00:00This weird new business that came up was the fact that the Celtics are, you know,
00:04we're going to sell the team and the new ownership that I've heard.
00:07It's like a lot of people talk about building a new arena.
00:10How concerned are you, you know, in the future, possibly losing the Celtics
00:15for them, maybe building a new arena?
00:16I haven't heard that one.
00:17But yeah, and listen, I listen, I'm very good friends with the current Celtics
00:22ownership, and I've had conversations with both WIC and frankly, the majority
00:27of the minority owners of that group.
00:30Um, we have a very good rapport and have had one for 20 plus years.
00:35Um, I'd expect that, uh, whoever the new owners will come in and we'll talk about
00:39it.
00:39The Celtics are have signed a lease with the TD garden for another 12 years or so.
00:43So I don't expect that they'll be moving anytime soon.
00:47And you know, I'd love to have a part of it.
00:50We'll see.
00:51Of course, I was going to go.
00:52I was going to go the other way.
00:54You start to see these prices for these franchises.
00:56And I wonder if you and your dad sit there and go, well, the timing might be
01:01right because the NHL is getting fiscally stronger.
01:05And I know that, uh, is expansion on the way in the NHL?
01:09Like, where do you see kind of the league going the next five years?
01:12Cause we've got a lot of shifting going on.
01:14Yeah, we do.
01:15You know, I do think that, you know, listen, they've, they've recently
01:18cleaned up, um, what was the Phoenix Coyotes and they moved to Utah.
01:22I do think that there, there is opportunity to grow our game.
01:26And that is a national hockey league.
01:27And I do think it it's somewhere, you know, whether it's, I don't know what
01:31the market is and I'll get in trouble for mentioning any single one of them,
01:33but I do think there is opportunity for expansion just as the NBA is talking
01:37about bringing a team to right.
01:39To Los Angeles.
01:39It's kind of inevitable.
01:40It's almost like each league is in their own arms race in their own way.
01:44I hadn't thought of it like that, but sure.
01:45It kind of feels like it.
01:47Well, because you know, everybody, each owner is its own business.
01:50But then again, you're under this giant umbrella where they're like,
01:52how do we grow the pie?
01:53And everybody's like, well, it's just expand.
01:54There we go.
01:55Well, you can only do that so many times, right?
01:56That is as we have as we have found out.
01:59No question.
02:00Ask the Vancouver Grizzlies.
02:02That's another story for another time.
