A couple renovating a 1950s fixer-upper made an incredible hidden treasure discovery when they removed the carpet to unveil a stunning parquet floor. Charlie and Neha, both 30, met in school and have been together since they were 18, dreaming of one day buying their first home together. They made that purchase earlier this year, settling on a 1950s abode that they saw as a renovation project – something they always wanted to try. On May 6, having received the keys, Neha and Charlie decided to take a look under the carpet to see what they were working with. They were expecting to find a cavity or concrete floor, but when they took a glance at the first spot of parquet flooring, they were stunned and fortunate to capture the big reveal on video.
