00:09I think it's particularly important and telling that Damon at this point sees a younger Rhaenyra

00:15at the moment when his marriage has hit a new low where he's feeling angry and hurt

00:20and his wife says he is pathetic.

00:22It's his idealized form of the woman he loves that comes to him.

00:26This isn't the Rhaenyra who would call him pathetic.

00:29It's the version of the character over whom he had some element of control.

00:33Like he did the night he took her to a brothel.

00:35It's the Rhaenyra who is headstrong and rebellious in the way he liked, the way that made him

00:40feel good about himself, and the way that he used to get back a bit at vice eyes because

00:45so much of Damon's story is rooted in his relationship with his brother.

00:49It's the Rhaenyra he wants back.

00:51And then comes the cruel twist as she says she's always cleaning up after him.

00:56Even she is condemning his actions.

00:58It shows just how misguided Damon has been and, perhaps, is the closest we will get to

01:03confirmation he did order Jehri's death, given she's suing his head back on.

01:08Damon is not someone who will consciously open up too much or process emotional pain

01:13or regret well, but this forces him to do that.

01:16In an interview with Screen Rant's Thetiana Hullender, when asked if this Rhaenyra appeared

01:21because she had looked up to Damon, director Geeta Vasanth Patel agreed.

01:25She explained the decision to bring Alcock back in House of the Dragon.

01:29Alcock's return very much suggests there is an open door in terms of characters returning.

01:34Certainly, it would not be a surprise to see her again, at least for as long as Damon and

01:40Ali's reverse are at Harrenhal together.

01:42Whether others will be back is another matter.

01:45Casting announcements and trailers suggested Cian Brooks' Emma Arryn will return in House

01:50of the Dragon season 2, but that's to be confirmed.

01:53Vysai's Paddy Considine would make a lot of sense though might be harder to have kept

01:58secret.

01:59Lena, Nanna Blondel could be another option.

02:02Damon's visions open up multiple possibilities, and so long as they're rooted in his character
