00:00The two Vietnamese who were arrested here in the Philippines were in a gift from four Chinese people.

00:06They are members of the Kidnapped for Ransom group and a syndicate that commits crimes for POGO companies.

00:16When it comes to the 11th floor of a condo in Paranaque,

00:21SWAT and Paranaque Police slowly approached a unit at the end of the hallway.

00:38A suspected Chinese national, a member of a Kidnapped for Ransom group, fell asleep.

00:44According to the NCRPO, three of his companions were blocked in the basement parking of the condo.

00:56Three guns with silencers and other party drugs were confiscated from the Chinese suspects,

01:02while the two foreign members of the group were saved.

01:06Based on the investigation, one of the suspects pretended to be a client

01:10and contacted the victim, a Vietnamese who has a money exchange business.

01:14The suspect forced the victim to access her digital wallet.

01:18During the time she stayed there in the suspect's residence,

01:23they have been abusing her, putting a gun on her and also a knife on her body to force her to send the money.

01:32The suspects have already confiscated the money and silencers of the victim,

01:36which were being given to her family members.

01:39They were able to steal jewellery, withdraw money and transfer about 20 million pesos.

01:49Their motive here is to abduct, particularly they are preying on POGO officials or POGO employees

01:58or particularly foreign nationals, Vietnamese, Cambodian or even Chinese nationals.

02:04Another foreign member of the group was able to escape, so he asked for help.

02:08The foreign suspects of a syndicate are said to be members,

02:11serving as a muscle for POGO companies to abduct foreigners.

02:16According to the suspects, they have been living in the country for three years

02:20and working as POGO workers.

02:34There are already four cases of rape and kidnapping among suspects in Southern Metro Manila.

02:39NCRPO learned that one of the arrested Chinese suspects was wanted in China

02:45for the cases of rape, murder, human trafficking, kidnapping and extortion.

02:50The escaped suspect and other members of their group are still being investigated.
