Mum completes £200k five year project to turn her entire home into pastel paradise

A mum has completed a £200,000 five year project to turn her entire home into a pastel paradise.

Sophia Ferrari-Wills, 36, adores everything colourful and was on a one-woman mission to eradicate all 'beige' and grey from her 1960s cottage.

She started in 2019 - but upped the renovations in August last year, vowing to remove, refurbish, paint and upcycle EVERY item that wasn't a pretty pastel shade.

All remaining black, grey and beige has been eradicated; right down to the window frames and ceilings, lamp shades and rugs - and even the wood burner.

A snug was added and a wall knocked through to create an open plan kitchen, with floor-to-ceiling windows added to create the perfect natural light to show off the pastel hues.

People have described the five-bed home as "aesthetic perfection" and after playdates, Sophia's children's friends beg their parents to do the same to their own homes.
