:12I mean, this was a pretty intense hike with a lot of terrain.
02:18That's a good dog daddy right there.
02:20And a good leg workout.
02:24He loves water.
02:26His body is not exactly what I would call buoyant, so we didn't let him swim-swim,
02:31but he got to dip his toes in and drink some of the water.
02:35It's kind of like a hippo where he's chomping.
02:43Toe's getting licked. The stairs didn't feel good on his paws.
02:47The stairs didn't feel good on his paws.
02:52That's a good boy.
02:54He wants what you have.
02:56My kids were so excited. Their first question was, are we going to do s'mores?
03:01Oso and Koa, they want what they can't have.
03:05I get upset nobody shared marshmallows with you.
03:08Once I started passing out their treats, they were completely okay with not having s'mores.
03:13There was a moment where Koa climbed up in my daughter's lap.
03:17He gives like this little look.
03:18Mom, I'm so happy to be here. Thank you so much for bringing me.
03:22And it almost brought tears to my eyes.
03:24You're in heaven, aren't you?
03:26He was just so thankful.
03:29Is it bedtime for you boys?
03:31All the dogs piled in the bed.
03:33It was really sweet to see because that was their blankie from home.
03:37Somebody's sleeping.
03:39He got up and walked across the whole house.
03:41Are you going to bed?
03:42He was like, I'm done.
03:45It was just a magical place.
03:48We just lost our campfire.
03:51The storm just rolled in, but it's absolutely beautiful.
03:54It's not necessarily relaxing the whole time, but it's always worth doing at least once.
04:01I have so many memories that I will remember for a lifetime and my kids too.
04:09And for a dog, their lives are so short.
04:12They deserve to be true family members and participate in as many family activities as they can.
04:19Are you ready to go home?
04:21Are you?
