00:00If I'm just, again, like if I'm removing Boston bias and I would like it to be a sweep four
00:09games win by 20 points apiece, that's what you're rooting for when it's your team, obviously.
00:14But if I'm just talking purely as a basketball fan, the whole postseason was pretty lousy.
00:18But yeah, the finals were terrible.
00:20And I empathize with the people out there that was all over social media, all over Twitter
00:25going, you know, after that seven to 10 day break, whatever it was between the conference
00:29finals and the start of the NBA finals sitting.
00:32We had to wait a week, week and a half for this, for this garbage.
00:36It's true.
00:37It went five games.
00:38And honestly, most of them were not competitive at all.
00:40It was not a competitive series.
00:41You could argue that the Celtics sweeping the Pacers in four closely contested games
00:46was a more competitive, more entertaining series than obviously that NBA finals against
00:51the Dallas Mavericks.
00:52So yeah, I get it again.
00:54It's purely as a fan with no rooting interest whatsoever.
00:57You just want to be entertained for sure.
01:00And that's how a lot of people were talking, you know, three games into the Stanley Cup
01:04final.
01:05Right.
01:06Like that's that's how I felt because I didn't have a dog in that fight between Edmonton,
01:09Florida.
01:10I didn't really care who won.
01:11So I was looking at it going 3-0 like this is terrible.
01:14Who wants to watch this?
01:15And of course, you know, we see Edmonton make a run, take it to seven games, and then Florida
01:19ends up finally pulling it out and getting their heads on right and finishing the job.
01:23I mean, there were a lot of similarities between those two series, at least at that stage.
