00:00You saw Davis and Bede when they were playing, and Bam Adebayo, they were literally getting
00:11thrown to the ground, and they were doing the same thing the other way.
00:16It's often said that FIBA is a more physical game, and I don't believe that that's the
00:21way the game is going.
00:23The game in the NBA is certainly not going that way, the game in the NCAA is not going
00:28that way.
00:30It's not going that way.
00:32And if the idea is, well, the only way Europe can keep up is to allow the game to be played
00:38that way, I got a better idea.
00:40Get better.
00:41I mean, if you can produce a Jokic or a Giannis or a Luka, then why can't you do more than
00:47one of those guys?
00:48If you can do it, go out and get better.
00:51It just relies on the game being physical so you can stay with the United States in
00:56international competition.
00:58Learn the game of basketball better.
00:59I mean, everybody keeps telling me that they teach it way better over there, and all the
01:04players that come here are more fundamentally sound and all that.
01:07Well, if that's the case, then why does the game have to be that physical at the FIBA
01:11level?
