00:00Good afternoon. It's just a polite request as a matter of concern. Tomorrow, Sunday 11 August, is the start of a fantastic week of carnival events and activities.
00:15I'm here at the Skegness Clock Tower, which is a very popular viewing point to watch the Skegness Carnival Parade, which is taking place tomorrow.
00:24I'd like to wish the Carnival Committee the best of luck for the week ahead and thank you for all your hard efforts and the time you put in producing such a fantastic event.
00:34But I would urge anyone coming to please be extremely cautious in choosing the Clock Tower as a viewing point, as the wall at present is extremely unsafe.
00:45But works are scheduled to take place to make it a lot safer in the coming weeks. So if possible, please find a safer place to watch this annual event so you can enjoy it.
00:56Thank you and enjoy the Carnival Week.
