00:00Now we go to the NFC where I'm not sure there's as clear of an answer.
00:09Here's the teams that finished in either dead last or a tie for last, which I guess is also
00:13a tie for third, but we'll save that conversation for another time.
00:17In the NFC North, both the Bears and the Vikings were 7-10 in the bottom of the division.
00:23The Panthers had the worst record in the National Football League in 2023, 2-15 in the NFC South.
00:29The Commanders just 4-13 in the NFC East.
00:32The Cardinals just 4-13 in the NFC West, but booked as an underdog in all 17 games, Arizona
00:39was 9-8 against the number.
00:41BRS for the teams that finished last, last year in the NFC, who has the best chance of
00:46finishing first this year around the conference.
00:50It's kind of tough the way, again, because we had really an easy out with the Bengals
00:55because that's a legitimate Super Bowl contender masquerading with a lot of injuries.
00:58Last year, not performing in a very tough division where they have a chance to actually
01:02win it this year, but you take a look at the NFC and you say, which one of these teams
01:05could possibly do it?
01:06If you're looking on banking on the Cardinals, yes, it is going to help.
01:09They have Kyler Murray back from week one.
01:11He's not working his way back from a knee injury.
01:13He should be 100% to start the season.
01:15You got an epic town at wide receiver to start, but you are still in a division, which quality
01:19football teams like the Rams, the Seattle Seahawks would be okay, and then certainly
01:23maybe the favorites overall would be the San Francisco 49ers.
01:26Let's just say Trent Williams comes back and also Devo Samuels out there with Brandon
01:30Ayuk and that offense is complete.
01:32We'll see how that is.
01:33So unless you're banking on, well, I think they can do good things and I hope like the
01:3749ers get injured.
01:38That's not a way to do it.
01:39We're not going to play it out that way.
01:40I don't think the Cardinals have a big chance here.
01:42If we're all looking at the commanders last year, four and 13 rookie quarterback, yes,
01:46it's hard to win a division.
01:47Dallas has a lot of talent.
01:48Philadelphia has a lot of talent.
01:50First year regime for Dan Quinn in Washington.
01:52We'll see how that one plays out.
01:53I don't really think they have a legitimate chance.
01:56Let's go to Chicago and Minnesota.
01:57A lot of talent on both of those football teams, but also you're dealing with upswing
02:00teams in the Detroit Lions.
02:02And also when you take a look at the Green Bay Packers, we expect them to be the top
02:06dogs of that division.
02:07But again, no slaps.
02:08That's a very competitive division all the way through.
02:10I don't know if I picked them.
02:12Hear me out on this.
02:13I do think the Panthers are not going to have a good season, but sometimes you have to take
02:17a step out here and say, new head coach here.
02:20Maybe Bryce Young appears to be that quarterback we thought he was, Heisman Trophy winner from
02:24Alabama and plays good football.
02:26Because quite frankly, am I real excited about the New Orleans Saints?
02:29No.
02:30The Tampa Bay Buccaneers?
02:31More fluke than anything for me in a terrible division last year.
02:35And yes, you have the Atlanta Falcons who I do think win that division with Kirk Cousins,
02:38but not a dominant program by any stretch.
02:41Why can't the Panthers be somewhat competitive this season?
02:44And you might say, you're crazy.
02:45You can't do it.
02:46But we have to make a decision on, can any one of these have a slight path to it?
02:50And if I'm looking at maybe the deepest run, could it be the Panthers?
02:54Just because I don't think that division is all that good top to bottom then.
