00:23You know, the Dodgers put themselves kind of in a situation where now they're dealing
00:28with, you've got the red hot San Diego Padres, and you have a red hot Arizona Diamondbacks
00:34team, both right on their tail.
00:36You could have said a couple, maybe a month ago, the Dodgers locked this thing up.
00:40The entire dynamic has shifted.
00:42That game one, Los Angeles made a statement putting up nine runs in that matchup.
00:47Then yesterday, putting a hurt on Paul Skeens, and I predicted this, Skeens had played them
00:52back in June, I believe it was June 5th, and he got the win.
00:56So the Pirates put up 10 runs in that game in a 6-10 final.
01:00So I went through his metrics and I looked at all of his stats, dating back to that game
01:06throughout the rest of the season, that was the most hits that Skeens had allowed, along
01:11with the most runs that he had allowed all season long.
01:14And then in his most recent matchups prior to yesterday, you could see that he was trending
01:19to the downside.
01:20He was descending as a pitcher.
01:22He was allowing more hits and allowing more runs.
01:25So yesterday, I fully predicted, and I actually said it on the SportsGrid show, I had the
01:30D-backs yesterday, and I expected Skeens to get lit up, and that's exactly what happened.
01:34They jumped on him early, they attacked him, and they figured out, and that's the thing
01:38with pitchers early on in their career.
