00:00Demi congrats, you had one chance to win here in your country, in the Netherlands, and you've done it, that is so emotional I guess

00:10Yeah, I really didn't see this coming, so I don't know, I really had no idea that I could do this today, so I'm really surprised actually

00:29Did you specifically train for the TT before the Tour de France?

00:34No, actually this was not, I mean these first days were just days I needed to survive, and I wanted to really enjoy these first days

00:44And actually I had the whole time tomorrow already in the head, because tomorrow's stage I really love, I really liked the Liege-Bastogne-Liege race

00:55So I don't know, today in the road race I was the whole time already thinking a little bit of tomorrow

01:05And after the race, until the TT, I slept two times, I was so relaxed, I did two times a power nap, so I don't know, I really didn't see this coming, so I'm really surprised

01:20Compared to what you've done in the Tourmalet, about your feelings, is it different because you're home, or is it the same level for you?

01:27Yeah, I mean, last year Tourmalet, that was the stage I needed to do it, and here I had no expectations at all

01:38I mean I was not thinking even of the podium, I really thought it was something for the sprinters today, and for the power for a time trial list

01:46But yeah, then Anna said already, after she followed the first one from our team, she said to me, it's really a course for you

01:57And I was like, yeah, yeah, I don't know, I see

02:02And I don't know, before the start, I just fly into it, I mean, in the raccoon I had so much bad luck, and I stayed so calm

02:15So, I don't know, it was a strange day for me, I cannot believe it yet

02:20You didn't expect to win today, does it change something for the rest of the Tour de France in terms of tactics for the GC?

02:28I mean, it's up to the other teams, of course, to take the yellow jersey from our team now

02:34And it's nice that I have it, but I will see, for sure we will try our best to defend it till the very end

02:42But yeah, actually the plan was to take it a little bit later in the week, so I'm really surprised I have the yellow jersey now already
