00:00Hi, I'm Rosie MacNeil. My business is called Rosie MacNeil Cakes and I bake cupcakes here in my kitchen in my home in Lisbon.
00:08At the beginning, whenever I was starting to do cupcakes, which I did with a friend initially as a fundraiser,
00:15we looked at lots of different cupcakes that you could buy in different places and they just all seemed quite dry,
00:22or certainly they dried out, so you couldn't have kept them for more than a day.
00:26So we worked really hard to get a recipe or recipes for the different cupcakes that then gave us something that we would be happy to eat ourselves.
00:37I will be bringing probably about 14 different flavours with me, so a mix of vanilla and chocolate,
00:46but also raspberry and white chocolate, lemon, gin and tonic maybe, with fresh lime and gin in it, if there's any left.
00:55So my husband thinks I'm an absolute nutter whenever I say that I like a really big baking day,
01:01but I just love starting off with all the raw ingredients and turning them into cupcakes,
01:08and then also having the end result, but the thought of that the next day I'm going to have a big sales day with lots of lovely customers,
01:17and that obviously is the best part.
