01:26This is a process that started on Wednesday and today is the second consecutive day of
01:32hearings in the capital of Venezuela, Caracas.
01:38In this context, let's highlight that Raimundo González, who was a candidate for the Democratic
01:44Unity platform, did not appear at the hearing in the Supreme Court of Justice electoral
01:49chamber, where he was expected to present the voting records from the presidential elections
01:56held on July 28th.
01:59According to the President of the Supreme Court of Justice, the failure to appear before
02:04the electoral chamber will have the consequences provided for in our current legal system.
02:13In the elections on July 28th, let's recall that the candidate of the Great Patriotic
02:18Fall, Nicolás Maduro, was re-elected as President of Venezuela.
02:34Edmundo González also did not attend a previous summons for the Supreme Court.
02:39Instead, his party did not recognize the election results and attempted to usurp the
02:45authority of the National Electoral Council, promoting violent acts on July 29th and 30th,
02:53which caused significant material damage.
02:57Two security agents were killed and over 140 people were injured.
03:04Some of the culprits, for example, burned official facilities, government buildings,
03:10educational institutions, health centers, and monuments, among others, for the payment
03:17of sums of money.
03:19Also more than 80 officers were injured.
03:30For the voting day, González assured that he would not sign, and he didn't sign it,
03:35the agreement to recognize the presidential election results as an instrument of political
03:43ethics through which 8 out of 10 candidates publicly committed to recognizing the results
03:50and contributing to the country's peace.

03:58Maduro will appear on Friday before the Supreme Court.
