00:00Big morning session here on day 7 at Stade France at the Paris Olympic Games.
00:03We're going to kick things off with some huge breaking news that happened this morning.
00:06Quincy Wilson, the 16-year-old star from bowl school in Maryland,
00:10will run the lead-off leg for the men's 4x400 relay team for the U.S. in Round 1 tomorrow morning.
00:16This is big news. He will be one of the youngest to ever touch the track for Team USA.
00:20But actually, talking about this morning's session,
00:21we saw the first rounds of both the men's and women's 4x1 relays.
00:25Both of the teams advanced. Both win their heats.
00:27On the women's side, we did see a little bit of a hiccup there on that second exchange
00:31between T.T. Terry and Gabby Thomas.
00:33However, they still get the job done and move on.
00:35On the men's side, they look pretty dominant,
00:36winning by, I think, over half a second in that heat to move on.
00:40Notably, though, on the men's side, Team Jamaica will not advance.
00:42They struggled with their baton handoff, so they will not be in that 4x1 final.
00:47We also saw repishage round action in the men's 800.
00:50And Brandon Miller books his ticket to the semis.
00:52He won his heat of the 800-meter repishage and won 44-21.
00:56So he is going to move on to semis and survives that extra round.
00:59Lastly, we have the women's hapline kicking things off today.
01:02Talia Brooks, Anna Hall, Chari Hawkins, all competing for Team USA.
01:05So we'll have to see how those ladies do in the Maltese events.
