00:00Welcome back to Dailymotion!
00:25Every time I say this, I'm going to post more, I have to post more, I have to, I have to,
00:31so I'm trying to be timely with this.
00:32We're going to review Summerslam 1994, is that 35 years ago, am I doing the fucking
00:37math right?
00:38No, 30 years ago.
00:3930 years, right?
00:4030 years ago.
00:4130 years ago.
00:4230.
00:43By God.
00:441994, Summerslam.
00:45And I picked it because it's kind of one of the forgotten ones, well, we remembered
00:51all of the wrong ones actually, but yeah, yeah, this one was really, and this was deceptive.
00:58When you look at the crowd here and everything, you're like, they were doing amazing, but
01:01like this was during the funky time between the end of 92, 93, and 96 where they didn't
01:06really know what they were doing, but they were, Vince was like a month, this was like
01:10a month or two after he was acquitted, because he was acquitted, yeah, he, right before Hogan
01:16debuted in WCW in June or July of 94, they had the, they had the results of the trial
01:22also judgment.
01:23And then, um, so this was just, and don't forget to Jess, this is in Chicago.
01:28This is, this was wrestling diehard country right here.
01:31So, and well, an interesting thing on this too, they were in the, uh, they were in the
01:35United Center in Chicago and not only did they sell it out, but this, this stadium here
01:40is only 13 days old.
01:42Not I mean, obviously they were building it for a long enough, but it had only been open
01:45for 13 days.
01:46WWF was one of the first events in there, much like they do today, the Reliant stadium,
01:51the Raider stadium in Vegas, they had SummerSlam 2021 there, and that had only been open for
01:56like not even a month.
01:57They had one concert right before them and then that was it.
02:00So like they've been doing it for years, like in this, this arena held like 18,000 or some
02:05shit.
02:06Like this was no joke.
02:07This arena was really for the day.
02:08This arena was like nice looking is I was so pleasantly surprised by the matches on
02:13this card.
02:14Um, I, I remembered one or two being excellent and one being awful, but some of the other
02:19ones surprised me.
02:20But then every time I was like, okay, here we go.
02:23It's a fucking awful skit that Dave will get into or whatever.
02:26And it's like, God damn it.
02:28Like you're just so fucking kids.
02:30Like that's why we got disenchanted with WWE product in 94, 95 because we were juniors
02:34and seniors in high school.
02:36So we were just done with it.
02:37We're like, this is way too kiddy.
02:38So I just, I, I think that's why this gets forgotten because you just remember the Owen
02:43and Brett feud in 94 and that's it.
02:45Like, but you don't remember like what they were, she was trying to do around it.
02:48He was literally trying to do the same thing he did in the eighties.
02:50It just wasn't going to work anymore.
02:52Nobody wanted those characters.
02:53Yeah.
02:54And unfortunately it seems like there's some good wrestling here, but it doesn't matter.
02:58Um, well we had a pre-show match at a mom defeated a quang.
03:01Um, don't have anything to say about that.
03:04You probably didn't, couldn't even see it on the, uh, yeah, it was a pay-per-view.
03:09So match number one, Bam Bam Bigelow and Irwin are shyster better than was IRS accompanied
03:16by Ted DiBiase defeated the head shrinkers fought to and Samu with alpha and Lou Albano
03:21by disqualification and a tag match that went seven minutes and 20 seconds.
03:27You know how I feel about DQs.
03:29What do you guys give it?
03:30Why would you open SummerSlam with this shit?
03:34Like the match wasn't bad.
03:36The head shrinkers, it was the original head shrinkers.
03:38So it was Samu and fought to, it wasn't when, because the barbarian ended up stepping in
03:42for Samu, I think after a while.
03:45And then fought to of course Rikishi stayed.
03:47Um, but, uh, this is the original head shrinkers.
03:49Like, so they were good and Bigelow got in there and worked really well with them.
03:53IRS was normal.
03:54And, but I mean, it was fine.
03:55Like it was actually a decent tag match and it was fine, but then they did the DQ ending.
03:59I'm like, what are you doing?
04:00So I gave it a D. I'm like, fuck this shit.
04:02It's a fucking D. Same, gave it a D. You don't do that for the opening.
04:06As we always say, Pat Patterson, Tito, you need to get them off their ass for the first
04:09WrestleMania or whatever it was.
04:10So that's why we say that.
04:12So why would you do this and have, you don't, you guys don't know the rules.
04:15It's automatic F out of pay-per-view if you DQ.
04:19It was silly.
04:20Come on.
04:21This is ridiculous.
04:22Um,
04:53sorry.
04:54Um, I think my father's voice came on now.
04:58Come on.
04:59Uh, match number two, Alundra Blaze, our current champion defeated Bull Nakano.
05:03You're actually, David, you're actually skipping the first appearance of Leslie Nielsen before
05:07this on the trail of the Undertaker.
05:10Yeah.
05:11So the leading up to it, the Undertaker left after Royal Rumble 94 when he rose out of
05:16the building.
05:17So he was gone from January all the way to this event.
05:20And then, uh, we thought the Undertaker returned and sided with Ted DiBiase over the money,
05:26but Paul Bear kept saying, I'm telling you, that's not the real Undertaker, he'll return.
05:31And so like they built up all summer, it was like, is, is this a fake Undertaker?
05:35Is the real one still out there?
05:37And then, you know, they promised us at SummerSlam that the real Undertaker would come back and
05:41face the fake Undertaker.
05:43And uh, we'll get to that match later.
05:45But in the meantime, they hired Leslie Nielsen as like his naked gun character, goofy, bumbling,
05:51silly detective or whatever.
05:53And it was fantastic.
05:54It was frankly, yeah, it was terrible.
05:57And so every after every match that he'd be back there looking for like Undertaker and
06:01they'd find clues.
06:02And uh, when someone said like, you're standing on the case and they're standing on a briefcase
06:07like fucking ridiculous.
06:08Like I wanted to throw, I wanted to throw my phone like at the TV, like so fucking irritated,
06:14And I love Leslie Nielsen, but just not the place for it at all.
06:16And I love Naked Gun, it just doesn't belong here.
06:18Like again, it was Vince just going like, we should do stuff and funny things and slapstick
06:23comedy.
06:24It's going to be the best.
06:25I, I just Googled it.
06:27Naked Gun 33 and a third came out that year in late March, but it's still a couple months
06:31after that.
06:32So they don't need to promote the movie.
06:34It's done.
06:35This is in August.
06:36So I don't.
06:37Oh, Vince.
06:38Go ahead.
06:39I saw this movie last night, pal.
06:4033 and a third.
06:41Uh, Alundra Blaze, uh, our current champion defeated Bull Nakano accompanied by Luna Vachon
06:51for the singles WWF Women's Championship.
06:55That took eight minutes and 10 seconds.
06:57That's a good, decent amount for a woman's match in this timeframe.
07:01It is.
07:02That's good.
07:03It's a good thing, but Alundra and Bull Nakano always burned the house down, in my opinion,
07:09was this one of those of the three matches that I remember from this pay-per-view this
07:13match.
07:14I remember the 1994 Jess being so pleasantly surprised and it finally showed how good Medusa
07:20was and Bull Nakano.
07:22We'd never seen her before, but it just worked.
07:25Like all of this worked and you saw the chemistry.
07:27Um, I give, I give it an A minus.
07:29Like I was, there's only one match on the show that was better.
07:32And uh, this match, you know, I, I, I would accept a B plus, but I give it an A minus.
07:36I went back and watched it and they, they did what it didn't even matter.
07:41Vince still shit on the women's division after this, because there was no talent for Medusa.
07:45He couldn't do anything with her.
07:46And like, but this was that glimmer.
07:48I remember going finally, like, did they finally kickstart a women's division where we finally
07:52going to see some action?
07:53Sadly, not really, but like Alundra's short run, she had got begged Vince, can you bring
08:00some outside talent and I need some talent to feed.
08:02You can't just have me and Luna and Sherry face each other over and over and over again.
08:07Like it can't happen.
08:08And so like Vince tried for a minute, obviously it didn't work out.
08:10Shut up on nitros, do the shit in the trash.
08:12But uh, this match was great and I really, really enjoyed this match.
08:15Go ahead, Greg.
08:16What do you got?
08:17Yeah, I give it a B plus.
08:18It was, it was, it was, it was good.
08:19I mean, Nakano just kills her.
08:22Yeah.
08:23I mean, Nakano is just throwing her around like a ragdoll.
08:26Um, Luna bothers me, but she was fine and it was, uh, it was two Hall of Famers in there,
08:31by the way.
08:32And Alundra gets the win.
08:33It was good.
08:34Yeah.
08:35Two point German, two point German.
08:42What a tremendous victory here tonight.
08:48Give it to the new Salvation.
08:52A tremendous competitor.
08:54A tremendous role model.
08:59She deserved it.
09:00Yeah.
09:01Um, anything else before we get into match number four, guys?
09:04Just, uh, there's in between, uh, between these two matches, there's a Shawn Michaels
09:08and Diesel interview and Shawn is just peak asshole right here.
09:12Like, like he is just like a heartbreak kid.
09:18Just, just shit.
09:19He's just with his black and shit talking.
09:22He was like original Shawn.
09:24Like what an asshole.
09:25Like I just, wow.
09:27This was three, four, four months after the ladder match.
09:30So he was like, just pretty much calling his spots.
09:32Not even wrestling on the card.
09:34I think you might've been injured a little bit, but, uh, they just won the tag titles.
09:37What?
09:38Three nights before diesel and Sean.
09:39So they came to the event.
09:41Uh, the opening match was supposed to be for the tag titles, but head shrinkers
09:45lost the belts and a house show like three or four nights before to Sean and diesel.
09:49So they were really trying to push.
09:50Oh, wow.
09:52That's crazy.
09:53So that match got removed.
09:54Yeah.
09:55That, that was Vince though.
09:56Doing crazy shit.
09:57Oh, you know, anything can happen anywhere.
09:59It was to build the camaraderie between the two.
10:01Cause they knew the split was coming.
10:03Basically as well.
10:04Yeah.
10:05So we get into the third match of the evening or raise Ramone accompanied
10:09with Walter Payton defeated our current champion for the IC title diesel.
10:14Who was accompanied by Sean Michaels.
10:16Uh, that match goes 15 minutes and three seconds.
10:21Um, it's the second longest match on the card.
10:24Uh, guys, I feel like you're gonna.
10:27Walter Payton comes down, he's wearing a razor Ramone shirt and like, but
10:31athletes sometimes have a little rip in the t-shirt, but Walter Payton for
10:34some reason said, should I do more?
10:36And they went, yeah.
10:37And so he, he cut literally all almost to his belly.
10:41Yeah.
10:42It was like way below the chest.
10:43I was like, that is Walter.
10:44That's Walter.
10:45That's too much.
10:47Um, I like this match a lot.
10:49It's actually one of the best.
10:51It was very, this is a WWF match.
10:54Like, yeah, by all, it was very entertaining.
10:57Like it was really good.
10:58I mean, it probably went a little too long.
11:00Sean kind of had some moments too, and kept it going away from diesel's,
11:04you know, clunkiness, but, um, I gave it a solid B.
11:08I liked it.
11:09It's my great, a solid B.
11:10I was pleasantly surprised by this one.
11:12I remember the pop in the end when Ramone wins or whatever.
11:16And I remembered Walter Payton, but I didn't, I don't think I've watched
11:19this match through since like 96, 97.
11:22Cause I used to obsessively watch wrestling.
11:24So I'd watch it over and over again, but I haven't watched this match
11:27since the late nineties or mid nineties.
11:30So like when I watched it all the way through, I was like, wow,
11:33they were fucking, this was good.
11:35Like this was really good.
11:37Ramone is a star.
11:39Like Ramone's a star.
11:41Sean was excellent.
11:42Like, and diesel was fine for how green he was.
11:44Like he, they're his best fucking friends.
11:46Right?
11:47Like Sean and Scott were not going to allow diesel to fail.
11:50A bad match.
11:51Sean was carried.
11:57You're pushing in the ring.
12:20Just saying, just saying.
12:22But the look of this match with 19, 20,000 people cheering
12:25when they pop for him.
12:26Yeah.
12:27Great.
12:28Great ending.
12:29Yeah.
12:30Oh yeah.
12:31Yeah.
12:32For sure.
12:33Match number four, Tataka defeated Lex Luger and a singles
12:35match in six minutes and two seconds.
12:38That seems weird to me.
12:40I can't recall.
12:41Tatanka is well off.
12:42It's undefeated streak.
12:43So this is why like, I like the wrestling now because it doesn't matter.
12:49You say the names and you're like, what are we doing here?
12:52And but they had a storyline and whether you liked it or not,
12:56it didn't matter.
12:57Vince, the video packages, of course, were excellent.
13:00I remember weeks leading up to it to talk and kept saying Luger
13:03sold out.
13:04He's a narcissist.
13:05Like he's going to be.
13:06He's always been his old character.
13:08He's not this USA guy.
13:09He's a liar.
13:10I know that he's on DBS payroll.
13:12And then for weeks, Luger's like, I don't know why we're best
13:15friends to talk.
13:16They were never friends, by the way.
13:17So I don't know how they became best friends.
13:18That was the whole building.
13:21Of course, the swerve at the end of it is that Tatanka was the
13:24one that was in cahoots with Million Dollar Man and he turned
13:27evil.
13:28Total missed opportunity with Tatanka and maybe I'll do heal
13:31to talk that they could have done like back here, but they just
13:34didn't do it.
13:35But I give the match a C, maybe even C plus.
13:40It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good.
13:48And now he sees DBS showing up for his new boss.
13:54Yeah, he's asking.
13:55He hears it.
13:56What do you want me to do now, Ted?
13:59Wait a minute.
14:00Look at this.
14:01DBS.
14:02Tabaka coming up from behind.
14:03Rolls up.
14:04Luger.
14:05One, two.
14:06That's a catch.
14:07Oh, now what do you say?
14:12Now what do you say?
14:13Wait a minute.
14:17I gave it a B minus, but I'll change it to a C considering
14:21what you just said.
14:23Wrestling on this.
14:24Like, if it wasn't knocked down with the stupid skits and shit
14:27and they reminded me that they were like gearing the kids.
14:29I watched the majority of these matches, except for the match
14:32was good.
14:33Yeah, I was like, I'm going to talk.
14:35I worked in there like they were.
14:37They were sloppy.
14:38There was some sloppy power slams going around.
14:40They were just handing them out like candy.
14:42But I mean, like it was it wasn't, you know, I don't disagree
14:45with that grade per se.
14:46Craig.
14:47I just thought, like, I'm not going to give talking Luger a
14:49B.
14:50Yeah, like Luger's bumps.
14:51I was just realizing.
14:52Watch.
14:53Luger's bumps are weird.
14:54Yeah, he's weird.
14:55Bumps.
14:56Yeah, he can't bump.
14:57He doesn't know how to bump.
14:58Yeah, but you bought the ending.
15:00Like, he was distracted by deviosity.
15:02Tatanka kind of still took the roll up or whatever and took
15:05advantage of it.
15:06You can't blame him for it.
15:07And then he turned on him.
15:08But even the beat down after Tatanka doesn't really know how
15:10to destroy people.
15:11For some reason, it's like he didn't want to be a heel like
15:13at all.
15:14They didn't know how to destroy him.
15:16Yeah, it was a weird beat down.
15:18It was like a beat down that never ended.
15:21He forgot his weapon.
15:22That was meant to scalp Luger.
15:24Maybe he just sort of, like, followed away, slammed him twice
15:27and then, like, left or just stomped the shit out of him.
15:29He didn't.
15:30But he kept whipping him to the rope and, like, clotheslining
15:33him.
15:34Yeah, it was very strange.
15:35It was like he was wrestling again.
15:37Like, he was like, do I do spots?
15:39I don't know.
15:40How do you not know?
15:41I don't know.
15:42I don't know.
15:43You just got to stomp them into the dirt, you know, or bring
15:48your scalpel weapon.
15:49I'm just saying.
15:50I'm just saying.
15:51That's what it was.
15:53Like, it was silly.
15:54A lot of silliness.
15:55But the match wasn't as bad as I thought.
15:57The story carried it.
16:00Yeah.
16:01There you go.
16:02Match number five.
16:04Jeff Jarrett defeated Mabel, accompanied by Oscar.
16:08That must have been interesting.
16:10That took five minutes and 45 seconds.
16:12I give it a D.
16:14I don't know why it was even on the show.
16:16Like, this was one of the first pay-per-views.
16:18Remember a few years before, we'd review, like, WrestleMania
16:21six and shit.
16:22And there was 28 matches on the card.
16:24Like, on this one, this Summerslam only had seven matches.
16:27And I remember distinctly realizing that as a kid going,
16:30wow, they just shortened the shit on other pay-per-views.
16:33And they would only do, like, seven, eight matches going
16:36forward from here because Vince wanted to breathe storylines
16:39more.
16:40I remember going, like, why the fuck is Mabel and Jeff Jarrett
16:42on here?
16:43This makes no sense.
16:44It's not like you have 12 matches that I could understand
16:46that bullshit.
16:47But, like, one of your seven matches on your second biggest
16:50pay-per-view is Jeff Jarrett, who I like.
16:52And I like his character against Mabel, who wasn't even
16:55separated from Men on a Mission yet.
16:57He was still technically wrestling tag team with Mo.
16:59And he wasn't heel.
17:00He was a face here.
17:01This is before the Diesel shit.
17:02See, I didn't know this.
17:03I thought they were pushing Mabel because I thought there's
17:05no way Jarrett's winning.
17:06I thought Jarrett was the scrub here and going.
17:08I thought it was Mabel's push.
17:09And the pin was funky.
17:10Like, everything was funky because it was oil and water.
17:13They didn't belong in the ring together.
17:15Jarrett did absolutely the best he could.
17:17But Mabel is such a big lunk of shit.
17:19So it's like he didn't know what to do with them in there.
17:21And Mabel did bump, and he tried to take big things.
17:23But, like, none of it looked real.
17:25All of it was real.
17:26How far are we from King Mabel at this point?
17:29About less than a year.
17:31That's why.
17:32He was, like, ten months away.
17:34Oh, my goodness.
17:36One, two, he gets it.
17:38He's not getting.
17:40The winner, Double J, Jeff Jarrett.
17:43He's not getting.
17:45The winner, Double J, Jeff Jarrett.
17:56Can you imagine that?
17:57Double J, Jeff Jarrett.
18:03Man, here we go.
18:05Here we go.
18:06I feel like we have a lot to talk about here.
18:08Our current champion, WWF World Heavyweight Champion,
18:13Bret Hart, defeats his brother, Owen Hart,
18:17in a steel cage match for said championship.
18:19It took over 32 minutes.
18:22Guys, geek on.
18:24What do you got?
18:25Fuck it.
18:26All this shit before, Craig,
18:27while they were putting the cage together,
18:28with the family being interviewed,
18:29I was belly laughing.
18:31Because, like, Jim Ross, or Jim Ross.
18:33Jim Nightheart was excellent, like, by the way.
18:35He was fucking awesome.
18:36He was sitting one row behind the camera,
18:38because he was on Owen's side,
18:39and he just had his arms folded,
18:40and he was just...
18:41But Vince was getting annoyed with him,
18:42because Vince is on ringside,
18:44and this was Davey's re-debut.
18:46Davey was gone for a long time,
18:48and then came back here,
18:49and he didn't have the braids anymore.
18:50He just had the regular long hair,
18:52and I was dying,
18:53because, like, as he was doing it,
18:54like, Davey's trying to...
18:55It's like Davey forgot how to promo,
18:57because he'd been gone for so long.
18:58So he's like,
18:59and he's just all over the place,
19:01and then, like,
19:02they interview the other brothers,
19:04and Jim was awesome,
19:05but then he was...
19:06Vince was like,
19:07can you just be quiet,
19:08so I can get a word in?
19:09He was like,
19:10and he's yelling at Vince,
19:11and I'm dying,
19:12like, I'm laughing so hard.
19:13It was all...
19:14It felt great.
19:15I love the storyline
19:16between Owen and Brett.
19:17And he was yelling at Lawler,
19:18because he's on Lawler's side.
19:19Why don't you ask Donna
19:20to talk to the other brother
19:21behind her?
19:22That's Jim Nightheart!
19:23Because Lawler was not talking
19:24to the other...
19:25He didn't go to Nightheart.
19:26He didn't go to Nightheart.
19:27He pointed to himself,
19:28it's Jim Nightheart.
19:29He was just grouchy Vince.
19:30It was all excellent.
19:31Like, I was like,
19:32this is great.
19:33The match,
19:34I mean, fuck,
19:35A+.
19:36Oh my god,
19:37and Stu Hart,
19:38I'm sorry Jess.
19:39Stu Hart,
19:40even Gina looked up,
19:41and was like,
19:42is he okay?
19:43It's like,
19:44no,
19:45he's never really been okay.
19:46No.
19:47We're gonna stretch you now,
19:48it's gonna hurt a little bit.
19:49Bruce kept trying
19:50to get in the middle,
19:51because he still got hurt
19:52that it was Owen
19:53and not him.
19:54He was just trying
19:55to overact in the middle
19:56and shit.
19:57I was like,
19:58shut up,
19:59sit down Bruce.
20:00Like, please stop.
20:01The match was an A+.
20:02It was excellent.
20:03They were also told
20:04right before too
20:05that they couldn't bleed.
20:06So like,
20:07they did these
20:08creative leapfrog spots
20:09where they were both
20:10trying to leapfrog each other
20:11trying to get out
20:12and it was the most
20:13spectacular thing
20:14that I'd seen
20:15like up to that point.
20:16Like,
20:17this match was great.
20:18Also,
20:19this was the first
20:20five-star match
20:21that Dave Meltzer
20:22had given the company
20:23since like the early 80s
20:24and it was the last
20:25five-star match
20:26he would give them.
20:27Since he was shut out
20:28from the organization,
20:29call it what it is.
20:30Yeah,
20:31man,
20:32like,
20:33I didn't think anything
20:34could get better
20:35than a WrestleMania match
20:36but this match was excellent.
20:37Absolutely excellent.
20:38And Brett wins,
20:39of course,
20:40but what a great storyline.
20:41Like,
20:42what a,
20:43you know,
20:44one of the bright spots
20:45on 94.
20:46The match was great.
20:47Craig,
20:48I'm sure you loved it
20:49as well.
20:50I did.
20:51Just,
20:52yeah,
20:53just complete A+.
20:54I mean,
20:5530 minutes of,
20:56and essentially,
20:57Brett says it
20:58in an interview once.
20:59I think they didn't want
21:00to do that.
21:01But the way
21:02that they paced out
21:03their,
21:04like,
21:05constant escapes.
21:06I think there's been
21:07more attempted escapes
21:08in this match
21:09than any cage match
21:10in history.
21:11I saw an interview
21:12that Brett said about that.
21:13He wanted to equate those
21:14to false finishes.
21:15Like,
21:16you can't pin it,
21:17you can pin the cage
21:18but that wasn't,
21:19this cage you can still
21:20climb over the top
21:21or get out.
21:22So like,
21:23Brett's like,
21:24I wanted them to be
21:25false finishes.
21:26How can you do that
21:27in a cage?
21:28Like,
21:29it never worked.
21:30It never got boring.
21:31And even though
21:32you're just,
21:33like,
21:34stopping the guy
21:35from putting his leg
21:36over the top
21:37and climbing,
21:38you gotta bring him
21:39back up and
21:40Owen does this,
21:41like,
21:4210 foot leap
21:43to stop Brett
21:44from getting out
21:45of the cage.
21:46Owen takes a super flex
21:47from the top,
21:48which I think
21:49he hadn't seen
21:50since Bossman and Hogan
21:51that the crowd
21:52completely popped for
21:53and they just kind of
21:54played up this exhaustion
21:55towards the last,
21:56like,
21:5710 minutes or so.
21:59I mean,
22:00it was good,
22:01but just unlike
22:02any kind of other
22:03cage match of brutality,
22:04it was just more
22:05of a war of attrition
22:06between brothers.
22:07It was just perfectly
22:08good psychology too.
22:09When you look at
22:10the card of it,
22:11you look at what
22:12you're seeing,
22:13okay,
22:14it's a standard
22:15pay-per-view,
22:16and then this comes
22:17along,
22:18like,
22:19this is almost
22:20like WrestleMania
22:21worthy,
22:22right?
22:23So,
22:24this kind of match
22:25has no business
22:26being where it is.
22:27And what helps
22:28is the fact that
22:29they're all together
22:30and where we came from.
22:31So,
22:32where the jealousy
22:33started,
22:34the WrestleMania
22:35victory,
22:36the tagging,
22:37the kicked-your-leg-out-of-your-leg,
22:38so they built it up
22:39and then you
22:40then move to the family
22:41where the family's
22:42all concerned.
22:43Like,
22:44say what you want,
22:45the Hart family
22:46was always up
22:47for being a part
22:48of the angle
22:49and they always
22:50made it better.
22:51Yeah.
22:52And Jerry Lawler,
22:53oh,
22:54that's right,
22:55before too.
22:56I mean,
22:57before any of the Hart family
22:58was in the arena,
22:59Jerry would just get
23:00in their face
23:01and run them.
23:02He was pointing
23:03at Stu's face
23:04like,
23:05and just fucking out.
23:06I was dying.
23:07I was laughing so hard
23:08and then Vince came over.
23:09That's right,
23:10he did all that
23:11before they talked to him.
23:12He was just fucking
23:13running Stu
23:14and Helen down,
23:15like,
23:16right to their face
23:17and the family's
23:18just staring at him
23:19like,
23:20what?
23:21And he was
23:22threading them apart,
23:23like,
23:24yes.
23:25Yeah,
23:26he's out,
23:27he's out,
23:28he's out,
23:29he's out.
23:30They're both,
23:31they're both
23:32on the outside
23:33but hanging on
23:34to each other
23:35now the individual
23:36can drop down.
23:37Come on Owen,
23:38jump off.
23:39Jump off,
23:40Owen.
23:41Jump off,
23:42Owen.
23:43Brad,
23:44have Brad now
23:45with Owens
23:46in his arm.
23:47Oh,
23:48wait a minute,
23:49look at that
23:50and Brad
23:51rocks out.
23:52Oh,
23:53no.
23:54And he's in the final
23:55at the end
23:56of this fight
23:57and still
23:58World Wrestling
23:59Federation
24:00champion
24:01Brad
24:02Hey,
24:03hey,
24:04it's
24:05time.
24:06Wait a minute.
24:07Oh,
24:08no.
24:09Look at that.
24:10What's the main event
24:11here?
24:12Uh,
24:13the Taker
24:14with Paul Rerr
24:15defeated the Taker
24:16with Eddie Biasi
24:17in just under
24:18nine minutes
24:19in a singles match.
24:20It's a debut
24:21of the Purple Undertaker
24:22with purple gloves
24:24because they wanted them
24:25different.
24:26It was like an avatar
24:27of like a game,
24:28you know,
24:29when you in World Combat,
24:30if you chose two scorpions,
24:31one had to be a slightly
24:32different color,
24:33so you would know
24:34what their color was.
24:35That's what everybody
24:36says that this is like.
24:37It was two video game
24:38Undertaker.
24:39Get over here.
24:40One had the original
24:41gray on,
24:42one had the purple on.
24:43Uh,
24:44the match is an F.
24:45The match is absolutely
24:46shit.
24:47It's worse than Kane
24:48and Undertaker
24:49from WrestleMania 14.
24:50Like,
24:51and I didn't think
24:52this was fucking
24:53all night long,
24:54all of it.
24:55And then they just
24:56boring,
24:57slow clotheslines.
24:58The other Undertaker,
24:59which was Brian Lee,
25:00by the way,
25:01who would be a part
25:02of the biker gang
25:03like later in the company.
25:04Brian Lee was
25:05the name
25:06who was good friends
25:07with Undertaker
25:08in real life.
25:09And so,
25:10um,
25:11worked on USW.
25:12He worked on Smokey
25:13Mountain a lot.
25:14Um,
25:15so he was on loan
25:16from Smokey Mountain
25:17and they put him
25:18under there.
25:19He was close.
25:20He had long hair.
25:21So that's why they
25:22brought out the biggest
25:23bloated urn.
25:24Bigger than,
25:25more bloated than him.
25:26Like,
25:27out with him.
25:28Because DBS,
25:29he had the original urn
25:30and then he had this urn,
25:31Bear brought this new urn
25:32on steroids.
25:33And when he opened up
25:34the top in the beginning,
25:35light shot out of it
25:36and then the Undertaker
25:37came down,
25:38the real Undertaker,
25:39to a,
25:40you know,
25:41great entrance.
25:42Oh,
25:43my penis.
25:44Like,
25:45so he,
25:46uh.
25:48Oh!
26:09It was not.
26:10Like,
26:11so it was,
26:12it was starting to get
26:13smaller here in Struggle,
26:14but this event was a
26:15home run for sure.
26:16Like,
26:17just turn it off
26:18after Brett and Owen.
26:19Just turn it off
26:20after Brett and Owen
26:21and hum the theme song
26:22and pretend the paper
26:23is ending
26:24and,
26:25like,
26:26you'll be fine.
26:27If you watch this whole show
26:28all the way up
26:29to the end of Brett
26:30and then just shut it off,
26:31like when Brett
26:32retains the title,
26:33you're fine.
26:34Then it's an A.
26:35Yeah.
26:36I love it.
26:37Thanks.
26:38Alright,
26:39well,
26:40hey,
26:41it's summertime,
26:42it's SummerSlam season.
26:43This is gonna probably
26:44come out after
26:45because SummerSlam
26:46is coming up.
26:47But to me,
26:48the month of August
26:49will always be SummerSlam
26:50because that's pretty much,
26:51it's always been
26:52mid to late August
26:53like when we were growing up
26:54and then now they're
26:55kind of making it
26:56a little bit early
26:57now.
26:58But month of August
26:59to me is SummerSlam month.
27:00So,
27:01thanks everybody much.
