Meet the American singer who went viral after being mistaken for Sabrina Carpenter due to her "uncanny" resemblance - and even shares the same name.
Sabrina Valum, 20, says she can’t leave the house without getting stopped and is mistaken for the pop star "multiple" times a day.
Sabrina Carpenter is an American singer who shot to fame after supporting Taylor Swift on the US leg of the 'Eras Tour'.
The Sabrina lookalike, who is also a singer, went viral on TikTok after posting a video of herself singing the pop star’s hit song ‘Espresso’.
The video attracted 5.2 million views and 590k likes.
Her TikTok was temporarily banned after users reported it - with trolls accusing her "pretending" to be Sabrina Carpenter.
But she has “leaned in” to being Sabrina Carpenters doppelgänger and now dresses-up like the songstress to perform at kid’s birthday parties.
Sabrina, who goes by Sabrina Rose professionally, performs her own music at local gigs and on her TikTok page.
The singer and waitress, from Orange County, California, USA, said: “I’ve always been told I look like her, but getting a fringe was the big switch that made people think I was her.
"Every time I leave the house people stop me in the street thinking I'm her.
"It happens multiple times a day.
"People ask to take pictures with me and will sing lines from her songs at me.
"I'm a singer, my name is Sabrina, I have the same blonde hair and blue eyes, so I get why I'm mistaken as her.
“The real Sabrina Carpenter has even liked a few of my videos and commented complimenting my vocals."
Sabrina Rose began her music career six years ago, when she was aged 14.
She has always been a huge fan of Sabrina Carpenter, and has gone to watch her concert three times.
Sabrina works several jobs including waitressing, performing at local gigs with her own songs, and at children's parties.
She said: “I’ve been singing covers of Sabrina Carpenter songs for years and nobody paid much attention until Carpenter blew up when she opened for the Eras Tour.
"She was a real inspiration for me getting in music.
“I would sing her songs in public, and I started to get more attention.”
After posting a video of herself singing Carpenter’s songs on TikTok, Sabrina Rose gained overnight popularity online.
She said: “I was getting millions of views – it was amazing!
“But I got lots of hate from people saying I pretending to be her.
“Some people even try telling me that Sabrina isn’t my real name, which is crazy.
“My account got banned after people reported it and it took a while for me to get it back.”
Sabrina’s resemblance to Carpenter has attracted attention in real life, as well as online.
She claims she is stopped “anywhere she goes” with fans confusing her with the global popstar.
She said: "I'll just be walking down the street, and people will stop to take picture with me.
"I always tell them who I am and they're shocked I'm not her.
“I take it as a huge compliment.”

00:03You're good in person and someone cares
